That Forcefield was to kill literally any tanky build on its second charged. Disgusting. That said, the Yoyo is the real MVP these days. Anything with a Charge system needs a longer cooldown. In fact, most items need a longer cooldown. Make every time 2 seconds slower and see where things are at. Combos are too crazy without investing more in lowering their cooldown over the course of a run.
I don’t really watch your videos outside of the occasional check-in, as a battlegrounds addict, I don’t have time in my life for another cardgame, but I’m happy to see you doing well, maybe even better then at the end of the bgs era view wise at least. I had a Vanessa build, full of shield and a poison match box and beat a forcefield that was critting me for 29.000 DMG. And then lost to a treb build that crit me 3 times in a row with 4% crit chance while freezing my turtle out of 8 items.
The other day i faced a Pyg with a 80 burn matchbox from the start of the match. i was wondering how that was possible and then in my next run it hit me with the burn item vendor. Burning Lemonade Stand gives it +1 burn per small item you sell its actually nuts. between piggy banks, gumball machine and the gumball event i stacked it up in no time.
Hey Kripp, or anyone who has the answer, could you explain why you buy some items that you are not going to use? Especially wondering about that heavy ice cream truck yoh bought then sold again two hours later... Thanks
He got the heavy icecream truck for free from Pearl. He only grabbed it to sell it back for a good chunk of money (since it was free). He acknowledged that the gold radiant giant ice club was better if he was going to do that.
Not Kripp, obviously, but I hold items in inventory a lot. In this case, it was a free item so it’s just for gold. You hold onto it as long as you can in hopes of selling it to a vendor with bonuses for the item size. Often, you’ll also want to hold onto items with combo potential or that need tier upgrades or scaling to not suck! Keeping more options open gives you the best chance of hitting something good.
Also some items are good econ or combo potentials/scaling. For example the belt would be good if he got a level up option to increase hp (although its pretty rare now so I don't do it anymore). Or when he buys briefcase to get the coins that then buff his augmented.
8 seconds is brutal, especially since it gives your opponent plenty of time to start up their scaling or burn and take down your shields. And if they have slow, it might not even activate one time before you die
I want kripp to play streams where he plays other peoples games after they have fucked everything up and tries to save their build. not at all because i've done horrible things to my pig run

Forcefields 4 seconds compared to the shields 8. Better for burst.
