I’m very excited for you and so happy you are going to experience the northeast during the summer. Here in upstate New York we have so many beautiful opportunities within a half day of travel. Hang in there guys. We have an older yellow lab who had a tie back surgery for lar par. We had it done in Colorado by a fabulous team. He unfortunately has a degenerative poly neuropathy that caused it. Its amazing how these guys become like children. Good luck to you all.

Your situation makes me think of the Serenity Prayer; "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference."
