28 Bravo worked by Matt Lahti in Texas. Its a screamer on my Gambler with a 250 XS. The Bravo work great on Gamblers AFTER some tweakin from a good prop guy. Also ran some Trophy’s but slung the blades on them….. Holeshot sucked and top end was ok. Possibly a touch faster than the Bravo. But wasnt worth it. The holeshot, and overall handling of the Bravo on a Gboat has been incredible.
BRO LETS GOOOO! BRUNT is a absolutely BAR NONE HANDS DOWN one of the best boots in the industry that doesnt break the bank! break in time and quality is insane!
Great show today!! I believe I have a raker on my 201 with a 200 xp. It's good to get a little history of the prop world and what works best with what. Wish I had more experience with bass boats but I live up in walleye world 🙄 so I do the best I can with mine and the few bass boats I work on.
Great video on props. I have a Raker on my 40 yr. old v4 90 hp Johnson is still good with a good hole shot and mph top end. While I wish I could have a Sharrow prop they will not make it yet. Andy keep up the good work.
I was just looking at brunt work boots and now I will order some. I have always bought Redwing but I'm not happy with the last pair I bought for over 300 so I'm happy to get a review of the brunt boots from someone I trust to be truthful
Had a dealer install a new 225 sho on my 1999 zx210c back in 2019 and was only getting 5200 rpms, took it back to them they said there was nothing wrong. Took a trip to lacrosse to team marine and it wasnt set up at all. Andy had my boat set up in about 1.5 hours and was a complette different boat. Had the 23pitch scorpion and its a runner..
99’ R91 Ranger repowered with a 2017 Opti Max Merc. 4 blade Fury 24 pitch? It was the top prop in 1999 for Mercury and when I bought the boat new at the time I got a spare prop…on my flats skiff I run a 2018 tiller Merc 4 stroke with a solace stainless 10 pitch.
Probably late to this conversation but i have a pro xs 115 with a tempest 24 pitch.....bought it used was told this was the og prop that was on it. Is this to much prop for the boat.... triton 179trx...hole shots good runs out at 45ish.......
Late to da game, but I rock a bravo 1 22p on my 18ft bass widd a 1-fiddy. My floater is heavy with my whole fam and their coolers and that bravo lifts up da whole damb bote. Love it
I run a 22 pitch Tempest Plus on my '24 Mercury ProXS CT 115HP bolted up to my pad hull '24 Lowe Stinger 178 with a 6" hydro jackplate. It tears it up at 52.2 mph. Runs a little hot up top breaking past the 6300 RPM maximum but damn this setup is killer considering the size of the engine. Starting to consider a mild blueprint.
Hey Kids just wanted to let you know couple weeks ago I took my boat out for a few hours to see if it would run. Um pumped it up turned the key over and bam less than 2 seconds fire in the hole. Boat ran great tell Neil or whoever great job on the hot foot it dont stick no more. Thanks guys out of commission for awhile had a new left hip put in last Monday so will be a bit for fishing.the hip slogan goes no speed shit tons of money and plenty of brakes. Anyway thanks for the great job done on the most Ikonic boat in the world Nitro NX 882 Wheeler could only dream about driving my boat acrosse Onalaska
Hey Andy, I have a 03 Triton TR19 with a 200 Honda. I am running a 4 blade Solas Rubex 21. It gets my me on plane with all the weight added from tackle, gas, live well and a big co-angler. The Tempest 3 blade 23 pitch whenweighted down, I could not get on plane. It's not a problem now, and I still have a top end.
Well I was going to say the Lightning Series from Mercury Racing, but at the end you said you were not looking for those type of props. I will add the ProMax from Merc Racing and the Hydromotive Engineering Quad IV to the list. Always enjoy the videos
You need a team marine bass boat build. You could test stuff out like the Sharrow prop on it and do a bunch of videos using the boat as a test rig for everything you might review. Even the boots
Brunt is awesome!! I run a 24 trophy plus on my merc 150 xr6. Does ok. Last owner installed the wrong gear ratio foot. It's a 2.0:1 , should be 1.76:1 I guess. So I want to try a 24 and 25 tempest and see how it does.
Champion 1999 191 tournament load. 150 vmax carbureted what prop would be best for performance. Tempest currently 23p sound to be lose bite and grab air and loose bite.
My boat is a 2001 Back Country by Champion 16’9”ghost with a 2001 90 Yahama 2stroke what ya recommend prop for that set up? Looking for topend speed was running a 3 blade 13x13p getting 33mph at 5500rmps please help lol
I run Suzuki. The Solas Scorpion prop gets the best top end of any prop I’ve tried, but I feel like it has a bit too much to lift, especially in the bow. Really makes the boat ride rough even in mild chop. I discovered that the Solas Lexor 4 blade runs much better on my set up. And I only sacrifice 1 mph. The only downside is it doesn’t have the exhaust ports so hole shots a little rough.
Running a 25m prop on my 1997 191 elite champ with a 200efi. Insane hole shot and by myself with all gear and half a tank of fuel 69-71 mph on GPS. With 2 guys about 64-66 mph.
Raker used it before like it. Now next it’s not the scorpion it’s neat has vents to solas Rubex pro L3 Power tech RKR. Now an oddball for 70-115 hp power tech NRS or a PTR power tech
So I run tohatsu and the props I run are powertech and solas. The dealer that sells them really doesn't run anything else. Powertech is definitely a decent performer and tough as hell. Takes a beating
I run 27p scorpion on my 250ss suzuki 921 pheonix . The that new crazy looking prop is interesting but i can buy a scorpion for $400 and that thing is $5000. I hopethe price comes down if they can up production but it should const no more than around $1000. I'd still love to see you guys test one on a bassboat though. Preferably on a suzuki
Tempest plus full plugs, 200 pro xs, 1875 Lund pro v. Great on rough days and hole shot is the best I have ever had. The Sharrow looks cool, not sure $5K cool but I would certainly run it if I get a sponsor 😂
I own a fury 3.. And a Tempest.. but the tempest is what is on my boat right now, and after swapping back and forth between the two over a summer. I stuck with the tempest because it puts my heavy Stratos 200xl up on Plane the fastest!! But the the Fury is exactly what it sounds like, Fast and really good prop! But I don't think you can beat the Tempest... I have a 225 VMAX hpdi on my boat. But particular to my boat and weight, The Tempest just gets it up and gone the quickest!!
Hey Team Marine, props should be selected by the boat manufacturer, if not then manufacturer needs to go to work and test different props to get their products to perform the best. Best is test with boat loaded. I think Skeeter/Yamaha has done that testing. I just wonder if boat manufacturer even take the time, I doubt it.
I run a 28 mercury promax on my pro max 225 .my little bullet 17vee runs 96mph ...hole shot is ridiculous...the big 20 plus foot turds buy the time they get on plane im gone😅
Razor 4XL by Mark Croxton is a bad ass prop I run one on my Skeeter went from 76 with the T1 to74 with the razor 4XL the handling is night and day difference
Ran a 23M once and thought I was on a hover boat😂 Literally worst decision I ever made not buying that prop! My boat ran faster than it ever had and handled great. Biggest lift of any prop I ever tried! Very heavy 2002 18ft Cobra Viper DC XR6 Mercury. Boat ran 63 mph without trying, full load two people. Currently running a 23 tempest plus. 59 mph most days. Maybe 60 if I'm going with the wind , half tank of fuel, livewell's empty
The sharrow is pretty cool and word is the new foundry for Yamaha props sate now producing the sharrow and Yamaha is really expanding on their prop department
Comment below on your Top 3 Props that worked best for you!!!
tempest plus trophy and raker II
Tempest plus

