reading their Crime and punishment. love the print and binding.
Everyman's Library has become my go-to when I can't get a rare or antique leather bound edition. However I did not know about the colour coding.
Wow! U really know what you're talking about. U cover all the basics, use choice words, and describe everything perfectly. Well done.
They are my favorite premium line of books. I like their dust jackets, but bare, they are so pretty.
The following bookstores have LOTS of Everyman's Library editions in stock:
Gorgeous collection! Thanks for this, now i know where to start with collecting <3
I'm sold. I'm sold. This will be what my wife gets! Thank you so much for you video.
I have the city stories collection under Everyman's Library. They look great on the shelf, the selection is also top-notch and the quality of these books are unparalleled relative to the price.
Everyman's Library is available at our new BookCravings Amazon Influencer Store, with some other books/editions we recommend:
I’ve been thinking of starting an Everyman’s collection and this video has convinced me to go for it!
I really enjoyed this video! Very informative, very clear, and you explore many relevant aspects of how these editions are made and what they contain as well. Thank you! You have a new subscriber :)
For all the reasons you mentioned, I love them. I have about 100 so far myself
The books look nicer without the covers.I only wished they had explanatory notes like Penguin and Oxford.
I own the complete works of Shakespeare, published in eight volumes by Everyman's Library. It is perhaps the best multi volume edition of Shakespeare still in print.
I have approx 35+ and I too agree with all that you say. I have searched out others out of print too. Love them and fine presentation once more!
I fully agree- I have over 30 EL editions. They are perhaps the best in hardcovers. But two caveats are in order:
I have to say, the quality is amazing for the price. I'll be considering these editions.
Thank you for this video. Very informative. I am new to collecting. I think i will replace all my classic paperbacks for these books. Thanks again.
