For that price, they better be doing the tasks for me.
🤣
For $34? Lmao... you can't afford a $34 app that organizes your life and time each month?
@@katiesuzan Buying an app isn't magically going to do the work for you. And you're talking like $34 is cheap. That's literally more expensive than any subscription I currently have. It's even more expensive than my gym membership.
@@katiesuzan no
Imo it depends on how much one values their time. I'm constantly moving projs and tasks down the line that are connected to multiple inputs. That brainpower & time has a value and over time that value compounds. For me, having a platform that helps w/ this + the dev team's upgrades over time is worth the price.
We've gotten overly-accustomed to paying very little for these software platforms, so this price point seems high. GCal is free bc it doesn't need to charge for it. It's like gasoline. We think it's high now only bc it's been federally regulated by the FERC for decades to keep the cost down. I think of it similar to food delivery svcs like factor, etc. I can take the time to check if I've got an empty fridge, meal plan, drive to the store, grocery shop, wait in line, drive home, cook, clean up but instead the food shows up at my door and I pop it in the microwave. Scale that up to a week, a month, etc. I pay for that so my time & brainpower are freed up to do other things. See what I mean? It all depends on how and what we put our valued effort into.
Re gym memberships, the reason why some folks pay top-shelf prices is not just to work out. A machine is a machine wherever you go. The connections, networking, pampering, etc at those gyms has a value that, usually, you can't get at a less-than $34 / month gym. That's a generalization but you get my point. Again, it's simply a value-to-service connection.

A review by a young person that has not yet been a parent, partner, leader and ran a business all at the same time. Why do I say that? The review was all about features and did not focus on whether the app actually makes a difference in persons life. However from what I see, it has lots of fancy features that work if you put in lots of inputs which take time. Do your own planning and not letting some software do it for you. FYI I did not consider this to be AI. It's not really learning just sorting things based on lots of inputs.
I agree, I mentor cyber security students and often have 20 different students to shuffle time around. Often students email me to reschedule which eats a lot of my time to see when the next available spot is available. Manual effort of going back and forth to say will this work for you or won’t work for you became quickly a pain. Students often come up with excuses also for being absent, with every email excuse being different. What I use is Ai responder software to automatically respond to students by having AI creatively respond to their excuses. The only thing I got to figure out how to do is to link this AI to google calendar to look up for me available spots and respond creatively in a polite manner to student about their absence excuse while giving them automatically time slots based on what’s available in my evening block of hours….
Motion failed in accommodating such need…. In which case I simply need to use my calendar instead plus AI auto responder.
Indeed listening to a young person review who did not text experience the real world scheduling problems is somewhat counter productive especially since it’s all about features but not exactly about the use cases.
If anyone finds software to accommodate my use case please let me know. Until then manual shuffle is what I’ll do now.
Thank You.
Thank you for your input, Thais was really helpful
@@allach1772have you tried Calendly?
So you have to fill in ll the data manually anyway? I'll just use a calendar then
Thanks a lot! I couldn't find yet a review for Skedpal... I find it a good alternative, except for the schedule function... I also wish this calendar can understand the location and calculate buffer times if you need to commute..
If it would calculate the commute time, I would pay for it.
Great info. Looks good but as soon as you said that colour coding isn't possible I decided against it. You saved me from having to even bother setting it up. Cheers :)
Pricing is insane for something you could easily do on your own with a little effort. I'm not seeing the value beyond some nice calendaring additions, but to each their own
is more than a gym membership
Yeah they're butchering their client base. One of their ads makes an example of us making $30 per hour, not all of us make $30 per hour lol
I’m seeing it’s $34/ month. That’s not terrible.
Clearly you don’t need it then. Or you are a busy fool.
@@Wrightstuff13 my gym is 18$
Curious, anyone here a photographer using this app? Would love to hear how you're using this to plan out unpredictable weeks.
Thanks for this useful overview. I’ve seen a lot of ads for Motion & they’ve been very vague. Learnt a lot more from your video. Still don’t like it;)
I think it’s a great concept but the price is too much. Were are getting nickel and dimes by everything out there. $7.99 annual monthly or 9.99 monthly is more realistic. Otherwise I’d get it.
Thanks for this review it's helpful. Only one thing, you may try to reproduce it with the background music volume turned lower. It's a bit high and distracted from your content, in my opinion
Great video Scalarly 😃
As a listener, the music and popping sounds without telling what is going on was very frustrating.
I find it hard to watch your very good video because of voice quality. Good content though
Solid video review! Good stuff, keep it up!
Much appreciated!

Good review I like how you kept it short other videos about the similar topic are much longer. Please though, for the sake of my ears and all your other viewers, add a D-sser filter to your audio. Great work!
$34/month is a bit much for what it offers imo.
I have three different calendars, can I incorporate all three (all google calendars)
Yes, I just got it a few days ago and linked my work calendar as well as my two personal calendars
No Apple Cal support ☹️
Excellent review. They don't have a free tier just some garbage that they will give you a $5 Amazon card if you dont like it and they keep the subscription for the month - yeah go figure. BTW - Drop the reverb, music and record in a smaller room. Your content will go to evergreen status.
Hey, I can't find the google extension anywhere. Any chance you can send me the link to the google store, please?
Hi Marco! Have you sign up already? They will redirect you to the extension
@@Scalarly I did. I may have skipped that at that time. Can’t find it now.
@@marcoteodoro341 Can't find it either...
Can our work email/calendar ( office 365 ) add with motion?
Yes

I still don't understand WHY it takes 4 to 8 times longer to open/set/format a task than to actually write it?! All of these so call organizations apps are just overstretching tike that I already don't have. It makes it all completely pointless
yep price is just too much for me.
Has anyone else noticed you can’t exactly change the times in the iPhone app? Everything is 30 minutes!

I don’t see what the difference is between this and google calendar. Google does the same thing pretty much
Wtf this seems more work than it's worth I'm flipin ADHD how does this really help ...I need a real assistant I can talk too and talk back
Is this a sponsored review?
Must be - “cancel any time” with no instructions on how to cancel. Also “give permissions or you won’t be able to proceed” - that’s not a review, that’s a push!
How do I find my login and password for the app once I sign up?
What the fuck are you asking
really nice video and structure :) Maybe think about investing in a better mic soon, it was kind of tiring to listen for a longer time
Lol 👸
I don't understand how this is different from google calendar lol
That popping noise is annoying!
No i calendar? No use. Sorry.
it looks like just a normal calendar feature nothing special
Dental student here is anyone using this app in school ?
As a high earner I’m unsure about this. I almost need to hire a physical assistant just to keep up with this but also my work is complex/changes a lot so setting this up seems like a nightmare
ITS A SCAM lmao, you cant cancel other than email, and even then its sends you to a scuffed cancelation. its a scam

This does NOT seam like a honest review, but a paid one
I need to see HOW it works, not how wonderful it is.
