    Douglas seemed like a genuine guy. Saw him on the Mike O'hearn videos. I didn't even know Douglas had his own RUclips. He passed away to early in life. I hope he is in a better place.

    If Douglas starts investing his time into these RUclips videos more often, his channel will explode as well as his training course because he gives great information and I watch every big bodybuilder with a RUclips channel.

    Hello Doug - great video with valuable tips. Flawless exercise execution is actually an art to see. I would like to ask you how often you train each muscle group and how you combine muscle groups in one workout (antagonists like chest and back together or agonists like chest with triceps, back with biceps or one large with one small group). Thank you

    • @douglasfruchey4133
      @douglasfruchey4133  10 месяцев назад +1

      I play with all those combos.. chest / shoulders . Shoulders/triceps. Chest/biceps back (thickness) /hamstrings are all faves of mine

    Question regarding DB Row:
    I have always had difficulty connecting to this exercise despite proper form. I started to experiment with the DB position. I notice if I hold the DB with a prone grip ( like a barbell) I connect much better. Also took that a step further where I start with prone and then twist so my elbow is parallel to my torso at the top. I seem to feel my back - lats much more this way. I also think the one arm cable rows are probably better than DBs since there is continuous tension.
    What are your thoughts on different techniques with the DB row?

    • @douglasfruchey4133
      @douglasfruchey4133  10 месяцев назад +1

      I do dumbell rows with both hand positions, but I don’t like the twist while pulling, because I feel like the shoulder moves too much when we do that. If you keep the shoulder joint in one position, you should in theory feel the lat more.
      But I always say, feeling it is the most important, so if that’s how you connect with your lap best go for it bro

    In your opinion, what causes the pinching of either a muscle or nerve when doing the behind the neck pull downs? Is it using too much weight, or getting out of position?

  • @gregorykennedy-troy9778
    @gregorykennedy-troy9778 10 месяцев назад +1

    I notice you don't do pullovers with bent elbows. Is there a reason for this Doug?

    • @douglasfruchey4133
      @douglasfruchey4133  10 месяцев назад

      I like bc the straight arm on the cable, just feels like I get better stretch

      You think?? I’m curious what you would replace outta these moves with free weight

    • @marc2638
      @marc2638 10 месяцев назад

      Lmao wonder what you look like bud 😂😂 criticism from someone should at least come from someone who’s at or more advanced than the person they’re criticizing don’t you think??? Secondly,,,,,, weight is weight resistance is resistance doesn’t matter if it’s free weights or cables but we can sit here all day and cherry pick which one is better and which one has the advantages. As a lifter myself I love both cables and free weights I do what I can with free weights and some other exercises get the cables as long as you have a slow full range of controlled motion and a connection to mind and muscle you are working your muscles. You don’t seem very smart either the to you want to use is TOO not to 😂 so I know you’re just some small person low self esteem keyboard warrior knocking other people’s success because your jealous and don’t understand it’s all on YOU!!!! No one else,,,,,, you want to look better take this man’s advice and hit the weights stop punching nonsense on the keyboard
