Hello, gorgeous! I'm Lolli, your Fairy Voice Mother. I am a voice teacher & vocal anatomy nerd specialising in contemporary techniques. I have a degree in vocal performance, and I am studying for a masters degree in voice pedagogy. I sing all the time in styles such as pop, jazz, rock, metal, soul, Hindustani, Carnatic and I am constantly learning and practicing new vocal skills. I just bloody love singing. It's my favourite thing in the whole world, and because I love you, I want you to sing too. I believe everyone can sing, and my mission with this channel is to break down techniques that are so often portrayed as something to be exclusively accessed by people with a special talent. Well. Special talents can be learnt, and I am here to teach them to you.

I remember going to see Led Zeppelin at Knebworth in 1979. It had poured with rain overnight and everyone was a bit damp and miserable. 1st band of the day was Chas and Dave, hardly rock concert material, within 10 minutes everyone was dancing around and singing along. They were brilliant showmen - and if memory serves a little rude 🙂

Ah memories flooding back, went to see Zeppelin at Knebworth vesty in the late 70s, I was sat amongst the cramped mass of peple chilling in a field, with a hangover from hell, when Chas n Dave came on, was not sure what to think at the time but a great memory, early cockny rap I would call it🤔🤣
If you really want a Chas and Dave number to get your teeth into, try "That's What I Like" . It's an absolute classic. I've been trying for years to remember the words all the way through.
