Thanks for watching friends! We are PUMPED to get back into BAND-MAID and appreciate all the suggestions!!! If you haven't seen the other Band-Maid songs we've covered (only a handful), please check out our Band-Maid playlist when you have time: ruclips.net/p/PLYrkTp-j9yak1texWi9es8o5omD2GDCdC&si=LTHctpPKDMtiKlMi
Jimmy Page saw Band-maid in 2016 and went to see them backstage after because he was so impressed with their playing. He even called Akane (The Drummer) the reincarnation of John Bonham
They are still playing 1000-2500 seat venues when they tour. This video was from the finale of their 10th anniversary tour in November last year at Yokohama Arena. There were 10-12,000 people. This song was 27th of 33 from a 3 and a half hour show.
And smaller venues too. I saw them four times in Japan a few weeks before Yokohama arena, the max crowd capacities of the venues were 350, 500, 500 and 1,500.
Nice reaction! The official recording of the Band-Maid/Warning collab song, “Show Them,” isn’t available yet. They played it live last month when the two bands were on stage together in Tokyo, and a couple of bootleg recordings immediately circulated, but they’re cell-phone quality and unauthorized (you’ll get a copyright strike). You’ll have to wait until the new Band-Maid album is released in a few months-or earlier, if the official music video comes out first!
@Olkam-w5u Miku is a rep for Zameitas guitars and so is Jimmy Page. Kunami is a rep for PRS. Akane reps Tamma drums. Kunami uses a Mesa triple rectifier. Miku uses EVH amps, Misa uses Orange amps.
"Hate?" was song number 27 on the 33 song set list of their Tour Final at Yokohama Arena celebrating the end of their 10th anniversary tour. This was a 3-1/2 hour long concert. I got up at 2:30AM to watch the live stream and the sun was coming up MidWest USA) as the Maids were taking their bows and leaving the stage. Miku Kobato (Rhythm guitar, vocals) pitched Band-Maid in 2013, got the green light, and in short order recruited guitarist Kanami Tono, who then called her drummer friend Akane Hirose, who in turn called her bassist friend Misa, whose band had recently broken up. After rehearsing together they decided to recruit a singer, auditioned Saiki Atsumi, and hired her into the group. To say it was all smooth sailing after that would be a lie: Band-Maid has had many ups and downs over the last eleven years, but these ladies have pulled together as a team and worked through the many challenges they have faced. Two other 'Official Live' videos from this concert that you should see are "Don't You Tell ME" which also features Misa and Kanami dueling on bass and guitar, and the show finale "Endless Story". About "Endless Story": it was the first song written for their 2019 album *Conqueror* and was conceived as a stadium performance where the crowd is singing along and swaying along with the music. They released an MV for the song and had a huge world tour planned to promote the album in 2020. But then the lockdowns came and it wasn't until 2022 that they were able to tour again. When they got back to the US in October, '22, they sold out the majority of their dates and even had to add dates. The US tour ended at The House of Blues in Chicago. Try to watch the fan cam posts for "Endless Story" - it was near the end of that final show and you can tell that they're getting emotional: Akane is literally in tears playing through this song and wiping the tears from her eyes.
@etoineschrdlu9382 They were also supposed to play at the Bhudakhan Arena that the biggest Arena in Japan. I have dozens of Japanese friends and they say the reason they fired their management was because they were booked into smallish venues. Most were so small they wouldn't be able to use Lazers or their light show cause the stage was too small.
Thanks for the reaction and comments. These ladies are FIRE!!!!! Although they integrate some metal elements into the compositions of their song, they’re not a metal band. Rather than staying within a narrow band of music, their range of sounds and depth of musicality are about as wide and deep as the Pacific Ocean. I think you’ll have a great appreciation for their instrumental tracks, namely Onset(official live video) and From Now On (MV). There are others available on RUclips but since they are not official videos I would not recommend making reaction videos of them. Anyway, hope to see more B-M reaction vids in the near future. Until then…Cheers!
