If you ask me, the Night's Cavalry Set is realy easy to miss and is one of the most beautiful sets in the game.

Night's cavalry armor (+ maybe helmet, can't find a better looking one) + fire prelate greaves and gauntlets is my go-to combo, it does exactly what I need a fantasy game armor set to do; it makes me look like the witch king of angmar. The all knowing helmet comes close, but it's too ornamented and just doesn't look quite right
If you like Malikeths armor but not his helmet the Nights Cavalry helmet goes nicely with it.

Yes do that. And don't level too high for the area. Really messed me up. Way too over powered
plus NG+ adds no value other than give you a chance to get missed questlines. there is a bit of shaming going around about not rushing the finish because in previous souls games NG+ added new items, bosses, and moved enemies around to change up ambushes.
Same I took nearly 200 hours on my first play through. Finally after that went to new game plus since I missed the gold mask quest
After farming the banished knight in Caelid for hours, getting 20+ copies of the set and none of the "rare bits" from the video, I went hunting elsewhere. The halberd-wielding banished knight down the stairs from the Stormviel Castle Rampart Tower site of grace has given me three helmets (altered) in about ten kills.
Cant you just alter them yourself?
@@DustinLittlefield No. That's one of the few sets that you can't alter. You have to find the alternatives instead, like the Fire Prelate armor.

Well i farmed that knight for a long time just to get the Banished set only got the normal set he wears.
The unaltered banished knight armor is gorgeous and worth the farm. From the boss grace in castle Sol, head out toward the elevator, there is a platform to the right of it. You don't have to approach the knight with the wolves, just get a bow and snipe him. He will teleport to you. Don't leave aiming mode or move until he teleports, otherwise he might just walk around and not come.
Finally the banished knight set gets some love!! I've been running it (I like it with scarf better) for most of my playthrough and feel special because I never see anyone else in it lol
I have both the banished knight's helm but I completely overlooked the armor variant in Castle Sol. Still, my armor of choice is Old Knight Istvan's Scaled Set with the banished knight's scarf helmet.
Castle Sol chest + Scarf helm is perfect. But IMO the boot is kind of funny.

I have to 2 playthroughs of one with the banished knight with the cloak for my strength faith build and my other build rocking a moonlight greastword with the altered banished knight with the long white hair. very cool looking 🔥
I loved the banish knight set in ds3 as well it looked great with the brass color of the metal.
I am almost sure the Banished Knights only drop the versions they wear, so you can only get the unaltered (cape) chestpiece from Castle Sol.
Also farming the ingredient for the silver pickled foot is so time consuming that you're better off just farming the items you want directly (high arcane and the silver scarab talisman are A LOT more impactul), if you have a few just save them and use them for the most annoying enemies to farm, like the Watchdogs and the Gelmir Snake Mage. You can buy some from merchants.
My favourite is definitely the Tree sentinel set u get after the chariots crash together in one of those Hero graves. its so shiny and golden and looks bad ass

5:13 from what I can gather, Godskin Apostles and Nobles were servants to the Gloam-Eyed Queen, the original possessor of Destined Death, who led a hunt against the Demigods. Marika sent Maliketh to assassinate her and seal Death away.
The Gloam-Eyed Queen is only a mentioned figure and doesn't appear in game.

@@katonryuka ranni uses the fragment of the death rune she stole and uses it to make Melina and the black knife assassins who killed Godwyn and sends Melina out to find a worthy tarnished to help her in her quest to bring back the death rune to lands between and bring the age of stars where the lands between us no longer ruled by power hungry Demi gods and no longer under the influence of the greater will. If you choose to become the lord of the frenzied flame Melina becomes destined death and is a reincarnate of the gloam eyed queen which is why her left eye opens at the end and also explains why she shares so many similarities with ranni because ranni uses a piece of her soul to create Melina because ranni doesn’t have a body form because when she died only her bodied died and when Godwyn died his soul died but not his body and became and eldriech horror which is what we see underneath stormveil and in the the deeproot depths with fia and the lichdragon.
@@katonryuka I think that's just a misunderstanding of the circumstances in terms of Ranni's role in the Night of the Black Knives and her status as the wielder of a Cursed Rune of Death as she said that she stole it from Maliketh, and also the entire piece of history about the Gloam-Eyed Queen and her death under Maliketh's blade most likely happened before Ranni was even born

