the long speech about how experience sometimes not having an impact immediately but always having value in the future sounds like a metaphor for actual experience in real life
However i noticed when watching kripp he often doesnt take it in situations Where the alternatives dont seem really strong to me either. Wondering if he maybe changed his opinion about xp
This was awesome. I'd even be down to see this level of deep dive for the same hero multiple times, too. So many branching decisions warrants tons of discussion. Cheers.
Amazing video Kripp, the emphasis on experience throughout the entire run ending in an exact level up to 22 right before the final fight was just poetic.
Great video. Writing down what I learned to help plaster it into my brain. 1. Risky event often gives monster fight - I’ve only taken this once and it gave me little so I’ve avoided it. 2. When trebuchet is good to play around. 3. The value of leveling, how to maximize experience per day, and rewards at levels 20 and 21. 4. How to play around weather glass. 5. Burn deals damage 2X fast as poison 6. When to buy skills, when shops offer certain tiers of items and skills based on level 7. How aggressively to search for Astro/Star chart early game. I already valued these items for docks highly but wouldn’t have retooled where kripp did. 8. Mosquito can be defeated with 0 items day 2 9. Viper kills at 25 seconds 10. Drone and viper are only day 1 fights that are loseable
Tip about the monster encounters: There's already a mod for the game available on Nexus mods just for that ! It enables an overlay that shows the monsters' HP, skills and items when you mouse over them. It works great and it's really nice to not have to switch to another screen every time-plus it's convenient for your watchers if you stream.
I've seen a lot of the Bazaar videos on this channel and this is the most useful of them, very much hope to see more because "overexplains" will be instant clicks.
I’ve been watching your videos for a while and never comment, only enjoy the content but I have to say this was the best explanation on how to play this game and 100 percent increased my knowledge on it. I started playing the bazaar when I watched a few of your videos and thought it looked interesting but really struggled in the beginning. But after watching this over explanation, I’ve gone from being cagey of playing ranked and not getting out of bronze to pushing out of gold tier and trying to get to legend before the rank reset. Thank you so much for doing this and I hope you plan on doing more for the other characters! Love the content!
This is so great. I learned so many little things. I didn't know that with thr skills and it's actually bad to take them at bronze level. Didn't know how the enchant works. Like it's doubling the value, when which items can show up. Didn't know about the port event with star chart or astroglobe. Just to name a few. And I wouldn't even know where to look such things up
Thank you very much Kripp! This games has a lot of information that can help you make decisions, but are not available (for example, which levels you get upgrades), so a video like this is amazing.
It’s obvious this could be popular! Slay the spire over explained is always a crowd favorite in that community. They cracked that road to success years ago as long as you have sufficient expertise. They can be tiring videos though, so thank you Kripp for the video!
This was awesome kripp, knew most of this but its great to have confirmation and explanations. Would love to see the other and future heroes once released
I'm watching this late, so you've definitely already heard this feedback, but this is amazing. Please do more! Doesn't even have to be for specific characters. Just hearing all the insight, and especially the reasoning for it is so valuable. I would literally pay for more content like this. I almost never comment, so the fact that I am, should add weight to how good this is. If your partner is at all interested in the game, maybe you could do a video where she is driving and you're coaching, might lead to scenarios you'd never find yourself in but might be common for new players.
@21:02 this crit vendor actually sells one of the best skills imo for Vanessa, which I haven’t seen show higher than bronze, called bloodhound. Charges your all items by 1/2/3/4 seconds when you get the opponent to 50% hp. Not sure why he sells it but it’s an incredible boost of power early and will lock in easy wins on early days with a decent weapon build
This game actually looks so fun just from the viewpoint that there are so many moments when i’m watching these videos where I think something is gonna go down one way then it goes the opposite. Very exciting to watch. Can’t wait for it to come out on mobile!
Thanks for this. Most I already know from playing and watching your games, but it still gives a good perspective of how to choose what to play and how to be opportunistic ❤
This is a fantastic video, reminds me a lot of Trump's (hearthsone trump obviously) content when he would play HS, explaining all of his decision making out loud so newer players could learn and see what he sees
Thanks for the video! Finally, an informative and useful video for those who do not have the opportunity to play and beginners. And not the constant rapid poking of cards without the audience being able to read their abilities.
I learned so much from this video. In my first game after watching it, I had an incredible economy and got my first 10-win game. The game has changed quite a bit since this video, but much of it still applies. I’d love to see another one of these at launch!
This is incredible, I played a couple of hours and only got one win out of like 10 games, I don't know what I'm doing wrong etc etc. 3 minutes in I already learned something new. This is gonna be eye opening huh
As someone who is planning to play this at full release, this was very helpful! Watching your stream is helpful and entertaining as well, but it's too fast-paced for me to follow sometimes. More of this!
Great stuff, I always enjoy videos like this. I always wonder where he gets that extra information the game doesn't tell you espeically early in a new game. Like that the large items vendor has only about 7 items. Or the internal cd of items. Just from other outside the game ressources? Where else do you get this knowledge?
At 48:13 - how do you know thats a special vendor with limited items? like I understand kripp knows from experience but it has to be a lot of these cases, like it was a ammo skill vendor at day 3 for me that had 3 gold skills, shouldnt be possible but he didnt have worse :P is it a list of this? a wiki
You can beat the day 1 wasp, without any items. If you have no items on your board, his skill doesn't activate because you have no items to slow. Even if you do, the sandstorm will kill both you and the wasp at the same tick, so you still win. Go into an unranked dooley game, pick friend core and go into kyver drone. You cannot lose irrespective of which weapon he buffs with his skill. So yes, kyver drone is actually unlosable
How do you have so many options? I am new to the game and often only have 2 to 3 choices in my shops. Also ive been watchi g guides and trying to improve but its like by day 2 the PvP enemies have full gold items and decimate me.
Thank you for showing a run where sometimes you just cant win the match ups. I feel like im stuck at Silver runs many times based on running into broken overpowered builds one after another. I know i have a lot to learn about wheb to pivot out of a build but it just seems like some runs are doomed from the start.
skipping the astrolabe was a wrong choice, it would have fixed the rng haste problem and give you the space for a poison item. It would have given you full haste uptime on the weatherglass even at 1s of haste
I recently got into this game and even after playing it following guides and shit, i still cannot do 4 wins in ranked at least. Its so hard and frustrating that i'm prolly gonna quit in it. I have no fun playing it
in the first game i build a cannon/trebuchet/dock burn build, i reach 9 wins and got 1 shot by some sky scapper and lose to someone perma-frezze my cannon. 10/10 game tho
Reroll being a noob trap is extremely accurate because I learned very fast how often that ends up screwing you over if you get overzealous. What I really liked about this video (when I was watching it live) is it was just a seriously good example of how every little choice he made mattered.
it is weird because in first few patches, it wasn't a trap because you had opportunity to hit REALLY good items but really good items got nerfed so now a days, skill vendor is overpowered and needs to be heavily nerfed because it is not even choice to go to vendors to upgrade your items, your are strictly throwing after like day 7-8. there is like 0 pivoting going on right now in end days. there is essentially nothing overpowered in skills in the early days meaning that there is never a choice to go skill vendors early and there is no odds to get something better in real vendor in late games. So every over-explained video is following 1) Setup your build 2) Prioritize exp At low roll events 3) LOOK for skills at all costs after day 7. when the game is as flowchart as this, there's kinda of a problem with decision making. the game should not be so flow chart where everything is obvious noob trap. it will force everyone to play same way.
the long speech about how experience sometimes not having an impact immediately but always having value in the future sounds like a metaphor for actual experience in real life
Great comment!