Thank you for reacting to the Maids. And welcome back! They are 🔥 whether you like rock or not. And MISA, "The Barefoot Assassin", was barefoot for this show. Try "From Now On" OMV to hear a kick 🍑 instrumental. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
Band Maid has just released a new song "Protect You" a few days ago =) They will also release a new album August ! Misa the barefoot assassin is still killing that bass and has no shoes this performance ! Thanks Y'all Nice Reaction
Just to let you know, the concert was their 10th Anniversary Tour finale at Yokohama Arena. It's a large arena that, I understand can hold up to 15,000 people, and the estimated crowd for the concert was between 8,000 and 10,000 people that night. A lot of seats could not be used because of a catwalk that went all around the arena, plus the catwalk that extended from the stage out on to the floor. But it was packed. Band-Maid has come a very long way in their, now over a decade together and intact from their very beginning. How many rock bands in this world can say that. Even the Beatles, changed drummers, and the Rolling Stones changed members. I suggest you react next to "Don't You Tell ME" from that same concert. The official live video has another "conversation" between MISA on bass and Kanami on guitar. During that conversation, pay particular attention to Akane's drumming during the solos. Two other official live videos from the concert are "Unleash" and "Endless Story" (the final song of the concert). All of the official live videos are on the official Band-Maid RUclips channel.
Nope, MISA was indeed barefoot. She does wear black stockings though, which might look like shoes at a distance. Yes, this was a 3 hour , 33 song "Oner" show, at Yokohama Arena, capacity 17,000, everyone here just to see the Maids. The they did a "add on" show 3 months later to showcase 23 of the songs they couldn't do in that first 3 hr set., but at a much smaller 2100 seat venue. And yeah, they don't go into the mix with Lovebites, Nemophila, etc. Band-Maid is solidly based in Hard Rock, not Metal, even though they occasional touch on Metal. If anything I would say they are their own Genre, Maid-Core, because they float along Pop Punk, J-Rock, Prog Rock, J-Pop, and J-Metal, but all on a foundation of Hard Rock.
Band-Maid is awesome! Just fantastic all the way around. You all should check out some of the instrumentals as well. This video was from a show just for Band-Maid. Thanks for the reaction and I look forward to more Band-Maid!
They were born for the live stage -- the level of technical playing won't suffer. They and The Warning are actually "sister bands" -- friendship and a mutual admiration society. They need to tour North America together! (Check-out the two "chumming-it-up" at Yokohama and at Aftershock). Band Maid Forever!!!!!
Band Maid is a lot of people's favorite group. They have tons of work, and the only way to see them is live. Suggest Play, Daydreaming, Freedom, Domination, Manners with Black Hole. And it is an exclusive Band Maid venue.
Them and The Warning have a sing they played together. All members of both bands on stage at the same time. It was when the Warning was in Japan last month. It got posted but pulled down. Word is it will be released on Band-Maid's up coming album. It was pretty epic.🤘🏻
I believe there will be a video for "Show them". Saw a very short clip put in their latest reel, where they highlighted Dany and her "yell" in the beginning of the song!
Thank you, Glen!!! We are SO happy to get back to Band-Maid and definitely appreciate the suggestion (especially highlighting drums for our buddy Matt!!)
Hey there!! Just got into doing reactions myself, and this is one of 2 I did for Band-Maid as I just discovered these amazing ladies! I feel like this is amazing songwriting, composition from all of the members of this group, and the talent level is through the roof! Be prepared for the #madiacs to decend and take you for a ride!! PO! 🕊 Been watching your channel for a minute, and love what you do. Subbed!!
THE best Hard Rock band on Earth. This was the 27th song of their 33 song set at this, their 10th Anniversary concert at Yokohama Arena (where Lovebites were in the audience, watching!). PS Matt might like this - Akane's isolated drums on the call and response section of HATE? at Yokohama - ruclips.net/video/Lc6hy30kUlE/видео.htmlsi=pTMXuUItsE3z8bSZ
"I'll bet them and The Warning would be so fun". DONE. 😆They've been besties for several years, and just last June, played together in Tokyo. Band-Maid is releasing a single with TW as special guests soon.
