The difference being he is only picking the chocolate to scale his skill, the hp is pretty useless because of glass cannon. He also needs gold to be able to buy and scale his iron sharpens iron, or buy a diamond skill. Different situations. How come NL stopped streaming bazar?
Level ups and skill changes are great, vendor changes are great too. If they can tone down charge as it should have lower %cd reduction than haste since its more powerful, and buff the level ups that only give gold or items, I think the game is in a perfect place.
I haven’t seen many people say it and I know it was mentioned either in the patch notes or in Reynad’s rundown as something beneficial for the future of the game, but I really HATE how slow the game is now when clicking on stuff. I hope we can get the game back to where it was last patch in that sense.
Oh I getcha. Tho, one little advice, when clicking on the middle option for level up (gold and a loot item), click gold first, and then the loot item. Doing it the other way makes the animation for clicking on gold much longer in some instances for some reason.
I think with triggers, the issue is "critical mass", because they moved ALL the passive items to work on a trigger/charge system they ended up creating too many possible infinites, if they just made it say - half and half- then stuff like matchbox or whatever wouldnt be as oppressive
the issue isnt "proboscis triggers when you slow when its diamond" the issue is that proboscis gives you a trigger which triggers marbles which triggers yo-yo which triggers...., its that activation cascade that is the problem, and that cascade is there because you have too many "when you use an item, charge this" items that themselves get "used"
@@notarealperson8956 yah i really dont understand why they moved away from some items having passive effects that trigger, they had their own place in the game and like you had mentioned having all these activatable item triggers is definitely causing the infinite combos to become far too easily accessible and even stronger by being able to crit. My guess would be that perhaps they were seeing that the internal item cooldowns for the passive trigger abilities were somehow going to continue to be a probably going forward(ie items bypassing the internal cooldown under the right conditions) and they decided to fix that by changing everything to be charging items but I think that just causes this new balance issue going forward. Hopeful they will get things under control at some point, i do like that they are trying drastic things to test the waters in this closed beta period at least.
I felt like they did it so improving items felt worthwhile, but went to far or over corrected because now you almost have to pivot into an infinitive build and get lucky shoips so you can upgrade steadily
@@notarealperson8956 yeah, but also stuff like matchbox and turtle shell being charged by EVERY non weapon item feels a little too much in general. I like the gameplay that comes from limitations like e.g. adjacency bonuses. When items can go wherever and still be optimal, then the game becomes flat in terms of skill and strategy. Making those items require adjacencies would go a long way in balancing them.
Dooley is currently my best winrate hero against infinite combos. The Dino-duo can pretty consistently be had now that the friend shop can be rerolled again and having both of them really crushes infinite boards.
I had the shield at start skill and the triceratops monster skill where you shield like 10 whenever you use an item. My diamond but unenchanted bushel instantly started looping at the start of the fight
Pyg has some of the most insane bs ive ever seen this patch. Just 1 hour ago I fought against a pyg with shielded yoyo, shielded vineyard, shielded weights, shielded bushel a matchbox and marbles. I won't even ask how they got ALL their items to shield enchants but as soon as fight started they were already going ballistic on the shields
42:45 Kripp has extremly mid build, 0 prestige, 70+ gold and can roll all of that for a chance at a get out of jail free card from pearl and he chooses PANTS?????
@@dr4gonbl4z3r Oh i totally agree that would be correct choice if his build wouldnt have been so ass at this day. He got extremly lucky that he got matched with other really really bad builds on day 9-10. Any avg day 9 build would have ended his run there
I have an idea how about if potion are enchanted they get the other potion effect so if you enchant a potion with haste you essentially get the haste potion plus the original potion effect, and one extra ammo if you try to be fancy with it
Maybe we could add proc chances on item, like 50% chance to charge 4s. It adds some rng but would still make highlight moments while retaining fairness over longer fights.
Saw someone do a sub+eel+dam build that crashed 90% of builds out there. only susceptible to quick heavy crit builds (you know, like say a hasted brutal boat ;). extremely effective against current infinite builds. that said, I find it quite hard to maintain an interest in "builds" in a game that is changing as quickly as this one is.
20:24 Dooley is definitely a LOT weaker this patch but Bellelista has been a very powerful weapon every time I've tried it in a companion core setup. Seems to be just fast enough to beat the meta charge decks in my experience, give it a shot
Charge galore is the name of this update. Charge to infinity is cute if you have to jump through fiery hoops to make it happen but nah, wheres the fun in that, right?
The meta heavily tilts towards Vanessa. She wins the early, mid, and late game consistently. Pyg basically needs fort to beat Vanessa but is still consistently strong until them. Dooley either gets ballista with friend core or loses.
Hilarious that his "best boat ever" lost twice. Still, best boat I have ever seen as well. I can't think of anything that could beat that beast on day 15.
“Wanted poster has no value anymore” immediately has a haste enchantment available. Turbo poster says “start of fight haste 3 items for 3 seconds” so would have been better than the tank. Selling is basically the last thing you do before fights or as needed at a shop.
after watching so much NL it feels so strange seeing kripp take free chocolate instead of gold when he has a billion gold
LOL but definitely true. Kripp brings the W’s, NL brings the vibe.
Ah, a fellow NL refugee after he quit streaming The Bazaar
The difference being he is only picking the chocolate to scale his skill, the hp is pretty useless because of glass cannon. He also needs gold to be able to buy and scale his iron sharpens iron, or buy a diamond skill. Different situations.

