A better path is Vikings early game (troop load bonus is good early game) China/Britain/Germany Mid game. (Britain and Germany for training speed. China for building speed as the time for upgrading builds up Choose what u prefer) Late game just choose the civilization u like

Use Vikings because the attacks are increased by 5% 10% of troops load and 3% counterattack (they're not useful for developing a great power unless if you're a guy who crusades everyone)
For me I picked the Ancient Roman Empire(Rome) as my starting civilization and in the middle of the game I changed the civilization into the Medieval Roman Empire(Byzantium)
Sorry for late but Vikings is a bad first stage civ I recommend going to china or France Rome or Germany for your next (Germany and time for attack china for builds and France for resources and healing

During your video there was an advert for RoK that was talking lots of rubbish. It said Britain’s longbowman can take out enemies from really far away, and that Rome’s infantry has lots of formations? It seems the narrator was just making everything up from looking at the - non-gamelike - footage.

When I started the game I chose Rome and when I reached ch 16 I switched to the Vikings and when I reached kvk 3 and got civilisation change from the egypt event I switched again to France

Just saying but a 5% building speed boost isnt anything crazy early game. 5% of an hour is 3 minutes, so until you're like level 10 this boost really doesnt help at all. Not to mention that there are other ways that you can get building speed boosts that allow you to play as other civs that are just better than this 5% boost anyway.

Same lol, I read they were great at attacking but after I chose I realised beginners should avoid attacking as much as possible. U do have an option to start a new city tho. U go to settings then go to character settings and create a new city. U can switch back to ur other city if u want.
Hmm Britain as it will offer you more troop as it will decrease the training spped by 5% and in Britain it will increase the archer attack so if you have El Cid spaninsh holy lord then it is quite beneficial....
I got the game for about a day an i have almost 70k power (ik its low but i dont spend money on the game) thats with just china atm but i plan on switching later on once i start advancing more
I am so stupid that I start with rome for no reason, change to Spain because 10% exp bonus, then change to Germany finally. A cavs player with 46M power with no T5 😂😂