I've been on this planet for 7 decades following rock music forever and IMO these are some of the best musicians in the world today - or any other day. ❤
I’ve heard Band-Maid a few times and they are so good musically. I also find that nobody plays over the other. I find them enjoyable! And I liked your comments as well, since you haven’t heard them in awhile (Hi Matt). Hop😮fully I’ll be home in time tomorrow to catch my favorite channel!! 🎶 Cyd
This was their biggest show - their 10th anniversary show at Yokohama arena. Over 3 hours and it Blu-Ray is must own material for any maidiac. The maids are good friends with the Warning girls (and Lovebites too) - really can't compare the two groups, even though they're both hard rock. In general, Band-Maid's material is faster and more complex, but with lead guitar that is crazy as hell but not as "fat" sounding unless you check out their earlier stuff, or instrumentals like From Now On MV and Onset official live, than the other bands and as you say they are hard rock and not metal. (Which is great for me, because I'm not a fan of screaming vocals at all - unless they're pitched screams.) All of these Japanese bands are great though - I look at the Japanese music scene as a five star smorgasboard of awesomeness. I say enjoy it all if you can!
Welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this very performance at the venue on Nov.26, last year. Very exciting 3-hour-40-minute-long show with 33-song setlist. (Happy fatigue thereafter 😄) I also went to see the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Tokyo? What a bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed to see which drummer can break their bass drum first in the joint finale 🤣 The Warning, the opener, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn as a hostess band. It was 150% energetic throughout their performance including that new song "Show Them" played with the guest band.
Thanks for bringing the Maids back home to your channel ❤ Comparing any other band to Band Maid is honestly an impossible task. Almost every other group I can think of, from all genres and generations, make music through their unique sounds and styles. They find what works and they repeat it with new chords and lyrics. Band Maid is unique in that they are musicians and songwriters first. They will write and record whatever they feel cool with. Their variety is virtually unmatched. That’s a double edged sword, though. That means they’re gonna make stuff that metal fans don’t like. And they’ll make chaotic, complex stuff that hard rockers don’t like. And they’ll record heartbreaking ballads that confuse some people. Band Maid always surprises.
Matt, you're damn right. The songs that this band creates is so fun musically. More progressive, more intricate, and sounds heavier to me than the other bands that you guys mentioned. They play heavy grooves and the tone of each instrument is thicker, richer and heavier.
The Warning collaboration is out. It got copyright strikes, but I think they were going to fix that. Yes! She is always barefoot, hence the name The Barefoot Assassin.
I was at this venue in early March for two Babymetal shows. It's obviously a big place, but what I love about the arena is that the show I attended and every show I've seen video of from that venue have that ramp and platform in the middle of the arena. It's so cool to have the group "among us" like that.
Misa, bass, does not wear shoes while performing so she feels Akane's beat through the floor. You can't always hear that well when the band is at full roar.
This was the final concert of their 10 year anniversary tour. There were 8,000 people in the audience. Just for them. They played for 3-1/2 hours. They have played in front of 20,000+ people, but that was a multi-band show. Not just them.
Awesome reaction! Totally relate to Matt saying BAND-MAID is his new fav. As a long time rocker my 3 favorite bands are THE WARNING, BAND-MAID and LOVEBITES (A Japanese all girl legit heavy metal band) check out the LOVEBITES song SET THE WORLF ON FIRE, live Ride For Vengeance Tour. Thanks for bringing back JAPANESE METAL SAT.
I think that Band-Maid is in a different class than Nemophila, Lovebites, et al. Personally, I like the *spirit* that Band-Maid puts into their music, in much the same way that I like the spirit that The Warning puts into theirs. There are a ton of metal bands out there that are all about speed and technique, but whom I feel lose the soul that inspires me to love music. Band-Maid has both the skill *and* the soul, which is what sets them apart for me. By the way, the collaboration song with The Warning is called "Show Them", and it will be on Band-Maid's next album in September (IIRC). I saw a fan cam of their joint performance of it onstage when TW did their show with B-M, and it is *EPIC*.
