- Hello guys! Kieran here, just a quick gameplay video of a Spanish stage in the Peugeot 306 maxi. Tarmac handling feels a lot better in DiRT 4, and I'll upload some more videos to show this in the future :)

You actually have to stop to the Marshall...huh, so much for blasting through the finish as fast as possible and not worry about stopping lol. Actually, that's a pretty cool feature.
S386LWBNM yep it really is quite a nice feature but it doesn't affect the game at all. You can just do anything after finish and nothing happens
@Due Legende why would they even add this feature then? And here I was thinking they would actually make a better game...
For those that play it as a simulator, it adds a sort of realism instead of just an end screen.
Its ultrawide too! looks great :D. Oh man I cant wait to play this.
I await the release of dirt 4. looks like a entertaining game so far.
Actually... I know Grist is a legend and all but I prefer the voice in Dirt Rally so much more
- Pyro - i know right, Grist just sounds so robotic and calm... wheras the Dirt Rally dude is so energetic. I also noticed that he has more complicated pacenotes but maybe that has something to do with the complexity of the stage :/

great driving :) disapointing shadows in the game. they aren't fully rendered until a certain distance from the car, you can see light spots appearing in the shadows as he gets close to them. other than that, looks great.
Shadow mapping and tessellation looks way better, and actually some AO on the foliage and shrubs. Which I'm glad to see after watching all the console play.
I have almost the same setup except a GTX1070. What resolution and kind of frames were you getting

I love every thing about Dirt 4. But one big MASSIVE problem with the physics. THERE IS NO THROTTLE OVERSTEER ON THE RALLY CARS !!! Its like racing on rails. The 01 Impreza handles like FWD.. Why did Codemasters do this???

after finishing the game on hardest level (whatever it was called), I can say that dirt rally was like 3-4x better game.
reasons:
handling is like a liquid soap, not real at all.
respect for N Grist but co driver calls suck major dick!! I have it on the earliest and still he will call corners after I already needed to brake. Major let down.
also it is too fucking easy, completed it without restarts or recoveries....definitely not worth 50 eur, maybe 20 eur like these shit WRC games. Total letdown.
