Because they don’t know anything about anything except going to school.
So sorry for these kids. I'm glad they're tackling this together and all, but two 23 year-olds who are both still in school should NOT even be thinking about marriage!
It would be better if they were 33 and still in school?
@@SynterraSteen No? My main point here is that they're both in school and not working. If they were 33 and still had the same amount of debt but weren't in school, this would be easier to tackle. I work in commercial brokerage, and it’s a boys club of the who’s who of the industry. If you’re a 23 year old with little to no connections, don’t expect to get paid any commissions any time soon. That’s why most commercial brokerages pay out at least a small salary for junior staff and then shift to commission-heavy structure once you’re more senior and can hold your own. Sounds like they are trying to get married, get degrees, get jobs & pay the loans all at once, while living with parents and I can see it being an overwhelming task, especially at that age. @Johnny Five If everyone took that approach, almost no one would be getting married and/or seriously dating. Also, taking that analytical approach makes it seem that you’re applying for a job and not trying to be in a romantic relationship with someone. Also, most people aren’t going to be comfortable sharing intricate and confident details about their lives on the first few dates. That’s ridiculous. Again, you’re not applying for a job and there’s no need to put your whole resume at the beginning of a relationship.

heaven forbid that family help each other. That the parents give the kids a leg up.
@@5000MikeMaster Nothing wrong with staying with your parents to save up so you can leave with a good financial foundation. This stupid logic results in people moving out and being broke forever because they have no savings.