Welcome, Matt (and J & J). You are embarking on (along with many others - over 200 million views just on their official YT channel, plus over 40 million reactor plays!) an awesome, progressive, hard-rock journey with 5 incredible women. Here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid:
BAND-MAID’s songs and sound beat with the heart and soul of all rockers. But you’ll also hear heavy influences of Prog, Punk, Metal and Pop, with nice touches of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Grunge. Sometimes they use multiple genres within the same song. Their Composition, Execution, Joy of Playing, Consistency (130+ songs), Uniqueness, Charisma, Charm and, oh yeah, Cuteness factor, position them as becoming the hard rock Beatles of our time! In other words, they’re destined for mega-stardom. Each member's personalities are super interesting and their musicianship among the best. Their writing, arrangements and overall sound, especially guitar tones and drums, are kick-ass! Having seen them LIVE, I can honestly say their performance, sound, stage appearance, and band synergy is off-the-rails spectacular! Band-Maid is the only band in decades where I love nearly EVERY song they’ve done. I have over 70 favorites! High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away her sometimes perceived, coldish persona. Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kuruppo! No, no, no… KURUPPO!! Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 32 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more! Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, 33 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party! MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass, 31 years old. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. There was a leaked version of the BAND-MAID/The Warning song. But it was a mistake made by The Warning crew that did not understand that this is a no no in Japan. I do not know what's happening with an official release. And I hope the incident did not cause any problems for The Warning.
I have recently learned that the bass player has come to known as The Barefoot Assassin" Lately I have been listening to Band Made Interlude, Extended Intro, etc Compilation - Part1 and 2 I love the lyric "Ten minutes of limp gymnastics" I think the song Dice contains the lyric "Whip or candy which do you like? Listen to Dice
They are touring US twice in 2025, over 30 shows schedule. They usually start on east coast but I believe I saw somewhere it would be west coast 1st this time
So, your friend should check out From Now On and Shambles to hear what the drummer can do. I actually think the pop vocals are great. There's a lot of punk and metal in this band's hard rock, so with the vocals it's a real best-of fusion. Not a particular genre at all. Or maybe a Band Maid genre.
In Japan it’s illegal/prohibited to take pics/videos during gigs so there are actually no videos to share about that collab. There are 15 second teaser in Band-Maids Official Channel.
Its not illegal. Photos and videos are only prohibited if the band or management say so. Usually there there are rules of conducted stated before a performance of what is prohibited. However there are Japanese bands & artists that are fine with the fans taking photos and videos. To say Japanese crowds don't take their phones out isn't entirely true. And I've already seen videos of the collab with Mike Einziger. Even the full opening performance before Incubus. The videos are still up. As for The Warning, reactors got their reactions copyright striked from Band-Maid and The Warning's live colab were due to the song hadn't been officially released yet. Most reactions were from the video taken from the upper stands seen at a distance which is still up. Another video of the same performance which seems to have been removed was taken near dead center from the floor closer to the stage with better resolution and audio.
If you haven't tried Bridear yet, you really should. Brave New World Revisited is great, plus they just dropped a new album. Many great songs in their collection.
#musikbyjh Fun fact from this show in the crowd was present Midori, Asami and Haruna from LOVEBITES 🇯🇵. The 2 bands support each others. The 2 drummers : Haruna Ishikawa and Akané Hirosé are friends .
MISA playing fingers? ....that's a rear one....she's usually pick-slap-pop unless it's a softer song. Band-Maid/Warning collab live song (only one I know of) will get you copywrite striked, and it's because of The Warning, Band-Maid doesn't care. For another Metal Saturday try Band-Maid "RINNE" music video, though Band-Maid isn't a "Metal" band but they can bring it any time.
You should really focus in the lyrics in this song. They are good as hell. Such a fantastic hate song😁👍 But yeah the musicality of this band is amazing.