@@momoaa from what i heard he stopped streaming because chat kept backseating
Bronze chocolate just tastes better

Seeing him get the perfect combo to freeze and kill that deadly crook build that seems to kill me every other run was so satisfying

@Mattiasthesecond yea, I get that, it adds a lot more granularity to some items like yoyo or tripwire, but I just think it's a bit much as is.

So funny hearing him talk about the build of that pyg at the end which got absolutely obliterated
The infinite bushel shielded for almost 1,600 in the time he dealt 23,000 damage. This is NOT ok
Dooley is currently my best winrate hero against infinite combos. The Dino-duo can pretty consistently be had now that the friend shop can be rerolled again and having both of them really crushes infinite boards.
Yup dino dooley stopped my infinite shield/burn. I think fort still wins though
I think that final pyg, the shield at start for him triggered his bushel loop instantly, which I didn't even know you could do that is insane
Oh yeah if I ever get a shielded bushel I always fish for defense grid at skill vendors.

He's already committed to the Flagship. He needs money for skills instead of throwing it all away for a miracle at Pearl.

Kripp haiting dooley only for him to have a considerable higher win rate xd
Krip doesn't consider anything below 10 wins really "winning".
Duly crushes early but rarely can compete in the much later days to secure the 10 win.
27:24 the boat

37:25 - selling Shovel to Midsworth. It costed only 4 instead of 6, not a visual bug.
Medium bronze items cost 4 to buy and 2 to sell. With a bonus of 2 gold from Midsworth Kripp sold shovel for 4.
"Dooly is bad"
Dooly currently with the highest winrate (around 60+%, while Pyg and Vanessa are at around 40%) chilling.

i wonder how the game would feel of u could see ur ghosts board before you start
you'd end up with a bunch of new ghosts that are countering the meta, right?
I think he's sleeping on the barrel even at bronze it grows so fast - with small aqatics works well and is fun with the claw.
Damn that last build just need fort and it would literally never lose.
Waiting for open beta here 😂
Btw why he remove his bored in first boss encounter?
That enemy gets attack when it slows, if you have no items for it to slow it becomes too weak to beat you.
@benhudson6582 oh i see thanks 😊
Wow what a build!
20:24 Dooley is definitely a LOT weaker this patch but Bellelista has been a very powerful weapon every time I've tried it in a companion core setup. Seems to be just fast enough to beat the meta charge decks in my experience, give it a shot
what are those shakes that kripp drinks?
Make they should make it so on day X you always get a Diamond vendor so you have a oppurtunity to pivot into a different build
I feel like all the defense scalers have already won their 10 games by the time this gets online
Charge galore is the name of this update. Charge to infinity is cute if you have to jump through fiery hoops to make it happen but nah, wheres the fun in that, right?
7:00 wouldnt needing 3 or 4 items to get the loop mean its more rng?
like rather than it being pretty easy to hit make it more consistent than needing all the stars to align and proper high rolling on some combo?
They should do charge as a percent instead of straight 1 2 3 seconds
Uhh, the thumbnail is of a Sniper build, not a boat one.
Lets just pretend it is
I thought his best boat build was when he had icy scope + boat + deathknight skill.
The meta heavily tilts towards Vanessa. She wins the early, mid, and late game consistently. Pyg basically needs fort to beat Vanessa but is still consistently strong until them. Dooley either gets ballista with friend core or loses.
pyg can go infinite pretty easy.
i think like 40% of charge items should just get a nice +1 second to cooldown as if they were all Bonked
Dont touch my boy hamlet, hes been behaving
"I can crit the pearl"
Prove it
Pearls are my favorite defensive for vanessa
Anyone can explain why he always drinks from a baby's sippy cup??
'Cause he's a grown ass man that drinks from cups he likes.
I had iceberg, giant ice club, shield bash, double weapon damage. 10 wins easy.
Wait a minute!!!! This isnt hearthstone!
50x4 is 200, not 100.
You forgot to apply blorthags mathematical principles. 50x4=100
Yeet delete build
What is happening? This is the weirdest game ever.
gottem
Hilarious that his "best boat ever" lost twice. Still, best boat I have ever seen as well. I can't think of anything that could beat that beast on day 15.
Anyone else miss Hearthstone Kripp?
I doubt that most people watching are yearning for a return to hearthstone. Especially given the state of activision blizzard.
“Wanted poster has no value anymore” immediately has a haste enchantment available.
Turbo poster says “start of fight haste 3 items for 3 seconds” so would have been better than the tank.
Selling is basically the last thing you do before fights or as needed at a shop.
wanted poster is not a tool whoever so the boat would only have 3x instead of 4x
You are correct. Thank you. I did miss that.
Dooley is so broken btw, he is always my 10 wins ender together with instant boulder proc Vanessa.