@@arachbae4777 my personal theory for the entire thing is Marika planned everything from the start, from taking away Destined Death from the Gloam-Eyed Queen and bringing it into Maliketh's possession, to the conceiving of Ranni, then subsequently Melina (I also subscribe to the theory of Ranni and Melina two halves of the same being), after she turned into Radagon and married Rennala, to the shattering of the Elden Ring at her own hand (the opening cinematic even showed Radagon and her alternating between themselves, her trying to shatter the Elden Ring and Radagon trying to mend it, most likely under the influence of the Greater Will to do so), then to her passing on her mission onto Ranni and Melina (Melina even said she has to finish a mission given to her mother inside the Erdtree). All of this is for the two of them to spearhead the assassination (Melina's animation and moveset is exactly the same as that of the Black Assassins, the group that carried out the assassination) of Godwyn, shaking the world with the first True Death of a demigod, causing a power imbalance, subsequently sparking scuffles between the rest of the Demigods and leading to the Shattering war. All of this to eventually lead to grace being given to notable Tarnishes, those who will arise and rise to the challenge of felling the Elden Beast, essentially an emissary of the Greater Will, and to become Elden Lord, then to (possibly) have Ranni and Melina lead an uprising against us to bring about the Age of the Stars themselves; either that or they will help out Ranni in goal of bringing about the Age of the Stars (although personally I think they of this to have been very unlikely, as throughout her quest she's always been extremely skeptical of us, only viewing us a convenient tool to complete a task at hand, then passive-aggressively shooing us away after we're done out of over-carefulness - she even comments on the importance of caution in the Lands Between if he lie about not having Torrent when we first meet at the Church of Elleh). The Age of the Stars is important because it basically entails that Ranni will create a new order that will still envelope the land with its ideals, but unlike the Golden Order, one that will not have as much of influence on people's minds, emotions and subsequent fate (think about, the guidance of grave is basically like gaslighting someone into doing what you, in this case the Greater Will, think is right, do this enough times and you'll essentially have brainwashed everyone, and that seems an awful lot like what's going on with everyone so hungry and desperate for grace), then she'll pluck that fate out of the Lands Between, essentially giving them free will to do whatever they want, then travelling into space. That's their end-goal, from Marika to Ranni-Melina, they're trying to sever the influence of the Greater Will upon themselves (Ranni killed her Two Fingers by her own hand) and subsequently everyone else.
Btw Khraze In the snowfield at night there is a chariot and at night it’s guarded by 2 black rider mini bosses and if you kill them both without dying u get that black knight armor set and it looks amazing. Definitely recommend getting it u won’t regret it for sure.
At night time of course. They aren’t with the caravan during the day.

I run the chest piece and malikieth gauntlets and greaves with the sanguine Noble Hood. Looks sick!
@@neda9438 I also found a cheese to beat them. If you pull 1 at a time then just run around avoiding his attacks eventually the chariot will get far enough away to bug him. He will lose his aggro and start walking slowly towards the chariot and allow you to hit him abunch of times without retaliation. He will aggro again every 5-10 hits and you just back away and he bugs again and loses aggro. Eventually he dies and you do the same to the next 1.
The Scaled Set, with raging wolf helm, has really grown on me and is up there with the Beast Champion and Nights Calvary for my favorite sets.
For those who thought a youtuber knew what he was talking about ( like myself ) and wasted time in Caelid or elsewhere farming for the unaltered chest piece STOP! The unaltered chest piece only drops from the red eyed ghost banished knights in the far north snow area of the map at the Castle of Sol.
After farming the knight in Caelid for a good at least 2 hours and getting nothing but the usual Altered chest piece, the regular helm and numerous shields and greatswords and so on i was reading the comments. Sure enough i went to Castle Sol and farmed one of the red eyes knights like you suggested and got both the regular chest piece and altered helm in a short amount of time. My banished knight set is now complete thanks to you!
Yeah, I went through the same mess. Thankfully I just said to hell with it and went to Sol, since the knight was wearing the caped set like I wanted.
I've killed that black flame monk guy 30 times and he hasn't dropped squat but the fire butterfly.
not entirely true, i got the altered banished knight armor from Caelid, over at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion, got it quite fast ( i was probably lucky), but it definitely is possible!

