I've wondered what's the idea behind naming these prototypes The Tsuchigumo is named literally after spider-like Yokais with the same name Arahabaki is, apparently, ancient Japanese Deity of Treachery, debauchery, rebellion and some more But Im still wondering about the others. About Onraki the most because there's literally no info about it
Apparently the Onraki is based on an ancient demon named Ura or Onra. It ruled the Kibi province from the Ki castle. I'm guessing they added the -ki to Onra to reference both the demon and it's former residence. In the files, Onraki is named Uragan
I know it’s low to comment twice but Hayashi’s boss themes are so good that it’s worth it. He literally got 3 killer themes out of nowhere (including the classic, Evil Itself, also 5 themes if you count The End of the Drama and Rebellious Phase for some reason)
Dead Souls Boss music hits so definitely like the other battle themes are these heavy hitting rock songs while the boss themes are a mix of abstract sounds or a guitar just soloing out through the song
Flying Swallow gives me PTSD every time I hear it because of how it went. I had no clue you had to buy weapons for Kiryu, and went through the entire battle leading up to the boss fight with nothing but the default pistol, and I didn’t notice that you had to grab the sniper. The fact I was already pissed off because of the long battle didn’t make it any more fun.
Fun fact: Hidenori Shoji was not involved with the compositions of the soundtrack of Yakuza: Dead Souls / Ryu Ga Gotoku: Of The End. He was only on interpretation support for the game.
Dead souls is litteraly left for dead but in yakuzas style, I mean some of the zombies are almost exact copies of l4d special infected like the crybaby for example, it's description litteraly says bewitched in it!
As far as I'm aware there's no extended track of "a flying swallow" & "murderous intent" sorry to put more work on you but would you mind extending these two tracks?

@@RandomCollection04 That is pretty interesting info. Thank you very much for satisfying my curiosity!
So the names of the prototypes really are from yokais?
@@elbonabonacasa9004 Some are indeed the names from the yokai
And yet, some are not, as listed in my comment
when i read yokai i thought of touhou and now in imagining the arahabaki prototype in reimu’s clothes help
Yesterday i was listening this in the middle of the night and the sound at 7:00 scared the shit out of me

for real, murderous intent is one of the best boss themes for a side character
@@TMCNM Murderous Intent is my favorite of the two. That breakdown is just 👌

Assailed From All Sides do be one of the best regular boss theme's in my opinion
11:06 love this one when Ryuji fights horde of zombies, mutant, Onraki and 2 Arahabaki Prototype

Mate you just invented a challenge I still have the game so I’m going to do what you did.
@@Evol134late but how’s the challenge?
@@PotatoVoid255 I did it but I lost almost all my sanity but was a good challenge

Cry is by far my favorite in Dead Souls.
I lowkey like how Assailed from all sides sounds like a remix of Speed Star
5:50 "It's gotta be X, 'cause I'm ready for X"

I really love assailed from all sides. Especially in 12:17 and 13:26
And let me remind you that this is still Yakuza.
11:06 if you listen well enough, you can hear that this boss music is remix of "Receive and bite you"
ARAHABAKI PROTOTYPE = THE LICKER
ONRAKI PROTORYPE = EL GIGANTE AND N DESU
TSUCHIGUMO PROTOTYPE = NOVISTADOR

Never failed to amaze me💪💪💪❤️
Now I want to play this game, sucks it’s only on ps3. Now I want to see this on ps4/5/Xbox One/Series X
very nicely done, thanks a lot!!
This feels like the 3rd birthday, but better.
Yakuza Deadsoul are underatted
Yeah, is my favorite game
Cry... is so amazing, all of them are great^^
RAWRRRR- *Zombie noises*
Bruh, we need a remaster of this game no cap.
Or at least a re-release
Good job 👍!
@@RandomCollection04 I'm the one who has to thank you, you're welcome 😁
@@RandomCollection04 This game is basically Yakuza meets Resident Evil, which is epic in every way
All these bosses look so Resident Evil ish.
Even the highlighted "weakspots"
These are monster are like similar to the ones of The House of The Dead.
Is funny since both games were develop by Sega
Imagine the soundtrack in a Resident Evil game.
try modding any of these tracks into an RE game yet?
flying swallow sounds a lot like a gt3 daiki kasho composition
Yakuza: Operation Raccoon City
U gonna post them separately one day??
@@RandomCollection04 upload "octopus"
kiryu kills venom?
