"In the pursuit of happiness we don't realize what we already have." I had to hear this twice...so deep. It's so true and I absolutely loved what he said but it could go either way; it can make you content or even more miserable. But is he saying it's a viscious circle? We will never be absolutely happy. That's a scary but very true (especially as you get older) realization.
if i was someone who needed to interview dicaprio, i dunno what i'd do. i'd probably just sit there and stare at him. i bet everyone who interviews this guy gets nervous at some point coz he's so smart and intimidating
I agree. It kinda irritates me when people compare this film to Titanic or when they consider this film as "Titanic 2 if jack hadn't died." Like c'mon, it's a whole different movie, different characters, different personalities, different stories/situations.
I watched this movie and it is just a very intriguing performance through out the whole movie, but although this film is nothing like titanic, you can't compare the two because they specifically said in several films, that they didn't want to produce another movie similar to titanic. Before I watched this movie I kept getting the same statement that this is similar to a love story when it really isn't. Me personally think u would like the movie if u liked titanic cuz I did.
I din't like the movie, although I am one of the biggest Titanic affected people ever! I like them both and he seems smart and calm, I've been thinking about happyness for a long time now although I am in my early 20s and I've came to realize a couple of years ago that as much as we should reach for better there will never be an ulitmate moment of happyness if certain conditions are met (if I had money, if I had Brad Pitt), it is about appreciating what you have, but then the task is to do it.
Yeah very well said , so is it still same for you ? I’d like to know about how’s it going for you now .. given that it’s a bit too old comment 10 years actually lol , do u still comment around?
raisin???? Why?? so he can be miserable and get a divorce??? Let him wait for the right person// rather the right time/... time is timeless.. man made--- if he does not find her in this life-- then there is the next. Either way -- we all have to grow to a better enlightened path to be on... if we are to be what we are created to be!.....Leo is an old soul.
not the best movie ever; especially as reunion to these two; but on the other hand- and I must say I havent read the book- as far as a 50s movie it is good. so I feel mixed about this. I am happy that they reunited in a different movie; and not some weird detective or supernatural movie. one things sure to me again- Kate can take on any role. leo has done a few roles that remind me of this. I would love to see him in a movie as a streetwalker; homeless; gay; something completely different. or even a movie where hes the main role-sort of solo..... like Tom Hanks in Castaway. anyways.... thats it for now
i think it is a good film but definitely not one i'd watch again. it's like 'schlinder's list'-you can't deny its brilliance but you're not going to repeatedly torture yourself. i also don't agree that they had to find something different than 'titanic'. julia roberts and richard understood what worked about 'pretty woman' and did it again with garry marshall. leo and kate had to know this was a film 'titanic' fans wouldn't want to see.
I asked someone what Schlinder's list was like before I got to see it. He said "well its hardly entertainment" This movie was likewise. Well acted but slightly disturbing.
you can actually see him as a gay character in one movie, i forgot the name you'll just have to google it. and in the basketball diaries he's also kinda homeless i guess? idk just watch the movie if you wanna
esra lmao I rate him as the best actor in the world at present. He's made some amazingly good films. This one was so sad it actually hurt me to watch it. They should have gone to Paris.
I do agree, but Leo did play a boy with mental issues in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. He was amazing in that movie and his character was completely different then most of his other roles.
x'D Maby I would be able 2 say. OMG !! YOUR LEONARDO!! And then maby faitn x'D I would have done the same with Kate Winslet x'DD But if they where both together... I would just scream... then faint x'D
Leonardo seemed very intelligent and articulate when he speaks :)
When he calls Kate the hero...I die!!!💞😭😍💙🚢
Absolutely,Kate is her hero.
He was calling her character the hero
@@veritynewell6258 Definitely, and Leo is right, at least about the novel; I still haven't seen the film.
@@andrewbaldwin4454u should it’s good

Excellent man. Excellent film. Exquisite acting. Exquisite people. I like how he referred to "Stepford Wives"
he's relevant and timeless...throughout time.
his voice is so calming :)
He's so intelligent - it's always nice to hear actors talk about their characters with this level of insight.
i would LOVE a chance to meet leonardo dicaprio. he seems like such an interesting person, not to mention one of the GREATEST actors of our time.
LEONARDO DICAPRIO SO AWESOME IN REVOLUTIONARY ROAD 2008 FILM !!!

Leonardo Dicaprio must surely be the best actor on earth right now. The movie was "different" but such good acting.
if i was someone who needed to interview dicaprio, i dunno what i'd do. i'd probably just sit there and stare at him. i bet everyone who interviews this guy gets nervous at some point coz he's so smart and intimidating

dee anna Especially in Titanic..... Awww 😍😍😍
BRILLIANT QUESTIONS !!!
Read the book by Richard Yates and stop comparing this film to Titanic, they are in two different genres -.-
Exactly. Richard Yates certainlt couldn’t have foreseen the Jack and Rose story in the 60’s when he was writing the book:)
I agree. It kinda irritates me when people compare this film to Titanic or when they consider this film as "Titanic 2 if jack hadn't died." Like c'mon, it's a whole different movie, different characters, different personalities, different stories/situations.
I Love Leo so much(: Everytime I see his beautiful face I just smile! (:

Best actor of his generation !
Both. Relate to both. Love is powerful so there seems always to be internal limitations or external boundaries to overcome

@steffiemac They're not having a debate about the movie. She asks questions. He answers. She asks another question. You know, like an INTERVIEW.
When I See Him My Mind "Jack Jack Jack Jack" Lmfao, I Love titanic...I Hated When He Died.
I like him..... a lot. I love him hehe.
Frankly? Pun intended?
Ellie Addison omg 😂
This movie was real.
I like the questions, who did the interview? Nice work!
