I didn't know this either, but I also live in Pittsburgh which back in those days, unless it was a doubleheader day on CBS, if the Steelers were playing at 1pm, whatever the 1pm game on CBS wasn't aired and the 4pm CBS game was on in this market, but the plus side to that was that after the Steeler game, my mom would always switch to CBS unless there was a really good game on NBC at 4, so I got to hear alot of Pat Summerall and John Madden as a kid.

Awesome! Great to see a game at old Tampa Stadium when Vinny and Wyche were there. They had something going there that could have developed into more wins and overall success. I like Dungy and have nothing but respect for what he did as a coach in the NFL but these Bucs teams under Wyche had potential that never quite materialized in their favor :| Well, the memories from this clip will last us for eons..
I wish someone had highlights from the Bucs/Chargers game in 1992. It was a loss, but I was in SD at the time. Then for the 2016 game, I watched from Duffy's and thoroughly enjoyed myself!

I have this game on vhs. Tampa won 13-3 on the way to a 3-1 start, but they finished the year 5-11. This would be the last Packers game Brett Favre didn't play in until 2008.
You see Brett Favre before he became the "Brett Favre" we all knew and loved for years! Can't wait to get him back into Green Bay so he can have his # rightfully retired among the other Packer greats!
Is this the infamous first appearance of Favre game? Pass complete to himself? I came here looking for the NFL Today intro. Thank you for uploading this. Haven’t found it anywhere else. It’s funny that this was against Sam Wyche, and next week against Sam Wyche’s old team. He was a good coach. The Buccs were scrappy with him but just couldn’t get anywhere in the toughest division ever - the 90s NFC Cemtral.
this is the day the legend of Brett Favre was born, Majkowski got hurt in this game Favre came in and Majkowski never got his job back and Favre went on to be a Hall of Famer
Cin Nordlaw It was the game against the Bengals at home, where Favre came in for Majkowski, and started his consecutive games streak. This was the game (against Tampa Bay) that Favre made his first completion (to himself though).
I think he only did it part-time, as many NFL announcers only work select games because there’s fewer of them. He was the longtime announcer for the NJ Devils, and didn’t call a national NHL game until the NHL on FOX in ‘95, I believe?
This is when the Bucs got their Uniforms changed Bucco bruce got 25% bigger and more detailed. Orange pants with orange trim on the collar. The best ever....I hate when they changed them.