However i noticed when watching kripp he often doesnt take it in situations Where the alternatives dont seem really strong to me either. Wondering if he maybe changed his opinion about xp
@@mortuc1 this was when the level up xp option gave 2 xp and now it only gives 1
WOOO this was awesome Kripp, please make more of them.
I have a good grasp of vanessa by now so i knew most things but am about to unlock the other champions would be awesome to have a deepdive on those.
A weatherglass build with training level explaining is something I will never say no to. Weatherglass is satisfying when it comes together.
Great video. Writing down what I learned to help plaster it into my brain.
1. Risky event often gives monster fight - I’ve only taken this once and it gave me little so I’ve avoided it.
2. When trebuchet is good to play around.

Damn I wish you would have time stamped this :D I want to know about trebuchet!
And what do you mean wirt 7? retooled?
@ oops RUclips autocorrected rerolled to retooled. By reroll, I meant reroll shops in early game for 3 gold
I appreciate this so much. Please do more or even do an updated version after some time

this is great. more of this!
had to come back to this 2 weeks later after i fully understood the game. great fuckin video. helped me out a lot as ive never played games like this.
Literally your best bazaar video. More please
the lose mmr was a pretty funny touch at the end. That video was great!
I've seen a lot of the Bazaar videos on this channel and this is the most useful of them, very much hope to see more because "overexplains" will be instant clicks.

Excellent video. You explained it well and demonstrated (and got lucky) with how your choices make long term and short term impacts.
I remember watching this in the stream. It was wildly helpful. Looking forward to seeing it again to hopefully pick up more information.
As a 4-7 win andy. This was the single biggest level up content. Amazing stuff
I’m used to watching NL for building my Bazaar gamer knowledge. I was hardcapped at “trebuchet silencer crow’s nest” 😂-Great vid Kripp!!
This is so great. I learned so many little things. I didn't know that with thr skills and it's actually bad to take them at bronze level. Didn't know how the enchant works. Definitely love the overexplained! Keep it up Kripp!
This is what i need! It's so hard to learn the little mechanics and all the "rules" such as what can show when
This might be the best video you have ever made, Kripp.
Well done and thanks for sharing your mastery of the game!
I just picked up the game (in no small part thanks to your videos and streams)
Excited to watch this! Let the yapping begin!
Love these overexplains, please do more!
watched this live was great, very helpful!
This was awesome kripp, knew most of this but its great to have confirmation and explanations. Would love to see the other and future heroes once released
Would love a video like this for the new patch, since sooo many core mechanics have changed.
Amazing video!
I watched the entire thing!
thanks for finally uploading it !

