Just rewatching this in February 2021, the guidance here is still extremely relevant and on point. Your kvk season will come faster now, and I’d recommend looking at Alexander the Great as a top tier legendary. But otherwise I’m still very happy with this guidance.
I'm at 15M power, and most of this was stuff I already knew--but I had to learn it the hard way. I'd probably be at 20M, at least, if I'd known this ahead of time. Really solid info. There are a very few things that I'd do slightly differently, even if I had the chance to do it over, but NONE of this is wrong.

Tip: for Free to play, don't invest in fight commanders on early part. Invest in gathering until you have t4s. For me 70% of damage come from troops rather than commanders. When you have t4. Invest on Sun Tzu and scipio for open field. Don't use statue on Lohar.
On peacekeeper commanders, you can go from 1 star to 3 stars just at level 10 by preloading but not quite reaching two stars then loading it over the top to 3 in one go using the star bundles. This will let you take a second commander while still only at level 10

This might be my tenth time watching this video. Just hitting 20 million, trying to make sure I'm still on the right track. Any chance of an updatet to this video coming. Given all the recent changes, might be a good idea.
My favorite thing was the simply-stated order in which to level up Epic commanders in the beginning. Your advice for buildings is spot on .... except, I don't think you get enough value out of resource production buildings early in the game when those resources are better spent on other things - build your factories when you have extra resources and nothing better to do. Advice I heard recently is to spend XP books on gathering commanders at the start and let your Epic commanders fight the barbs for XP because they're better at combat, anyway. Once you're gatherers are leveled up, you can switch to spending XP books on Epics. One thing I'd like to see you discuss that I've never seen you do (unless I missed it) - when it is better to stop leveling a commander (level and talents, not skills) and move on to the next one? For example, Sun Tzu might be well worth upgrading to level 60 before spending XP on the next commander while someone like Eulji might only need to get to level 50 or 55 before the XP is better spent on the next commander in line to be leveled. You must spend more XP for higher levels so what is more efficient for commander effectiveness?

One thing I would add about researches - as a 21mil player, I saved my Herbal Medicine lvl9 along with my CH25 upgrade to be done for MGE Stage 4 (Power Upgrade). Am also saving my speedups to then go through Chisgule's recommended researches to do as many during Stage 4 day as possible. Just an idea :)
Best thing to remmber: 1. Use speed ups ALL of them on research 2. Stop building that give you power which will be useless in battlefield. 3. Don’t spend gems on castle or tower, get vip, wheels, speed ups. You will get books and arrows with a time.

@@markjonilalolod6966 Always try to unlock each of the commanders if possible, so you do not struggle later and by unlocking them get 10 gold heads. So unlock richard.
I'm a F2p with the exception of small initial investment with long term returns hence boudica as he mentioned for xp boost I also bought the £1 legend pack before I found this channel as the general has a xp boost also I'm wondering if it stacks with boudicas

Check out lost kingdom 76, 1623, 1618, and 1624 vs the rest, 1623 were enemies with 1624 but were suddenly betrayed by kingdom 1620, 1623 were desperate so they formed an alliance with 1624, pass 5 will open later, the carnage will be massive.

Im already 2million only and kinda 1month playing Rise of kingdoms and i love it i always do traning,builing and researching something and always gathering rss and runes for some buffs and our kingdom is already finished in the lost temple we are only waiting for kvk and i earn 50k power everyday which is kinda not that powerful but thanks for the tip
Why would you incur any tax liability by transferring resources instead of moving all your farms troops outside of the city and then just zeroing your farm and taking the resources that way? Yes, you'll loose a few garrison troops, but they are a small price to pay to not incur the taxes. What do you think?

Yes.. Chis.. Commander power up is the most important factor... For development...if u go boost ur comds from early on.. U will face difficulty though u have high powers

