You can still factory reset with black screen by doing what she said, hold back button & right of circle for 10 full seconds. Don’t know why it’s taking so long to reset. Nothing was ever put on this stick !!?? Still waiting …

Worked well for me. Did steps 1-3 and black screen disappeared. Yay! This was the 4th youtube site. So far so good. Fingers crossed 🤞

I disconnected the cable charger and waited and connected again but didn't show the screen so probably the fire stick got damaged

How long does resetting take? Screen shows, AMAZON FIRE TV WILL RESTART IN A FEW MINUTES SHOULD RESUME NORMAL OPERATION
(under that it says)
If it does not restart, please unplug power cable & plug back in Force restart.
