I think the Carrera is the most iconic watch from Heuer. The Monaco was just a prop-watch for Steve McQueen, because his private Chrono was a Hanhart 417es.
I'm a big Heuer fan and I agree. The Monaco was a total flop and McQueen didn't even allow Heuer to use his image for advertising. The Carrera is the most original and timeless design from Heuer, easy. It's the watch that racing drivers wore and has been in production for decades continuously. Unlike the Monaco.
Noticed a couple drops of water go on the bezel of your close up shot of your black bay😂. Great video and list! Wore my victorinox field watch on an old school bond nato strap today
My difference of opinion: Oris - the big crown, and Tudor - the Ranger. I’m wearing my Beaucroft British Sky on a blue Vario Bundt strap. Great video. Thx!
I broadly agree with your choices! Not on IWC, though. I’m wearing my Tudor BB58 🎉 speaking or Tudor, I think the Pelagos is more uniquely Tudor, and therefore more iconic. I’d go for the 39
Hey mate Love your videos Hope I'm not being out of line but fixing the eczema on your hands will make alot of the shots better Talk to your doctor about the generalised info below - never use soap, use non soap cleanser eg dove - moisturise constantly, consider using thick moisturizer like Vaseline - soak your hands in a bleach bath recipe eg Google rch bleach bath. Make it in a bucket and soak your hands 20 minutes a day. Moisturize immediately afterwards - never rub your hands dry, gently pat, leave them slightly wet - avoid all contact with chemicals on hands eg wash dishes with gloves - potentially moderate eczema on hands becomes colonized with bacteria which perpetuates inflammation, sometimes oral antibiotics needed - biggest mistake people make with hand eczema is not using a strong enough steroid - eg diprosone. Weak steroids will do nothing for the hands
My favorite Panerai is the 1940 case Radiomir. The Luminor however is the Panerai everyone recognizes even from a mile away. For me the Pelagos 39 has more of the vibe of the original Tudor Submariner than the BB.
I honestly think for Omega you genuinely have two icons. Speedmaster and Seamaster. Same for Rolex, Submariner and GMT Master II But that’s for part 2 I guess 😎
@@lonewolfemcquade8133 The 14060M is a perfect fit on me. I traded the latest iteration of the Submariner for that model and never looked back. I also had the Calibre 11 and had to move on from it based on fit as well. Broke my heart as I really wanted a Monaco in my collection, but now have a Viceroy Autavia from 1972 and absolutely love it. I do think the real icon might be the Carerra, though.
It was the choice of the costume designer whose dad was in the navy (if I'm not mistaken) and with Bond being a naval commander - she put the two together.
@@xavhui3793 The James Bond from the Novels wore a Rolex watch 9 years before the first movie. Are you saying that there was a costume designer for the novels?
Wrist Check….Im in bed so nothing. But the last watch on wrist was a Vaer Solar Diver. The ultimate Armageddon watch. Good luck finding a watch battery 10 years post apocalypse. Yes it will eventually fail to reliably keep time but far after everything else.
I don't know why. But I struggle to see the beauty of Hamilton watches. When I see them it reminds me of a young boys first watch. They are just another boring watch. They don't even come close to look exclusive. They actually look very cheap.
In the Ian Fleming Bond novels, James Bond's watch is described as a Rolex Oyster Perpetual. Sean Connery wore a Rolex Submariner Ref. 6538 in “Dr. No,” “From Russia with Love,” and “Goldfinger,” which legend has it, may have been from his personal collection. James Bond started wearing Omega watches in 1995 with the release of the film GoldenEye, the Omega was chosen because Omega was willing to pay more money for Bond to wear it.
The Aquaracer looks like an Omega SMP with all the "controversial" features removed: no helium escape valve, no skeletonized hands, no tank tread bracelet. An SMP without soul, basically.
On my wrist, the NTTD. Most iconic watch ever? That would be the Rolex Submariner. Followed very closely by the Omega Moon Watch. After that, the Rolex Dayton and then any square Cartier.
What’s the most iconic watch in the world?!
Probably either the Casio f91-w, the Rolex submariner, the omega speedmaster proffesional or the ap Royal Oak
Omega speedmaster moon watch or Rolex submariner
Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch
Rolex Submariner, Rolex Pepsi Heuer Monaco CAL-11
1980s two tone rolex datejust with champagne dial. Thats the most iconic watch on the planet. The end.
All excellent choices on the icons, except for the ingenieur. the big pilot really is THE IWC icon.
Yep
Yep
Agreed. I don’t exactly know what Harrison means when he says the Ingeneur “had the most impact”. 🤔
Stood watching this while cooking my families dinner, love how easy your videos are to watch. Great stuff....as always. 👍🏼
Oris 0:46
Panerai 2:24
IWC 5:10
Blancpain 6:37
Tag Heuer 8:15
Tudor 11:00
Omega 12:32
Hamilton 14:07
Great video!
For the Oris I'd go for the big crown pointer date instead. Definitely more interesting, both in terms of design and in terms of history.
this is a brilliant content, do the seiko, longines, frederique constant etc., on part 2
Wearing the 1832 Hesalyte Speedy on the Omega deployent rubber strap which shows the lunar surface on the skin side of the strap.
Old green Seiko Alpinist on Miltat bracelet which completely transforms it.
Rocking Omega Seamaster on the folding clasp rubber strap!

