I have watched several hundred actor interviews. I will have to say Leonardo DiCaprio tops them all or far exceeds them all. I like his views on charcter roles and with that..He also has a great look. I appreciate how he views his art and how humbled he is by it all. When i talk to up and coming actors I always recommend they watch Leonardo's interviews as part of their study. I appreciate how well spoken he is when getting an idea across.
Leonardo is one of the actors whom I respect the most, he's done quite a lot of romance boy roles but he's still managed not to getting stereotyped as a pretty face actor (probably due to the fact that he actually is a remarkably talented actor), which I admire.
you must be young...because i'm only 22 and i think he's still thriving young nobody from the 90s is going to be young and fresh now. but he is incredibly handsom
This guy is basically the Robert de Niro of his generation. If you notice, he has never been less than stellar in any role. In What's Eating Gilbert Grape, he created a person who was severely impaired, yet had a fully rounded persona. And having started at the run, he just kept getting better and better. Blood Diamond is our most Hemingwayesque modern movie, and it's because of him. Jennifer Connelly doesn't do so badly, either. A great, great actor who enriches our lives.
I've always known he's not just a silly kid. I appreciate him ever since. People who say things like he's a gay (no offence to gays, it's about a lie), or an arrogant worthless celebrity simply don't watch his movies and - let's face it are jealous he's handsome, talented and intelligent at the same time. And i still don't get why everyone laughs so much at Titanic. That's a really well-made movie. It;s kind of melodramatic, yeah, kind of a fairy, but the best in this class. So come of him ;)
The strangest roles I have seen him in is The Basketball Diaries and Man In The Iron Mask. Although, I do love man in the iron mask because it was cleverly written. I like how the writter of the film made it where Athos, Porthos, and Aramis succeed in replacing King Louis the 14th with his fictional identical twin brother. It is a film I truely adore......plus, the bonus is that Leonardo DiCaprio plays the King....lol
he is referring to Leo's grandma -- he has said in previous interviews that his grandma has always told him that acting is a lot of talking, do something with your hands, become a bricklayer -- so that is what he is referring to
This was really good interview. I've seen more of this movie, but not all of it I probably missed all the happy parts, but it was soo sad so maybe there weren't any happy parts. It was a semi good movie though it was very depressing.
Tarantino decided to use a David Bowie song in Inglorious Basterds too... And it fitted really well. I think ur looking at this too rigidly and with a conservative eye. Btw, daniel day lewis is one of the greatest actors ever, and that is not exagerrated at all. Just look at his performance in There Will Be Blood.
yeah, altho I think it's cos as he says at the beginning, he's hardly slept be4 this interview.. but it's true he hasn't aged THAT well unfortunately.. still the BEST actor around tho!!
He has the most itchy nose ever, he starts every question itching his nose... and the interviewer's questions are very long. (altho to hear he's Irish) :)
I didn't like Gangs'. Daniel Day Lewis was totally over the top and completely over acted his part, he didn't even deserve an Oscar nomination in my opinion. It was a poor film, they were even playing U2 rock as background music in a movie set in the 1800's! How absurd was that?
In every interview he has such good eye contact with the interviewer! I don't think I'd be able to handle his alluring eyes burning into mine...
He's such a nice guy and an INCREDIBLE actor, hope he continues to have every success, I know I'll always watch a film that he stars in.
Such a great speaker. Smart man.
He's still exactly the same

He's a great speaker. Great interviewer as well.

oh my god i cant handle how amazing leo is, i want to bloody marry him oh god he is so talented and ahhh love him
This movie was sad and as always leo did an amazing job! He's a really good actor :)))
How is this man NOT an Oscar winner? C'mon, Academy, this guy's been under your nose for over two decades.
I love Irish accents and the way they talk, they don't seem to pause very much or for long..
Leonardo has done some brilliant films. That's why I appreciate him. Apart form the fact that he's always so cute!
by god that boy can express himself vividly
i absolutely adore gangs of new york! it is such a good movie and has such great casting and acting!
yeah! he's so awesome and talented and cute, so good person. I would like to meet him.

Robert Yates! Let's not trivialise the name of the author of the source material.
he is different then the boy i remember.
yeah, altho I think it's cos as he says at the beginning, he's hardly slept be4 this interview.. but it's true he hasn't aged THAT well unfortunately.. still the BEST actor around tho!!
he says fundamentally a lot.
but god he is yummy.
They're talking about his grandma, she died last year.
Who said he was gay?!
I don't get that vibe from him and I have great "Gay-dar."
He has the most itchy nose ever, he starts every question itching his nose... and the interviewer's questions are very long. (altho to hear he's Irish) :)
dude he is born 73 i think he aint old,

hmm nice iNTERrview