A45 Tempest hands down best prop ever made for a bass boat!
What about a laser 2? Thought that may have made the list
Eagle 4 blade from Hill-crazy lift and really durable! Thanks Andy! Honesty is really appreciated!
Tempest plus .. worked by Mark Croxton on my 97 champ 202 elite with venom 225 ❤
Raker was an awesome prop for sure. Made my lil Stratos get with the program and had a decent hole shot 👌
BRO LETS GOOOO! BRUNT is a absolutely BAR NONE HANDS DOWN one of the best boots in the industry that doesnt break the bank! break in time and quality is insane!

Great info who do u think has the best repair shops for Hp props
Great video on props. I have a Raker on my 40 yr. old v4 90 hp Johnson is still good with a good hole shot and mph top end. While I wish I could have a Sharrow prop they will not make it yet. Andy keep up the good work.
The prop cost 5k. Probably more than your whole rig

My new boat (to me) has a 125HP Mercury with a 20P LaserII Stainless prop. 1750 FishHawk SC. Pushes the boat 44-47mph at 5300rpm. It’s a runner!
Probably late to this conversation but i have a pro xs 115 with a tempest 24 pitch.....bought it used was told this was the og prop that was on it. Is this to much prop for the boat.... triton 179trx...hole shots good runs out at 45ish.......