I consider myself as a low to mid Spender and the things I would advice for people with equal amount of spending: get a 5511 and an expertised legendary during that time(optimally plus mina). Plan your 3 to 4 marches for open field which you will use eventually in Kvk and decide based on that which epics you should level and which legendarys you pick to invest in. At 15 to 20m (not reached with extensive building) start using universals for training as well(don’t try to win mge. Use smaller events where you can combine building and training) to get a good amount of troops to start playing a role in Kvk in open field as well at 20 to 25m power(depending on commanders and tech). Don’t plan with 5 marches for the open field. You won’t have the ress to heal consistently and you should always have one or two slots open to help in rallies and flags. If it’s possible in your kingdom, consider to relax a bit more during Kvk 1(only filling some rallies and no open field since you need a lot of rss for building during that time) since Kvk 2 is generally more fun and you can’t fight hard every Kvk if you want to grow during that time as well. Good video chisgule and all have fun during your journey in RoK ✌️
The only thing I disagree with you is the wall. In my opinion you should not invest into wall commanders during that time if you are not a really high Spender since you get rekt anyways doesn’t matter which commanders you use on the wall. Later in the game you will have more than enough xp books to put a good garrison on the wall instantly as soon as your city is „defendable“ and you feel strong enough to take a rally and not shield instantly
Good commanders in my opinion are Expertise ysg and 5511 Richard for example. You can use Mina/cc Richard/Charles or Richard/sun tzu and aethelflaed/ysg for open field pretty early for example and do decent on the battlefield
So my question is what are some prerequisites for joining in on kvk. I know that the lowest level barbarians are 25 so that's a decent gauge for how ready you are, but does anybody have any other ways of gauging how ready you are?
I was a player in a starting kingdom 1197 and none of this comanders exist. After the Rok decided to delete the Accounts I had there because I need to stop playing (THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT). Now in a new starting kingdom NONE of this comanders exist. They started with Caesar for the mighty governor and now Martel. So how is this possible to achieve?

The way I transfer my rss is attacking my farm while troops are gathering which leaves no one in the city the spam attack and then when I'm done I just repair and stop the burning

I was looking through your videos and couldn't find a guide to basicly understanding Kvk. Rules, honors points, commander roles, as well f2p and p2p roles or guide lines in Kvk. If there is a full video of learning about Kvk could you point it out to me.
Not every other building but the watch overs are the biggest problem. For that we need to have too many arrow of resistance. That’s the biggest thing to upgrade.
F2P - Save everything you ever receive. farm like a maniac. Only spend your farmed resources. Hit barbs, forts and shrines as much as you can. Try join a big active alliance. Don’t get sucked into doing events, always check if the rewards will be worth the effort and spends for you. Get to 30 million in about a year. P2W - Spend Money, Get to 30 million in about 2 weeks. ( All Depending On War, What Kingdom You Live In )
47 days in I’m at 4.5M power and Iv used China for far. Just hit CH 21 today so I started my T4 research. I’m thinking after I finish my first T4 research I switch to Germany for the training buff. Also I purchased one step closer after the CH upgrade and the recruit more war bundles and I’m wondering if I should use the speed ups. 20 days 16 hours is brutal.
What to do when there's a civil war appears in kingdom? I've been rallied, and lost 700k troops because of LT rotation and greed, but how do I play in kvk2 after that? I'm already grinding passports, grinded 2 of 4(as I'm 22m now), so should I use boosts for troops instead of technology to remain active?

All commanders are equally good to use for fort construction. The only pair that really matters is the captain pair

The only thing I disagree with you is the wall. In my opinion you should not invest into wall commanders during that time if you are not a really high Spender since you get rekt anyways doesn’t matter which commanders you use on the wall. Later in the game you will have more than enough xp books to put a good garrison on the wall instantly as soon as your city is „defendable“ and you feel strong enough to take a rally and not shield instantly
Good commanders in my opinion are Expertise ysg and 5511 Richard for example. You can use Mina/cc Richard/Charles or Richard/sun tzu and aethelflaed/ysg for open field pretty early for example and do decent on the battlefield

So my question is what are some prerequisites for joining in on kvk. I know that the lowest level barbarians are 25 so that's a decent gauge for how ready you are, but does anybody have any other ways of gauging how ready you are?
I was a player in a starting kingdom 1197 and none of this comanders exist. After the Rok decided to delete the Accounts I had there because I need to stop playing (THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT). Now in a new starting kingdom NONE of this comanders exist. They started with Caesar for the mighty governor and now Martel. So how is this possible to achieve?

The way I transfer my rss is attacking my farm while troops are gathering which leaves no one in the city the spam attack and then when I'm done I just repair and stop the burning

Not every other building but the watch overs are the biggest problem. For that we need to have too many arrow of resistance. That’s the biggest thing to upgrade.

F2P - Save everything you ever receive. farm like a maniac. Only spend your farmed resources. Hit barbs, forts and shrines as much as you can. Try join a big active alliance. Don’t get sucked into doing events, always check if the rewards will be worth the effort and spends for you. Get to 30 million in about a year.
P2W - Spend Money, Get to 30 million in about 2 weeks.

47 days in I’m at 4.5M power and Iv used China for far. Just hit CH 21 today so I started my T4 research. I’m thinking after I finish my first T4 research I switch to Germany for the training buff. Also I purchased one step closer after the CH upgrade and the recruit more war bundles and I’m wondering if I should use the speed ups. 20 days 16 hours is brutal.

What to do when there's a civil war appears in kingdom? I've been rallied, and lost 700k troops because of LT rotation and greed, but how do I play in kvk2 after that? I'm already grinding passports, grinded 2 of 4(as I'm 22m now), so should I use boosts for troops instead of technology to remain active?