Thank you, Martin! We definitely will pay more attention to the lyrics the more we listen. Too hard on the first watch, especially with a video. Appreciate you being here!
@@musikbyjh You can do BAND-MAID vid reacts and there should not be a problem as the ladies are ok with it and if they recognize you at s gig they will call you out ; )
Hey Eric!! Thanks for the suggestion! Yep, we love our J-Metal Saturdays!!! Back when we first started the channel a year or so ago, we were holding damn near every Saturday, at least 4-5 J-Metal songs. It got to be too much, so now we'll periodically hold them...usually at least 3 songs, but this week only one. We have a pretty epic J-Metal playlist if and when you have time. Hope to see you back! ruclips.net/p/PLYrkTp-j9yalX94A00ZYSBynYqyTO_G-Q&si=HqP06ZKbfJewe3FE
hey jeremy you should show matt and have him react to since he is a drummer to Band Maid Freedom official live video i know you reacted to it but i think he would love it and also tell him jimmy page went to one of their concerts aand saw akane and said i have to take a picture with her and he did he also said she is one of the best drummers he has ever seen please let me know what you think
Such a good suggestion, although Matt's (@dreaddrum) is pretty consumed with being an epic drummer in @ShallowSky!! We are grateful he lets us hijack him on occasion. ;-)

Please don't take them as a heavy metal band, the girls "float" a lot between genres and just touch metal. Often people are disappointed when someone announces Band Maid as a heavy metal band, so they hear other songs with pop, punk, jazzy... influences... Maybe pop-punk with heavy foundations and "spices" from all other genres? They have created their own niche. Reactors often approach any band from the point of view of their own favorite genre, I'm glad you're open to a different...
Yeah, they’re def not a “metal” band to me. They’re more hard rock than anything else. But also, genre is less important when you like so many different styles of music. As long as it’s good, then it’s good! Love these ladies! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel with a great comment. 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
I think if you’re comparing Band-Maid to the metal bands you have mentioned it’s not a fair comparison. Band-Maid is considered a hard band and not metal. One thing I never do with bands at this level is compare anyway. I love Band-Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila all equally. To me they all bring something different to the table. After all, would you want the table to have slight variations of one food or a wide selection?
The difference between Baby Metal and the Maids? 3 girls dancing around to power chords compared to 5 girls doing it all themselves and better than 99% of the bands out there.
I recommend you to react Dreamcatcher, it's the only group of kpop that incorporates rock and metal into their music and they are very talented. I recommend the new comeback "justice" 🔥
I've tried and tried and now I've listened to 'HATE' which a lot of people say is one of the best from them. But, no, it just annoys the hell out of me. The vocalists voice is annoying and the whole thing, like a lot of their music, is all in a terrible rush. Absolutely zero emotional connection. What we do get is a vehicle for them to show off lots of shredding ability, which leaves me stone cold. Sorry, not for me. Almost polar opposites to the genuine feel we get from The Warning.
Fun fact -Lovebites members were in the audience for tnis show - love how Japanese artists support each other
Jimmy Page saw Band-maid in 2016 and went to see them backstage after because he was so impressed with their playing.
I wish I could have seen them in a 350 capacity venue. So intimate 🤘😆🤘
@@BRO-HI808 It was intimate, a tiny basement club in Akita. No security, no barriers. 6 or7 of Kanami's family were in the crowd too!

The barefoot assassin shines yet again.❤
3.5 hours 33 song (this was #27) setlist. Best part? I was there😁
So jealous but HAPPY for you!!
Band Maid is a style by itself. So versatil and so creative.
Maid Rock it's their style!! 😂
You should listen to their instrumental “From Now On”. Official music video or their new song “Protect You”. Official music video.
And Kanami, the lead guitarist, is sponsored by PRS. Moreover, in their new song, she has a new PRS, an extremely rare model, made specially for her.
Torajima
PRS would be crazy not to.
Great comment, thank you Etoine. We'll add "Don't You Tell ME" and "Endless Story" to our recording schedule!!
Band-Maid: more awesome than awesone. 🙃
Great comment , and love "Maid-Core"!!!
