There was an internal japan comp, Tomoa slipped early during the lead and thus could not qualify for selection. But because of this he has been able to rest and prepare with specific lead training thus ended up winning the combined one too
Competitions need more technical slabs like M3. As a climber, it's my greatest weakness, and also gives me pure amazement when people technically complete a climb just like that
The real surprise was how well Tomoa did in the lead climbing. He has really improved there.
yea he has been training in his home gym, you can watch his youtube channel the TAMY climbing channel. He stays on par with Taisei Honma
That slab seemed kinda morpho
you sound kinda short
Looks that way, yeah.
How did they do the team selection? Why wasn't he chosen?