Caelid banished knight doesn’t drop unaltered chest piece, only unaltered helmet and altered chest (and shield and sword). Wasted about two hours finding this out.
I really like the Fingerprint set, reminds me of DS3 fashion. Which imo was the best of the series,Ds2 being just as good with the heide knight set and some really cool mage sets, especially if you include the staffs.
I mix the banished knight helm with scarf, depraved perfumer chest, with briar arms and legs.
Another one of many combos I use is Navy hood with beast champion armor.
Good Place to farm the eagle foot ingredient is the "Below the Well" site of grace in Siofra River. It has ~5-6 eagles right near it and you can clip them all with Radahn's swords and some effort. Loot, sit at the grace and repeat.
The Black Flame Monk's chest piece is probably inspired by the Giants. The Fire Giant has exactly that same face in his stomach and it is believed that Trolls had it too but it was removed from them, which left their stomachs hollow
Most armors that are default or altered can be changed via Boc the seamster or on site of grace "alter armor" option. All it does change the looks and some statlines, while also reducing/increasing weight. P.S. if some armor is too heavy for you, alter it to remove cape, which usually removes like 2 weight.
Id be stumped if people didnt know how to alter their clothes at this point.
@@Tangerator I didn’t know that it did indeed alter stats and weight. I saw the option and was excited but all it really did was remove the cloak for most armor.. which was disappointing so I didn’t use it.
I would rather DIE than remove the cape of ANY armor. Infact I would level 20 more levels of endurance if I had to, just the keep the cape than spend 500 runes to remove the cape. FASHION RING OR DEATH!!!!!!!!!! YES I HAVE A PROBLEM.
@@brandonjustus9954 I don't detect any issues here, FashionSouls has always been the true endgame once you've gotten reasonably gud and won't die when bosses sneeze in your general direction.

I’m not sure why a cape makes me more resistant to staggering after being fuckin stabbed, but it does, so a cape I will have.
just sharing, im building a knight sword and greatshield build and now i have the banished knight set (the one with the scarf/hoddie) i really digging the fashion on it, its like i really am a *tarnished* knight making my way up top, and when i reach the grand elevator the aura of a knight just explode
Don’t forget to use the Silver Scrab while farming too, raises your item discovery up quite a bit and if have the Silver Tear mask, use that too. It’s puts 8 points in arcane.
There is another mask that ups discovery. It’s an invasion chick. Her mask is white braided hair with a mask.
add marikas Sorseal for an extra 5 arcane
edit: and if you really wanted an extra 10 arcane then activate the elden rune that gives stat boosts.
I wish I could have the depraved perfumer cape with a different chest piece, be nice if capes was it's own slot haha.
I made a Moon Knight build built off the Dark moon greatsword rocking the beast champion armor altered, banished knight altered with the long white hair and using the twin greaves and twin leg armor. Fashion Souls is the best souls.
Fire Monk armor can be farmed in Liurnia. There is one camp on the shore to the south of the Scenic Isle Site of Grace, and then there are also more Fire Monks to the north-east, I think it was between Church of Vows and the Frenzy Village.

Bernahls set you don't need to complete the volcano manor questline.. I am on ng+ and I killed rykard immediately and bernahl still invaded in crumbling farum.. for anyone that may have been wondering

1:50 You can shoot that knight from the hole in the wall from the grace and he will teleport up to you allowing you to just kill him right at the grace, reset, and repeat til you get the superior Banished Knight set.

I love the unaltered banished knight set. The horn on the right shoulder always struck me as silly, so the scarf covering it makes it perfect.
You can farm Firemonks armor set, just directly south of the Scenic Isle Site of Grace in Liurnia, there is a Firemonk camp with two Firemonk NPCs, as the Site f Grace is so close, they're easy to farm, this is how i farmed the set and quite frankly it is one of the strongest sets in early game.

