You are so right there's so many articles that are coming out now that it was Taylor Sheridan's fault how can I work with something that I have no script to work on Taylor sheraton's fault was not Kevin. We also have to remember there was a writer strike for a year and a half how did Taylor Sheridan get part of his script written he doesn't do it all himself he realized on others to do it for him so the bomb that has happened Taylor Sheridan's fault not Kevin there are more articles coming out about what happened that was Taylor Sheridan's way of not having the scripts ready on time for Kevin and the schedule so let's stick with Kevin please because he's telling the truth. And if you know anything about him he said so so I believe it also hurt his feelings at the same time

Not being ready when Costner was ready and people can’t work just once a year that’s unrealistic and just not even sustainable.. and Kevin Costner has his own hopes and dreams. And it’s been a dream of his to make the horizon series for 30 years. He believes in striking when the irons hot. And the iron was hot a year ago! So he made horizon one because Yellowstone scripts were not ready they were messing with his money who can blame the man. Don’t we wish that Mr. Costner could’ve stayed with Yellowstone.? Unfortunately Yellowstone is dead in the water without him.
    John Dutton is the why.
Everyone else can not carry it without him. Doesn’t matter who steps in.
Horizon I enjoyed very much, wish it was longer. Lots of character building in the first one.

Explaining John Dutton's sudden absence will be really tricky. I wonder if they pulled a Darren and recast. Not the worst idea if cast well.

I really love him. I enjoy his moves ,I like his style. He is one my favourites.
    I was hyped about horizon.
    But it was a mess.
Never had the time to get in touch with the characters. Some stories dragged too long while other stories had little time.
I truly believe that they messed up the editing.

So he’s a pain in the butt? He told them when he was available for Yellowstone shooting. They agreed on a time. He took a break from “Horizon” to shoot his parts on Yellowstone, they weren’t ready. He couldn’t wait all year to get a call “Hey, Kevin, we’re ready to shoot now.” Because he was making his movie. That’s on Taylor Sheridan not him.

You should’ve given the Yellowstone fans closure, Kevin. A final season. Something. And you know it. What about the contracts of the people in Yellowstone to whom you’d made your commitment well before Horizon? Not many people get a second chance at fame after losing it, but you did, and Yellowstone put you back on top. One day, this ride will all be over. Will you regret the way you walked away without tipping your hat to the Yellowstone fans who loved you?

"Gutted" is right, Yellowstone was one of the best shows ever, maybe the best. What about his obligation to all the Yellowstone people and fans to at least wrap his character arc up? Its kind of karma that Horizon was a box office disaster, it was never meant for the big screen anyway, that kind of multi plot show is best done on something like Paramount or Netflix.

The last season of Yellowstone jumped the shark. That's why Costner said he "thought" it had good writing. It did. Until it turned into over the top SWAT/cartel level violence. Sheridan should have wrapped it up coming full circle with the 7th generation going back to the Indians instead of all this Wall St stuff. I thought that was the way it was going. Now 1883 is his Masterpiece, and I hope Horizon will be Costner's. About time we had proper American West stories again.

  • @insaneapples1559

Unbelievable and such poor management of the show by Sheridan & Paramount to do a half season, leave everything and everyone in virtual pause, then have Costner walk away and not return for the second half. It will make absolutely no sense to not have him there to wrap up what's going on. How can they even explain that away? Will not be watching it again.

Incredibly disrespectful to the fans of Yellowstone, honestly, to just give it up this easily. He says that these 4 movies he's making are gonna live forever - my man, Yellowstone was on the verge of going down as one of the greatest TV shows in history, that's living forever for 'ya. In 15 years chances are that people won't be talking much about Horizon. You blew it with Yellowstone, what an absolute shame.
