Greedy pigs. As proven by the micro transaction nature of uniden scanners since this radio and how the 325p2 used the same junk case as the 75$ entry model and has the same lack of frequency coverage. Uniden has become a joke.
they should have done like whistler the sd card is on the right side of the radio no were near the battery or possible damage from a bad battery or battery acid damage like my pro668 made by whistler.
Hasn't anyone heard of TWEEZERS yet? But I agree with some post below: I've come to the conclusion that Uniden has forgotten who uses these radios the most: not the "radio buffs" who listen for the sake of listening, just waiting to hear a new Talk Group, but many who actually have to "take action" on what they hear on that radio, whether it be fire buffs, media people, volunteers, and even paid people who like to know what's going on. And radios with these cheaply made, but critical parts, are not conducive to "taking action" if the radio falls apart on a run. Nor is the way one has to even change frequencies while moving or driving. I'm waiting for Unication to straighten out the P25 Phase 2 trunking system, but will lay out the money for one when it does.
bxbuff I reported a bad accident on I-95 to local media.Hey wereairlifting four critically injured survivors to a trauma center in West Palm Beach.I called the newsroom of a WPB television station.I told him what I had heard,and told the news director Infigured they had paid monitors listenning for stuff like that.He said”We do,and I am going to find out why I am hearing about this from you ,instead of someone we’re paying”.We talked a little more,and he thanked me,and asked me to call when I heard breaking news.So far,nothing else to report

Who is the genius that signed off on that R&D ? On my Whistler scanner I was able to remove and insert the microSD card about 30 times in 1 minute !

Any advantage to go from a 32GB 48MB SD card to a 32GB 90MB SD card? If advantages what would they be?

It annoys me to no end making it so damned flimsy. I love the scanner but that cardholder sucks!
