Of all the characters on Yellowstone, Kacey and Monica have the most real on screen relationship on this series. Both characters (and their son) add a tremendous amount of realism and the variety of what life gives us. Without going into the character developments and replays of the show, I believe people can understand the complexities of a husband and wife from two very different backgrounds and still make their marriage work under the stresses of western living and troubles making a livable wage. You have to be a person with a strong will and perseverance to make a serious go at it. These actors do a tremendous job of providing that view to us on screen. They help make this Yellowstone series worth watching.
At least one important scene is missing: When their son was kidnapped, she asked Kasey not only to get him back but to kill the kidnappers. That's the point when she realized that she's not that different at all.

so many people say that she is toxic, shes been though so much, people deal with trauma in different ways. she shuts down when she gets emotional.

the hospitial scene was heart breaking. This show was so good at showing emotions though the screen. I have cried so many times to this show with the music and the acting
I love how he shows love to his grandson!. It's beautiful!
Yaaa.. think that would happen in Real life??? I can testify that it doesn't, with more than a dozen living real life examples, and in all economic spectrums. White men look at Native children or grandchildren with the greatest of shame, and OBVIOUSLY so.

For all that this show is frequently batshit insane, occasionally you get a grounded moment like the graveside chat between John and Monica where the writing and acting come together perfectly.
Whatever people saying, I like Monica just like I like Beth and Lynelle. So different yet equally admirable in their most human ways. Sometimes, a girl just wanna watch a good series with some solid characters and Yellowstone delivered.
I like them all, too.
Whatever she thinks about John & Beth is, they really nice to her and glad she started to realize that in season 5

I lived where John learned the baby's name and when he talked to Monica at the baby's grave. It brought back a very sad time for me, but said how we manage to continue.😢
It must have been painful for Dutton to hear his grand son says that he had a brother and his parent named him John. He took it as they named it after him...
So glad to see she didn't die running in the snow!
At 8:00, Beth reminds me of the posters I saw at the Metro stops in northern England between South Shields and New Castle. So many had women with bruised faces. They were public awareness posters because domestic violence was so common in northern England. Down south, apparently not as much.
Reading a lot of comments about Monica saying, "Oh, she's whiny" and "she's mopey". Need I remind everyone that her brother was killed in the first episode and that her sister committed suicide in the second episode?
What kind of psychological damage would that do to you if you weren't used to it?
How would you react?
Or, the bigger question: what if she was acting out as a mental response to those traumas?

Yellowstone character Monica looks great in her middle length hair but a smaller hairstyle correction Monica would look even more pretty with a bang or A-line Bob hairstyle could be a real eye catcher on television screen.

Her sons and her own life is at risk every day she’s at that ranch con Ma, and she needs to get her self and her family out of there because John’s and his daughters decisions are doing this family getting them into so many messages. Let’s not forget also that wolves that were killed on the ranch aee from the national Park and they’ve been found so who do you think they’re gonna trace those dead wolves back to?
