it just sometime . when unexpected happen tis really shocking you. the family lost a figure of a mother and a wife who handle everything in car accident. i feel it when my sister got heart attack suddenly it really shocking me.

IMO this whole movie is about Hesher mentoring TJ. Since his dad is mourning and stuck in that cycle of self depreciation. Hesher teaches the boy to take risks and live life and live without fear, and life goes on, appreciate the ones still with you. The example the day was setting by laying on the couch depressed, it’s teach him to mourn a long time and dwell on it, till it eventually eats at you. And that’s a cycle that’s hard to break free from.

The only one that wasn't afraid of hesher or judge him for who he is was grandma. This is why hesher had some level of respect for her because she reminds him what he can become and what he's capable of. Hesher saw that and worked on being a better person.
Everyone suffers from lost of a love one or the lost of a nut. Only thing you can do is to fulfill the wishes of the dead if that means going for a walk with them one last time than. Fuck it u got to go for a walk with them.
This movie is a dark comedy enough said,who ever takes this movie seriously have seriously got some things that need to sort out 😅 who would just let some random dude come in to there mums funeral and man handle her coffin ?
