It seems like every month now there's a new pump-action magazine-fed Primary springer in the NERF hobby, and with that many choices... which ones are the best? Coop772 might be gone, and that is very sad he alongside Walcom were the ones who made me passionate aboit foam flinging, we will all miss him very dearly but we can all at least understand and be happy that a person that brought us so much joy has now begun to find himself and went to live a better life until the end of his days. I mean it seems to be a favorite standard design. There was a time people wanted there to be more pump action blasters and modded their Recon or OG Longshot to have foregrips, and now they don't need too.
Walcom just made THE PERFECT for foam flinging fun this summer. Even if you're brand new to the hobby and have no clue what any of the terminology means the fuzzy walrus will hold you hand and give a perfect explanation that's easy to understand while avoiding talking down to you.

My younger brother was in the market for a blaster recently, and I noticed the X-Shot Pro Longshot was avalible at our nearby Target.
Without hesitation, we ordered it, picked it up, unboxed it, and were extremely suprised by the sheer velocity, because this was the first hobby-grade/100+ FPS blaster we'd ever seen!
Amazing blaster, aesthetically pleasing, actually good texture and build, 10/10 recommend for any skill of nerfer.
Edit: I'm going to say 9/10, because apparently there have been issues with the plunger tube cracking, and even though we haven't had that problem, it's an easy and cheap fix.
Heard that the plunger tube in it tends to crack, may wanna get a metal plunger tube for it (only 8 bucks but they give you 2 so its like 4 bucks per tube)

Last summer I got the Nexus, a few months ago I got the Harrier, could stop there but I just preordered a Longshot, cause bullpup and slamfire. Happy to spend the money.

Thank you for this great video! I completely agree with you about the development of the last few years: in 2023 there will be things that we would not have dared to dream of two years ago. Two years ago I modded a CEDA-S. Today their performance is clearly surpassed by that of, for example, the Worker Harrier (which I now own). It's insane: the Worker Harrier and other modern blasters are better out of the box than many older blasters that have been modded to the limit of feasibility.

Recently got the trion. Love it. Threw on the translucent teal scar barrel from out of darts and that package looks sweet. Don’t worry, I only shoot in my or my friends back yards and we live out in the country. Not taking it out to public parks or anything without the orange tip

I don’t recommend replacing coop. Walcom has his own unique style. I enjoy watching both coop and walcom but in different ways. Both are great in their own way.
coop reviewed every single nerf blaster that came out, and nerf combos, and nerf loadouts, and versus, and all the jokes, the nerf stereotypes, he will never be replaced, but Walcom will always be here, or at least be here right now. He might not replace him or not be like him, but oh boy do we all love his content and we will have as much if not more fun with him not here, so buckle up, we are all going to fling more tons and tons of foam.

I see Walcom more of the Nerf "historian", while Coop was more of the "welcome guy" who would introduce someone into the hobby. That being said, Coop =/= Walcom

I am a collector, I own every single blaster on this list and have played with them a whole lot. the sabre is by far, the very best (they have come a long way since this old model in the video), if you wanna get the very best by an astronomical margin, Sabre products are worth every penny

I looooove the Harrier, and my bias informs me that everyone else should too. The body of the blaster is exceptional, if you like to drill and plink I think it's my favorite.
I love the Long Shot. I know it’s flawed, but I just love the form factor and it feels amazing to use and hold for me. I’m gonna pick up another one and put a stronger spring in it and then I’ll be good to go!

I absolutely love the look and format of the X-Shot Longshot (bullpups are awesome) but I wish it didn't have so many durability issues. I'd gladly pay a few extra dollars for a new version with the same format and better build quality.

i made a scar barrel for my nexus on my 3d printer when i first bought it, it works really well for me
The Shellington Kirin now has a mod available to fire half darts without shells so thats now a more valid option for competition, plus a bolt action springer sniper is pinacle role play
We are spoiled with high end springer options! You left the Unicorn off the list! More of a niche perhaps but I love mine! Very solid construction. Nice compact design. The Unicorn and Harrier are my favs for sure! And the Swift is still the big daddy for me. All my sad caliburns sitting on the shelf! 🤣
Honestly the Unicorn has always been more of a secondary for me. Not to say it doesn't make a great primary, but I mentally associate it more with stuff like the Aeon Pro and SPAMF than the Nexus Pro and its family.

to answer your question about the nexus pro's offset picatinny rail, it's so ironsights have a higher point-of-impact before adjustment. it's actually brilliant, and alone makes it superior to the stryker.
I agree, best allround blaster to get in 2023 was the GF Trion. It only needs a 3d printed scar barrel to become absurdly good.
Until some company makes a pump action revolver sniper for foam flinging fun, I'm probably just going to settle with my Roughcut I have.

I was disappointed in the Mk4 after using it in a war yesterday. Extended barrel made it hard to hit ANYTHING, even with fresh darts, and using club darts it was even worse, even after sorting through to find the best condition darts. With the SCAR, it shot great up until it jammed, and without a stick or rod handy, it became useless for that game. It also felt heavy after using it more than a few rounds.
Nice prime, if long, and I get that you can mod it to do even higher fps with barrel SCAR/BCAR/ETC to add back the accuracy, but I can't think of a time when I needed to shoot above 200fps aside from some actual competitive tournaments. And for that the Harrier was a so much better value in comfort and versatility. Or a lightly modded Trion.
I know there aren’t a whole lot of options for half dart flywheel blasters like there are for springers, but I would like to see this same video but for flywheel blasters.

Is there a reason you dont have a review for the Trion? No other reviwers show grouping and what not... was hoping to find it on your channel, but cant find it.
I got a nexus when they first came out, and I thought it was great. Also I like the 12 round dz mags, so I bought 6 of them for the thing. Honestly the prime was never really a problem for me, but I can see why people wouldn't like it.
I got the x shot pro gun and it is AWESOME
I got an x-shot 40 dart drum gun. It’s great
I would also love this type of guide with flywheelers. I didn't buy any blasters since 2018 and I dont know what to buy.
I think you can fit a worker scar muzzle in the front of a nexus pro no mods required. Im thinking of the super cheap plastic orange ones.

Wish this video was posted like a month ago lol. Just getting back into the hobby about a month ago and grabbed a Nexus Pro. Really liked its' performance. Then heard about the release of the Longshot, which I got as soon as I could. Again, really nice, but not 100% if I prefer it over the Nexus. And now I'm taking a look into the trion cause why not.

I believe that with these blasters the bullpup style works the way it meant to with real guns. it can maximize power from the gasses/air while keeping it small.

If im being honest im surprised the lynx didnt show up during this video. Yes i know its not the best blaster out their but its a pretty good one with power, accuracy, and adjustability.

Honestly, my favorite dart gun is the dart zone max stryker, the highest I’ve gotten this gun is 151 FPS on full length darts on half length darts I’ve gotten 155 to 158 FPS and I just love the design of the gun the pump action sniper look, it’s amazing the red and the gray and orange goes so well together and if you pair it with a 10 round Nerf banana magazine it looks so beautiful. I’ve gotten ranges from 38 to 80 feet so not the most consistent gun but it’s pretty accurate and it works pretty well outside, and plus you can find it at your local target for 50 USD or whatever that amount equates to in your region, I highly recommend it.