I’ve got the old carrera, and I agree with you also.
Omega ❤
Great content. On my wrist the Muhle Glashutte SAR Rescue Timer.
Awesome video! Wearing the Sinn 556 I... As always

Thanks mate, appreciate that 🙌🙌
Noticed a couple drops of water go on the bezel of your close up shot of your black bay😂. Great video and list! Wore my victorinox field watch on an old school bond nato strap today
Yeah this is a valid list. I’d like to see you take it into more brands as well. I’d also like an up and comer. Omega Aqua Terra/tudor GMT, etc.
Good choices and still holds true today. Look forward to hearing the continuation of this series.
Awesome video!! I’m a huge Tudor fan and you’re right about the Tudor Monochrome being future icon but for me I went with the BB 925. Aka Silver. 😊
Today's watch is my Random Rob Edition Nodus Sector Deep. Enjoyed the video.
1:40 where did you get that blue checked sports coat from?
Nearly bought the IWC Pilot XX a few weeks ago, but not a strictly in-house movement.
On wrist: Omega 41 Aqua Terra black lacquer dial.
My difference of opinion: Oris - the big crown, and Tudor - the Ranger.
I’m wearing my Beaucroft British Sky on a blue Vario Bundt strap.
Great video. Thx!
Great vid! Hate from South Florida 💙🌴
Thanks bud, hahaha hate or hey?

Man I just come back from Halloween Cosplay event haha, but nah I need to watch you first
Fun selection. I've got on my Omega Planet Ocean. Great watch.
Most iconic watch SEIKO spring drive.

Great informative vid,on my wrist today is my Oris divers 65 bronze bezel

The most iconic heuer is a monaco. The most iconic tag heuer is the original formula one imho.
Wrist check= Hamilton Field Mechanical 42mm, blk dial on orange rubber strap. Weekend piece
Excellent video tho
I am wearing my CW Belcanto in purple on the leather strap.
Nice video mate - do you set your watches exact to the second?
Hey mate
Love your videos

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 41m blue dial
Wearing my #093/200 Zodiac Super Sea Wolf today!
Breitling Superocean Heritage II Black dial S&G on a rubber strap is on my wrist today while I watch this.
Rocking my BlancpainXSwatch ocean of storms
I think the Rolex iconic watch was the Datejust or the Daytona for many years. The Submariner took its spot in the steel sports watch era though.
Great video.
Love my Rolex Submariner, Omega, Seamaster 300m blue dail, Heuer Monaco Calbrie 11 blue Steve McQueen Going to add a Cartier next.
Own a Heuer Monaco CAL-11 and 14060m Rolex Submariner myself. 😉

10:22 lol never heard of that fact😅 if that is true than Omega missed a BIG opportunity to be THE OG Bond Watch with THE OG Bond Sean Connery.
They can never be the OG Bond watch. Since JB in the books wore Rolex. Rolex will always be JB wrist watch anything that came later is BS
I'd say IWC has 4 equaly iconic, Big Pilot, Mark, Ingenieur and Portugieser
On my wrist today: Hamilton Below Zero yellow hand and yellow rubber strap titanium edition, 1000m WR.
On my wrist : Glycine combat Pepsi a great gada .
If blancpain make a no radiation ☢️ dial with a 40 mm, it would sell very well 😌. Wearing gmt master II 116710 😊
On m Wrist tonight is a PADI World Seiko king turtle on bracelet brand new😁
On the wrist today is my Breitling colt automatic 38 mm I bought in 1995
I have on my Tudor blackbay 58 - black face 😊
Epic!! Do you prefer it to the new monochrome?
@ I do love the fact it’s very classic/vintage looking.
Senti falta da menção ao relógio mais icônico da Longines.
On the wrist: New Jack Mason Dr. Pepper Strat-o-timer
How is the ventura not the most iconic watch for hamilton??
Could only afford one watch, so that's only one on my wrist, the 2024 BB58 GMT. Unsure what to go for next though 🤔
Great choice pal. Enjoy it. And start saving. Hooked
I am wearing my SMP on green rubber strap
Khaki Field Automatic or mechanical hand wind??? That is the question!
Didn't James Bond originally wear a Rolex in the books? Why would the movie people reach out to Omega first? 🤔

None of these are on my wrist...got the Baltic Aquascaphe GMT
No Rado Captain Cook ?😢

You forgot Hublot
With good reason...... LoL....
Fun vid but dude, you just lost your mind on iwc..
portugieser or pilots watch, those are your choices.. pick one. (the pilot one.)

We have never been to the moon. Anyone who owns a Speedmaster thinking this I'm afraid you've been well and truly fooled.
Today on my wrist my U-Boat Darkmoon bronze 44mm nice video once again thanks bro…👍💪👏🫶
Rolex?