Misa is sponsored by Black Cloud, who just released her signature "Black Smoker" guitar. Not sure what you meant by they "don't hold up."
Best band on the planet 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🤘🎎🤘🎎
THANK YOU FOR THIS REACTION BANDMAID.....AND MENTIONED THE WARNING...
Them and The Warning have a sing they played together. All members of both bands on stage at the same time. It was when the Warning was in Japan last month. It got posted but pulled down. Word is it will be released on Band-Maid's up coming album. It was pretty epic.🤘🏻
I SO wish we could have seen that...were you there???
@@musikbyjh No but I saw the video the night it went up after they played before it got taken down. You and me both. Wished I was there too.😄
I believe there will be a video for "Show them". Saw a very short clip put in their latest reel, where they highlighted Dany and her "yell" in the beginning of the song!
You all would enjoy Don't You Tell Me Live. It has a nice duel as well and vocals shine more. For a heavy instrumental check out From Now On MV.
The Maid uniforms are the latest incarnation and we're first seen in this show.
Great reaction and welcome back to Band-Maid, you've been missing some great music. Maybe try Shambles next if you like amazing drumming.
Thank you, Glen!!! We are SO happy to get back to Band-Maid and definitely appreciate the suggestion (especially highlighting drums for our buddy Matt!!)
venue was Yokohama arena, , one their own , almost totally sold out. Their 10 year anniversary gig. Their are now on arena hall tour in Japan.
PO! 🕊
Been watching your channel for a minute, and love what you do. Subbed!!
Thanks for the love, and keep up the great work yourself!!! ❤️🥷🏻🤘🏽
Ooohhh!! 😮
"I'll bet them and The Warning would be so fun". DONE. 😆They've been besties for several years, and just last June, played together in Tokyo. Band-Maid is releasing a single with TW as special guests soon.
We can't WAIT to see!!!
🎶 Cyd
They are The Perfect Beast
(Happy fatigue thereafter 😄)
I also went to see the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Tokyo? What a bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed to see which drummer can break their bass drum first in the joint finale 🤣 The Warning, the opener, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn as a hostess band. It was 150% energetic throughout their performance including that new song "Show Them" played with the guest band.
Thanks for bringing the Maids back home to your channel ❤
Comparing any other band to Band Maid is honestly an impossible task.
@@MusicMike747 well said
Akane's heroic drumming is 🔥
I love them because they know how to write such great music - hard rock with melody. They so remind me of the best bands I saw in the early 80s.
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!! 🥃🥃🥃 Badass Bass Assassin and another great "conversation "between MISA and Kanami 🤙🏽
The song you watched was from Yokohama arena concert (aruoudn 10.000 people) ... it was conclusion of 10 year world tour.
Offical attendence was 8, 000 .
Matt, you're damn right. The songs that this band creates is so fun musically. More progressive, more intricate, and sounds heavier to me than the other bands that you guys mentioned. They play heavy grooves and the tone of each instrument is thicker, richer and heavier.

Band Maid could carry a 3 hour live show! Mental!
The show at the Yokohama Arena was 3 hrs and 36 minutes
Tasty, yes!
Welcome to the Maidiacs Master Matt
The Warning collaboration is out. It got copyright strikes, but I think they were going to fix that. Yes! She is always barefoot, hence the name The Barefoot Assassin.
I was at this venue in early March for two Babymetal shows. It's obviously a big place, but what I love about the arena is that the show I attended and every show I've seen video of from that venue have that ramp and platform in the middle of the arena. It's so cool to have the group "among us" like that.
Misa, bass, does not wear shoes while performing so she feels Akane's beat through the floor. You can't always hear that well when the band is at full roar.
Good job!!
Thanks!
Thank you for Band-Maid and have a good day!!
BAND-MAID: more awesome than awesome!
We need a US tour co-headliners Band-Maid and The Warning asap!! They'd sell out!!