The Scorpion and Bravo XS have been the Best on my Express X21 250 SHO . I would love to see test on a Sharrow prop on a 250 bass boat.
I run a 22 pitch Tempest Plus on my '24 Mercury ProXS CT 115HP bolted up to my pad hull '24 Lowe Stinger 178 with a 6" hydro jackplate. It tears it up at 52.2 mph. Will it even break 70 MPH with that turd on the back of it?
Well I was going to say the Lightning Series from Mercury Racing, but at the end you said you were not looking for those type of props. I will add the ProMax from Merc Racing and the Hydromotive Engineering Quad IV to the list. Always enjoy the videos
The Lightning ET is a bad dude for sure!!!!!
Any prop recommendations for the smaller HP outboards. Like the newer Suzuki DF75A?
What are your top 5 custom prop shops. Example Croxton XL ETC?
You need a team marine bass boat build. You could test stuff out like the Sharrow prop on it and do a bunch of videos using the boat as a test rig for everything you might review. Even the boots
I run a tempest plus 21’ champion 210 elite with 250 pro xs 2 stroke. Thanks for the videos!

how long did it take to create that wall behind ya, ha. Nice video What about powertech props?
I’m running a 25 pitch Renegade Bass on my 200 Venom right now. 1998 Stratos 201 Pro Elite.
I run a power tec 4 blade 14.5 25 pitch on my 2014 z8 with a 200 2 stroke pro xs and I’m getting 70 at 5600 rpm
Champion 1999 191 tournament load. 150 vmax carbureted what prop would be best for performance. Tempest currently 23p sound to be lose bite and grab air and loose bite.
Powertech TR04 was the best prop when I had my 2003 Pantera4 Optimax.

Lot of Bullet guys like the Merc Promax props, good holeshot and more topend than bravo1

I have a 2022 susuki 50hp tiller on a 1654 tracker sportsman grizzly...is it worth using a stainless prop?
I briefly used a viper on my etec, performed really well! But i dumped that etec
What’s your recommendation for 2017 zx250 with 250 sho? I had a T1 and turbo that’s has thrown ears
Raker used it before like it.
Now next it’s not the scorpion it’s neat has vents to solas Rubex pro L3
Power tech RKR. Now an oddball for 70-115 hp power tech NRS or a PTR power tech
What prop for a Yamaha 25 2 stroke? Need a new prop for my tin rig!
What prop would you put on a 2019 merc 115 four stroke that is on a 21’ pontoon?
Thanks, Scott
I have a 25M on my Yamaha 3.1L. I got a good deal on a Mercury High 5 and have that as a spare.
Love to see a Sharrow prop facility tour and a testing. Especially on a Suzuki SS, since you say it's finicky about props... 🍺🎣
Have a buddy who tried to get in on a Sharrow prop. It kind of turned into a disaster. Took the money and basically ghosted him.
So I run tohatsu and the props I run are powertech and solas. The dealer that sells them really doesn't run anything else. Powertech is definitely a decent performer and tough as hell. Takes a beating
28 bravo 2. 94 21xd Bullet. 2005 250sx . Gen 1 tourquemaster 1.62 gears. Great holeshot, midrange 85+ loaded 2 average guys light tournament load.
I run 27p scorpion on my 250ss suzuki 921 pheonix . The that new crazy looking prop is interesting but i can buy a scorpion for $400 and that thing is $5000. Go to sharrow and test on a bass boat!!
Go over the pitch on the props now on these 10 brands you mentioned.
What kinda prop would you recommend for a z22 ranger with a 250 Suzuki SS?
What would you put on a 2015 Ranger 118c with a merc 150 pro xs 2 stroke for best performance.
Mazco HP4 was and still is a bad ass prop.
I run a 28 mercury promax on my pro max 225 .my little bullet 17vee runs 96mph ...hole shot is ridiculous...the big 20 plus foot turds buy the time they get on plane im gone😅
Razor 4XL by Mark Croxton is a bad ass prop I run one on my Skeeter went from 76 with the T1 to74 with the razor 4XL the handling is night and day difference

what about a HYDROMOTIVE PROP!
Tempest all around best prop. Not for the go fast boats like stroker bullet or allison but for most other bass boats i’d say the Tempest.
Comme dab magnifique 👍👍
The best prop I've thus far is my 26" fury speed wise, next would be my 23" raker, and lastly, my 25" predator....
Tempest A45 is in the top 5 props Merc ever made.
I can see it now...Andy in his Ikon boat w SS Suzuki tons of electronics and sharrow prop... $150,000.... Andy... just go get one already😂

5 grand for Sharrow prop. Yeah dont think so haha
Running a Scorpion 27 on my Gatortrax with 300 Suzuki. Changing to lithiums this year, so I'm probably looking for some more lift.
Powertech makes great props also. Runs better on my motor than the Mercury props.
25 tempest
Sharrow is only $4k too.
The sharrow is pretty cool and word is the new foundry for Yamaha props sate now producing the sharrow and Yamaha is really expanding on their prop department
The trophy plus 4 blade isn't a bad prop either plenty of lift and handling good prop