It's an objectively weird design choice that there are some "altered" versions of armor that you can't alter yourself. I have no idea why they'd do it like that.
I agree, but I kind of get it. It probably feels like more of an achievement when you find the unaltered version, since it's only farmable maybe it's meant to feel like it validates your dedication to farming. I personally don't care much for farming, if I don't get it within 30-40 minutes I'm just gonna move on

I picked up the beast champion set on this character a few days ago, but I only tried it’s alternate version a few minutes ago, before clicking this video. I saw in the preview that it had a cape, but damn it looks gorgeous in game.
If you take off Bernhals set off and redo the altering and take the cap away and then put it back it changes to a different one with more design on the blue cape. Not sure how many other pieces have alternate- alternate looks but I thought it was pretty cool
I haven’t found a set better looking than the Night’s Cavalry set. I use the Skeletal Mask. This is my favorite set. Thanks for another great video.
All full sets have a passive use for instance. Knight Bernahl set let's you run across lava without slowing down.
are you sure ALL full sets have passive? on the wiki there is only 6 full sets that give passive and all other sets its only the helm or chest that give passive. Pretty sure wiki is not all updated but i would be surprised if ALL sets have passive.
Common misconception about black knife set is that you need all pieces in order to mute your sound.. just need the chest piece

I’m rocking currently blaitz gloves, the death bed companions hood ( I don’t remember her name ), carrion knight chest, and the all knowing boots, looks really neat and you can swap the head piece for any armored or hooded piece you’d like

I’m 260hrs in 36 achievements out of 42 so far. Still lots to do (not really). Thank you so much for this. Already finished (I thought) “crumbling area” and would’ve missed this armor set. This completed my all legendary armaments achievement.
You can get the Fire Monk Set in Liurnia also near the Eastern Tablelands grace point there is a Fire Monk camp with one Fire Monk and nearby is also one roaming with his buddies. The armor is gorgeous especially on a female character and you can get it immediately if you go to Liurnia by using the side path next to Stormveil Castle. You might want to use a bow with bleed arrows to farm them or level up your damage so the farming goes a bit smoother since they have a good amount of health, but they are slow. 🔥
The area around the Church of Dragon Communion in Limgrave is a good place to farm Four-Toed Fowl Foot. There are also silver fireflies in the Costal Cave
I got all of them but never tried to alter the beat champion set. The cape looks sick. Finally I heavy armor I can wear without giving up the drip

You can also get the Flame Monk armor set from the monks near a Flame Cult camp in Liurnia of the Lakes. The Eastern Tableland grace is close to there.

im guessing banished knight (one with cloth piece on legs) is from sol castle ? as i farmed one at dragon cath and also storm castle but didnt get one with cape or skirt/cloth on legs.
I would like to nominate the nomadic merchants finery (altered) with the nomadic merchants chapeau (its matching helmet) the all-knowing gauntlets and Raging Wolf greaves
My favorite absolutely is the altered beast warrior set that you get from the warmaster shack... Something about that blue and white with the jewelry on it just looks badass

I love Bernahl's Beast champion set, i got it super early on and am now a couple hundred hours in and still rock it, I didn't care much for the helmet on it so I switch that out. Did you know if you go to a grace take the chest piece off if u have it on, alter it so that you remove the cape then exit out the grace then put the chest piece back on then rest again and with it on alter back so u put the cape back on it will now have a completely different design on the blue part of the cape! But it only works if u alter it to take the cape off without wearing it then alter it to put the cape back on while wearing it.

The best place to farm fowl feet for crafting is the Divine Tower of Limgrave. If you have any Silver Pickled Fowl Feet, I suggest using one right as you exit the elevator chamber. You're almost guaranteed to get more feet than you lose.
I just do the beach at the start. Warp to the cave and run all the way to the guy sitting by the fire. You'll get like 25 birds to kill in a couple minutes

Cleanrot set with red scarf for me. I replaced the arms and legs with the tree sentinel since it looks similar and has better stats with only being slightly heavier.