🤘🏻🇯🇵🤘🏻
"Thrill" (2014) is a great place to start: ruclips.net/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/видео.html Their songs from albums Unleash, Unseen World, Conqueror, World Domination, Just Bring It, Brand New Maid, and New Beginning drive even more - Hate?, Shambles, Influencer, Warning, No God, Different, Black Hole, Rinne, Blooming, Moratorium, Domination, Clang, Dice, Spirit, Don’t You Tell Me, Turn Me On, Fate, Play, Hide-And-Seek, Secret My Lips, Puzzle, Choose Me, I Can’t Live Without You, and on and on.
But don’t miss out on their powerful, beautifully written, mid-tempo songs like Daydreaming, Bestie, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, At The Drop Of A Hat, Mirage and Smile... or more punky like After Life, Don’t Let Me Down and Screaming… or funky like Bubble… or bluesy like Manners and The Dragon Cries… or poppy like Start Over… or a bit jazzy like Wonderland… or progressive like No God, Giovanni, and Black Hole… or cultural like the Band-Maiko series… or instrumentals like From Now On, Don’t Be Long, Onset, Without Holding Back and Going Nuts… or their many acoustic versions like Catharsis and Sayonakidori... and last but not least, their Anime hits (AniMaid) like Protect You, Sense, Different, Glory and Unleash!!!!! (from their own Anime MV (series?)): ruclips.net/video/7LB_EPS48HE/видео.html)
And many songs are represented with over 50 well produced music videos. ruclips.net/user/BANDMAID

Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

Band-Maid Members:
Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “StarQueen" - Lead vocals, arrangements and melodies. At 30 and the youngest, “Sensei” (Teacher) as band members call her, has the last word on many musical decisions. High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away her sometimes perceived, coldish persona. Saiki’s powerhouse performances, charisma, and voice focus the experience that’s driven her to the top echelon of hard rock frontwomen... or frontmen!
Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 32 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po!
Sometimes seen as the Mysterious One because she lets her instrument do the talking, the Assassin literally kills it… every note... uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA! MISA!

There was a leaked version of the BAND-MAID/The Warning song. But it was a mistake made by The Warning crew that did not understand that this is a no no in Japan. I do not know what's happening with an official release. And I hope the incident did not cause any problems for The Warning.
Oh no! We had no idea.
I have recently learned that the bass player has come to known as The Barefoot Assassin"
Lately I have been listening to Band Made Interlude, Extended Intro, etc Compilation - Part1 and 2
I love the lyric "Ten minutes of limp gymnastics" I think the song Dice contains the lyric "Whip or candy which do you like? Listen to Dice
Theyre in US touring now. All tour dates are sold out. NYC Channel 5 interview on their channel now. Its a great watch too
They are touring US twice in 2025, over 30 shows schedule.
Was there. Seen a fancy camera guy roaming round. Hopefully there will be an official live video someday? 🤞
@@Bekka_Noyb That’s what rumours said. Let’s hope so 🙏🏻 Superjealous for everybody who was there 😅 But glad you saw it 💪🤘
Its not illegal.
Another video of the same performance which seems to have been removed was taken near dead center from the floor closer to the stage with better resolution and audio.

another recommends All Female Heay-MetalBand [LOVEBITES]
🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
Like the reaction video, however, please refrain from talking during the solos. Rock on!!
Thanks for the feedback, Robin!
The difference between Baby Metal and the Maids? 3 girls dancing around to power chords compared to 5 girls doing it all themselves and better than 99% of the bands out there.
Thanks for watching with us, Paul!
I recommend you to react Dreamcatcher, it's the only group of kpop that incorporates rock and metal into their music and they are very talented.
I recommend the new comeback "justice" 🔥
MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! the Barefoot Bass Assassin , first of all BAND-MAID is not Metal they are Hard Rock plus .
tell me why you do this.
Is that a song name? Otherwise, you'll have to be more specific, friend.
I'm not sure if it's convenient or not the name of the song is hate which is what I think of the band. Great musicians annoying music.
Bummer, but to each their own!
All good, friend. We like what we like. Nothing wrong with that!
