What exactly is it that's misaligned with straight mags not being usable? Is it the pusher? Barrel alignment? If it's as simple as a curved guide chute there would be workarounds
I’d really like to see a straight Talon version. This blaster is cool and all, but it’s not cool enough to justify getting into an entirely new magazine type for. I also really wish that worker would put flared mag wells on their magazine wells and adapters because it would make reloading way, way easier.
My custom full-auto half-length modded Stryfe: nooo you can't just have 6 flywheels and a grip mag! Worker Phoenix: *haha MP7 go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*
It looks so cool! It’s the perfect compact pistol I’ve wanted. I just don’t like that it only takes the angled talon mags and that it doesn’t have a PWM for velocity
i was honestly excited for this, until i saw the magazine compatibility, now im disappointed that i now have 8-10 talon magazines that i cant use with this
As a former Nerfer in China, I saw the growth of Worker almost day by day on Chinese forums. They started from cosmetic parts and 3D printing with F10555 and I got my hands onto some of their early products. They were pretty wacky in terms of build quality. But now after quitting the hobby for 3 years and kinda coming back to the hobby when I moved to North America, it astonishes me how much they have progressed. This kind of 6-flywheel monster was not even imaginable back in the old days, and now Worker did it. The price tag is still reasonable because back in the days when you wanted this kind of great performance on a stryfe you would have to pay more than 150 bucks for sure. If there is only one thing that I'm proud of my home country, that is Worker. I don't care about politics, and I don't care about anything else. All I care is they make great products for things I like. They have grown so much in such a short period of time.
$160 isnt too bad considering what you get for a flywheel platform. I think my only gripe is the triple stage hurricane wheels. Triple stage hasn't prove to be more effective than dual, which might have issues down the line with possible burnouts. Other than that, pretty solid.
I'm quite on the fence about it, I'd maybe consider it if it becomes available with just the shell, pusher, and cage + wheels. The out of the box performance objectively is not too bad for something you don't need to futz about with, but if you put it in an event context, a lot of PvP events will tend to go for a cap of 150fps, and the next step up tends to be at 200 at which point out it will be under performing. It's also a bit large to use as a secondary. It's still possible to swap out parts that you want, but then feels like a bit of a waste of the initial purchase cost to effectively pay for part assembly when you're going to change around the internals.
I know that this video states that it comes with a pretty hefty price tag, but it since it has now been replaced by the phoenix 2.0, it has dropped price drastically on Amazon, going for about 65-80 bucks. Definitely becoming the ideal worker starter blaster
Great review, was considering buying through AK Blaster Mod...but they sold out over the weekend. Amazon is +$40ish, but it will arrive much faster than AK Blaster. You sold me on it!
I was expecting $200 honestly $160 for a pre made 3 stage full auto injections moulded blaster that's pretty darn good. As for the rate of fire it's definitely not the fastest thing in the world but realistically I feel like it's a really good rof to conserve ammo but still have full auto.
I got one of these and I love it. It triggers some people because of the 150 FPS 3 stage, but its consistent and its laser accurate and fun and so easy to shoot and play with.
After watching the video and really considering it, I think the blaster might actually be under-priced. For an injection molded, full auto, primary that shoots 160fps $160 is really reasonable. Thanks for the video WalcomS7. I am on the fence if I will purchase it. My groups FPS cap is 150 and HvZ caps are 120-130 so the Phoenix is really not something I will get to use often. It’s probably a pass for me at this time
I got confused while watching this thinking I left phantasy star online open by accident, but no it's just the background music you chose lmao. 3 stage flywheel seems excessive but I imagine that's them pushing the limit of diminishing returns on the idea. I really like that we're seeing more grip mags now. Really happy I got an adventure force pro blaster at walmart here in Canada the other day. So cool having the 'hobby grade' of foam blasters be that much more accessible. Wonder if/when we'll see flywheelers in the mainstream AFP/DZP brand
I like it alot. When I heard about this I was hoping for a side arm to compliment a half dart springer primary. Still this is compelling. If they put together a package that ships with extra mags and possibly a lipo/charger this would be an easy buy.
Seems they’re going morefor a Torque fast throttle over a ROF speed motor and feeder/pusher gearing mod. We have those Lazer tag kits too! With the headsets! Gold sets and green!
Thanks for the video Walcom! I really like your new chronograph, it's super cool how the display attaches to the blaster. I'm not a huge fan of the Phoenix but in the setup you have it in, it looks really nice to use. Also, I just had an advert for the Dinosquad line at the end of your video, it turns out that the kids using the blaster ARE the dinosaurs! Their eyes were glowing green every time they fired them, very creepy. You are amazing, keep up the good work! 💜💜
I agree with you brother.!!! It's freaking awesome 14"outta the barrel.!!! I'd rather have the snow you guys have than the endless raaaaaaaiiiiiiiiin. In the last 8weeks, we've had no more than 48hr break from the rain.🤓😎🤠
Thins is the kinda stuff that will tempt me away from full-length darts. Would love the see a compact pump-action with a pistol-grip mag and retaliator internals... and a scout rifle too!
To be honest that price puts it in the same range as a foxfire and still a long way short of the fdl, even the fdl lite they’re making as their final product. And the performance is right around the same mark. Honestly, this is a very tempting blaster to me. I’ve always liked having a long rifle primary and an smg secondary. It hits a little hard for hvz or a cqb weapon though. I do think this would look awesome with a white pain job with a sci-fi aesthetic, just needs a couple of tac rails added to the side to side mount a light. Would be pretty cool to have a plug and play system so you could buy extra shells and paint them a variety of different ways.
I love mine. It goes DAKKA when it fires. It sprays foam, though not as fast as a couple of my modded blasters. Yes its a little more chonk than id like, but i still grin like a fool when i use it.
More info on the mags * can they be extended * are they drop proof * is the magwell flared for faster swapping Will worker come out with a fast METAL gearbox * I chewed thru 4 yellow gearboxes quick * blue ones can be slow Walcom 7 you need a external target collector at different lengths. Your garage door insulation is crying 😭 out to me from the level of abuse Great Video by the way, very entertaining The knob is a pulse width modulator I think 🤔
Why dose worker feal like the good second market company that almost every other hoby have, i remember back when they where only known for the darts, and springs, now they are soo big, im proud
Thanks so much for the video, I hope you've been doing okay and staying warm, I love the snow, and it's a cool blaster I don't think I will be getting one at the moment I'm more excited for the ruffian and gecko and something else I can't say, and I love my spectrum, take care
I don’t understand, they recommend 2200 mah battery with 80c discharge rate, which allows for maximum current draw of 176Amps, however the XT60 connector that comes pre installed is only supposed to handle 60 amps?
Do you charge it I don’t really no about fully automatic nerf guns so I’m not sure if you have to charge it when the battery dies so plz can you tell me because I might buy it

Oh! By the way, this blaster is selling around 100 bucks in China where lots of players complain about the expensive price....
Could you ship one to me??
Just kidding.
God I want worker to start producing Straight ten round talons. Would go so well with my spamf.
When you've added the stock, grip and barrel, that did it for me. I need one of those in my life. I wonder if you could fit 180's in there.
Yes I’ve been waiting for a review in this lovely blaster. Can’t wait to get my hands on one
This blaster reminds me of MP7, and when you put the stock on it. So sweet.
