- Here is a compilation of some of the best acting scenes of all the time. Knowing the are so many missing, I'll keep uploading more compilation for all of you. Also, it is a subjective list, I don't claim it to be objectively correct, if there's such a thing.

that Manchester scene is HEARTWRENCHING. it's an incredible portrayal of grief, especially among two parties equally going through it, in their own way.
And that wasn’t acting from Michelle, it was real. We all know what she’s been through.
I would've hugged that old man at the beginning that was so sad.
Idk how Emile Hirsch didn't cry in that scene genuinely. That's great acting from that older gentleman!
@@Nikkola.369 Most powerful scene in the film arguably. Hal’s character had been through hell in his life and Chris had brought hope, serenity, and happiness back to his life just to watch it all slip away again. He knew Chris wouldn’t make it, most of us wouldn’t.
Oh god, the captain phillips scene - Unbelieveable acting. Tom Hanks is just amazing. The amount of realism is heartbreaking.

I so agree but also the female actress was also beyond belief she encompassed that moment between to two of them perfectly, she should have got accolades for that
Apart from all the beautiful scenes, what I loved most is Max Richter's music...he's a genius. Btw Manchester by the sea is my personal favourite.
That scene from Into the Wild always gets me man. 😭😭

Interesting fact-- the woman they hired to be the EMT at the end of of the amazing 'Captain Phillips' scene is a real-life EMT, not an actress. She rocks it, and I love that it seemed like she was doing her job for this heart-wrenching scene.
I wondered about that the first time I watched it. She was awesome.

I remember seeing Manchester by the Sea at the Telluride film festival. I remember seeing that one scene of Michelle Williams crying and it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. It might be the best acting I've ever seen. The police station scene also felt deeply painful.

5:48 increadibly subtle acting by by the female Medic she'd just told him to look at her a few seconds earlier, and he started looking down again so that very subtle tiny little touch under the chin to refocus him.. it's these little things in movies that get me
She's not an actress she's a navy medic in real life. I bet she was buzzing to meet Tom hanks!

Barkhad Abdi was amazing in this film as well, and TOTALLY deserved his Oscar nomination, but let's face it: Hanks' performance did a lot for Abdi's and I will always feel uneasy about Hanks not receiving a Best Actor nod for his turn in this film.....**

@@callmebill8982 In case you haven't noticed, almost every single 'best acting' compilation on RUclips ONLY features male actors' performances, with maybe one clip of Meryl Streep thrown in at the end if we're lucky. This is the only video I've seen recently that actually includes actresses. But thanks for assuming I'm sexist....

Why is the background music so loud?!? It's nicely chosen, but sometimes I can't hear the actors speaking!

I mean... I love Max Ritcher, but I think the scenes are already dramatic enough without the music in the background. There is no need to overdramatize them. Also it's too loud