I got my Banished Knight set from the Halberd (that's what I really wanted) Banished Knight that patrols the lower lift area down the stairs from the Rampart Tower grace.
The godskins and fire giants allied and went to war with Markia Godfrey and a few of their children thats why the armor has a face that resembles that of the belly face on the last remaining fire giant. This is also why the altered version is flame based
There's another, much earlier location for the Fire Monk set about 5 seconds east of the Eastern Tableland site of grace in Liurnia of the Lakes.
I don't think this one is part of the lesser known armors but the Hoslow's set is gorgeous too !

I just discovered, that the prelate greaves+ gauntlets, hoslows armor and gelmir knight helmet give you decent(73) poise with bull goat(a worthy sacrifice for the bling) and a dark-metallic grey and red knight color scheme.
The duelest cape is fire! Hands down my favorite!
fingerprint armor set is the best hands down. I usually used a black hood with mine instead of the typical knight's helm but it rocks hard either way.

Banished Knight armor only drops from the corresponding piece they're wearing.(altered or regular)
Don't forget the Fire Prelate set with the butt slam ash of war if you want to cosplay as Smough.
You can also get silver scarab talisman when on your way to Consecrated Snowfield.

The banished Knigh from Cailid and the one from Stormveil Castle only drop what they are wearing
I spent 3+ hours trying to get the Banished Knight set at the Dragon Communion Church and got nothing but the altered set. It took me 5 minutes at Castle Sol to get the Helm and the Chest piece (unaltered version).
I think Khraze is wrong about unaltered version dropping in Caelid. If it does, the drop rate is miserably low. I farmed these guys for hours (In Caelid) to get the Unaltered Helm (The one with the babushka scarf.) I got multiple altered versions of the chest, but none with the cape.
I did the same without luck. Think he got his info from fextralife instead of firsthand

You got some info on the banished knight set wrong you can only get the unaltered chest piece from the banished knights in castle sol and can only get the unaltered helmet from the knights at the cathedral of dragon communion in caelid (you can probably also get the helm at faram azula but it's easier to get it from caelid) that's where I got my set and I found that the easiest knight to farm in castle sol is the dual weilding knight that can be found from the church in castle sol (where you get eclipse shotel) if you go out the door like your going to fight the boss go right and you should see a ladder climb that and run past the cross bow men and jump onto a nearby roof then down onto the walk way where the knight is located, he will know your there and will teleport behind you so make sure to use a weapon or ash of war that can stun lock him and does good damage (radahns swords or godslayer greatsword work perfectly for this), it might take a minute to get the set because it has a 2% drop rate but you'll get it eventually
After hours of trying combinations I think I completed Elden bling. Banished knight helmet with the hair. Carian knight chest. Godfrey's Elden Lord bracers. And Loretta's legs.
If you want good looking armor just use Lionel's armor. It has good stats AND looks EPIC. Its my favorite set in the game

I think at the time he did the Video the Altered Banished Knight were maybe glitching about 2 patches ago dropping both sets
The altered Lord of Blood armour is one of the best looking. Using it with Malekiths greaves and gauntlets as well as the Black Knife Hood. Great for dark mage using black knife or bolt that shoots red lightning.
Beast Master set you can get early at the warmaster shack. If you kill him you get it however you may lose out on a story
Most importantly you can’t get the raging wolf set

Definitely going to get that fingerprint. There is another set on the plataeu in the snow area that looks really coold. Kinda has a more armored Varre vibe to it. I can't remember what it is called, but I am going to get that one, the fingerprint, and then farm the unaltered versions of the banished knight helm and chestpiece. Working on my Elden Bling!

@@Ch0ntrol Thank you! Yea I picked it up last night. Gonna go take on the Ever Gaol tonight, and then I will probably farm that jerk outside of the Dragon Communion temple in Caelid to get the unaltered versions of the banished knight. I was murdered so many times trying to fight him.
When I first entered Caelid I was very under-leveled and made the mistake of exploring East instead of South from Limgrave. I might have been level 20 or 30 when I first ventured that way.
I swear I farmed the Dragon Cathedral spot for an hour and only got multiples of the Altered Chest piece and Scarfed Helmet. I don't think the other helmet and chest can get farmed there...