Thanks for this awesome insightful video! Learned a lot, would watch more of this kind on all heroes and multiple times on the same hero!
This game actually looks so fun just from the viewpoint that there are so many moments when i’m watching these videos where I think something is gonna go down one way then it goes the opposite. Very exciting to watch. Can’t wait for it to come out on mobile!
Going into the game's open Beta this type of videos will be so useful! Please make one for each of the other heroes as well!
So amazing, I can't wait to play the game, I was waiting for open beta, guess I have to wait a little more, better save this guide, thanks kripp
Thanks for this.
Most I already know from playing and watching your games, but it still gives a good perspective of how to choose what to play and how to be opportunistic ❤
Fantastic content really appreciate the insight would love more of this
This is a fantastic video, reminds me a lot of Trump's (hearthsone trump obviously) content when he would play HS, explaining all of his decision making out loud so newer players could learn and see what he sees
Loved this one. Love the faster videos too.
Love this, would love to see more of these!
Thanks for the video! Finally, an informative and useful video for those who do not have the opportunity to play and beginners. And not the constant rapid poking of cards without the audience being able to read their abilities.
This was amazing, learned so much. Love these vidoes
😂 loved the *whoo* at the end, way to go!
This video taught me that Day9 is a vendor in the game
fantastic video. id love to see more of these.
I love explaining videos. Could you return your "How good is" video format?
"Biggest boat of all time. That is the biggest boat i have ever seen in this game" floored me. 😂😂
Very next ranked Vanessa run was 10 wins. Really helped my understanding of economy items.
This is so good, thanks for this
Love this long speech run, do it more if you can. It would be very useful 😊
this was great, I discovered 80% of these myself, but would have never discovered the last 20%
thank you mr Kripp
Very informative video. Thank you
I learned so much from this video. In my first game after watching it, I had an incredible economy and got my first 10-win game. The game has changed quite a bit since this video, but much of it still applies. I’d love to see another one of these at launch!
16:33 you actually can lvlup in between hours if you go to main menu and resume, you'll get lvlup just before the next hour
This is incredible, I played a couple of hours and only got one win out of like 10 games, I don't know what I'm doing wrong etc etc. 3 minutes in I already learned something new. This is gonna be eye opening huh
Best video - very informative - more like this please
As someone who is planning to play this at full release, this was very helpful!
Watching your stream is helpful and entertaining as well, but it's too fast-paced for me to follow sometimes. More of this!
Took me like 3 tries to get through the vid but it was so worth it
Time to make some lunch and learn a thing or two. Thx Kripp.
Would love to see more vids just like this for pig and dooley as well
More over explained runs would be awesome
There is a third item that gives you the extra event at the docks besides star chart and astrolabe called sextant
2:18 Skipperino
Love how even under and overexplainer video the top comment is still the skipperino
Awesome run
Great stuff, I always enjoy videos like this. I always wonder where he gets that extra information the game doesn't tell you espeically early in a new game. Like that the large items vendor has only about 7 items. Or the internal cd of items. Just from other outside the game ressources? Where else do you get this knowledge?
brilliant content, thank you!
1:10:00 would've went cauterize for some safety not that it'd be too crazy against Vanessa's
Informative video though.
Great Video. Thank you for that
When did they stop giving a skill at start?
its been a while
When’s part 2?😂
This was a great run! Also, (spoiler)
the loss of MMR at the end was diabolical lmao
What is the crown with the bar that shifts when you are about to pvp?
At 48:13 - how do you know thats a special vendor with limited items? like I understand kripp knows from experience but it has to be a lot of these cases, like it was a ammo skill vendor at day 3 for me that had 3 gold skills, shouldnt be possible but he didnt have worse :P is it a list of this? a wiki
does this guide still this good on the new patch?
Great video, thank you!
thats a perfect run to overexplain

Just watched this video and got my first 10 win, Thanks Kripp!
kripp really is an olympic level gamer
I still don't really understand what he was saying when deciding not to enchant the weather glass with poison 1:09:45
Thank you for showing a run where sometimes you just cant win the match ups. I feel like im stuck at Silver runs many times based on running into broken overpowered builds one after another. Awesome thanks !!
skipping the astrolabe was a wrong choice, it would have fixed the rng haste problem and give you the space for a poison item. It would have given you full haste uptime on the weatherglass even at 1s of haste
with trebuchet you can gain haste for weather glass before you use it first time + large use burn buff
Enchanting the harpoon with poison over the lamp makes zero sense to me
Right? I still don’t understand
I recently got into this game and even after playing it following guides and shit, i still cannot do 4 wins in ranked at least.
Its so hard and frustrating that i'm prolly gonna quit in it. I have no fun playing it

Why he adds 24 to each weapon damage?
Burn damage is B x (B-1)
Harpoon is a tool even when it’s not enchanted
amazing vid
"KRIPP explains what the best play is but always picks something else"
😅
Can we get a Bazaar tier list?
Lots of great information in here and a terrible fumbling of an astrolabe that was objectively a bad play. Overall great tips though.
