- A VERY strong year for once! There's essentially only two songs that I strongly dislike. The rest, I don't mind. I struggled with trying to find negative things to say about most of the songs (which is a good thing).
Sorry about having to pitch/speed up some of the songs, but it was essential for the video to not be geoblocked D:

I think this year is really strong in my opinion. Lisa, Wiktoria, Liamoo&Hanna and John is my favs. First time in many years I like more then 1 songs haha

The guy at number 28 Bishara is actually older then Malou Prytz number 19.
Difference is that girls usually enter puberty earlier and it doesn't effect their voice the same as it does to boys and this kid doesn't seem to have entered puberty yet.
I was in Friends Arena for the finals .. and when John feat The Mamas performed .. it was a party !! You did know already then he was gonna win .. and poor Wiktoria was walking pass the crowd and it felt noone was looking at her .. everyone was focused on John

I love how you explain everything and I Agree with you.
I really like this year because there's a good ratio between male and female singers and the fact that it's a lot more songs in swedish.
Normally I don't like songs in swedish but I feel like it would be quite nice to actually see a song in swedish in eurovision (not that it's going to happen this year).
As for the quality I feel that we have a bit to go before we go back to the quality we had 3-4 years ago but it's definitely a HUGE step forward from the disaster we had last year (even though there was a few good songs ^^).
What I also like is that every top list I've seen for this year is really different, so that also shows how good this year really is IMO ^^
I agree with some of your choices and disagree with some others but that's kinda the point with different opinions XD

We agree a lot actually, but not on everything. I always love to watch your videos, and if you have time to and the will to, I would be happy if you could watch my top. I love working creatively with videos like this, and I get better, but I still don't think that I ever come close to yours... or the other ones frequently uploading Melodifestivalen-videos. Maybe one day :)

I see u like catchy songs btw this is acually a good list in my opinion the otyers i have seen have all the old att the bottom but u took some of the old that har good perfromances and put them att a reasnoble place:)

About Bishara..everything you wrote for Malou, same goes for Bishara, and to be really honest, her song is more JESC than anything LOL but well this is your list so will not say anything...
I think her song fits better because she is singing something a 15-year old could. Bishara is more "junior" because he is singing about feelings that he 99% can't relate to. That is how I see it. + I think Malou has the more mature voice.
That's a very valid point, I did not think about it that way! Upon listening to the songs some more, I can agree to an extent with your comment. Malou's song is a bit JESC-y, which is something I had completely overlooked when I initially listened to the songs.

26: Hold You (2,5/10) (They sing well but the song sounds more like a remix of popular radio hits (Dusk Till Dawn, Don’t Let Me Down etc) than an actual song, can't give any points for it) (Heat 2)
25: Känner Dig (4/10) (I find the song ok and it is performed well! Well done!) (Heat 4)
24: Not With Me (5,5/10) (I personally like the song but her voice is as annoying to listen to as ever) (Heat 1)

22: I Love It (6/10) (The song isn't that bad but for some reason the lyrics really bugs me) (Heat 2)
21: Låt Skiten Brinna (6/10) (I like the song overall but the chorus is really boring and nothing really happens. His voice is amazing though) (Heat 3)
20: Who I Am (7/10) (The song is great but as with Wiktoria, her voice is pretty annoying live. Unlike from Wiktoria though she can’t hit all the notes in the song, but it is a pretty hard song to sing though. It would be a great soundtrack for Frozen 2 xD) (Heat 3)
19: Ashes To Ashes (7/10) (I don't find the song that good until the last chorus, that part is amazing! Never really liked the staging either to be honest) (Heat 1)
18: On My Own (7/10) (I expected more from him but it ain’t bad! Love his voice too! But I’m questioning the lyrics too. He’s 15, he’s singing about someone he loves that he wants in his bed… (Taken from the actual lyrics) Yeah, they’re creepy. What did the songwriters think with??) (Heat 4)
17: Mina Bränder (7/10) (This is gonna get raped on the Swedish radio... Don't wanna listen to it too much so I won't get bored of it) (Heat 1)
16: Tempo (7/10) (This is 100 times better than ''In My Cabana'' but I understand why it didn't go through) (Heat 2)
15: Leva Livet (7/10) (The song is great but his performance was messed up) (Heat 2)
14: Victorious (8/10) (It’s too up-tempo for me but it’s not bad) (Heat 3)
13: : Om Om Och Om Igen (8/10) (The song is great and the performance was amazing, I don’t understand how it didn’t go through)
12: Army Of Us (8/10) (This is one of those songs that I just like for no reason) (Heat 2)
11: Kärleken Finns Kvar (8/10) (This is so relaxing… Perfect song to fall asleep to. (Not in a bad way) The performance was great as well!) (Heat 4)

7: Norrsken (9,5/10) (I feel like his mic broke in the last chorus, I couldn’t hear his voice at all. I personally think it’s his second best attempt, Jag Är Fri was better) (Heat 3)
6: Nakna I Regnet (9,5/10) (The song is amazing and the choreographic performance too, but he needs to work on his vocals a lot. Btw älskar dina videor, stay awesome!) (Heat 2)
5: I Do Me (9,5/10) (I could listen to this forever just because of how pleasant it is) (Heat 2)
4: Chasing Rivers (10/10) (In my opinion this is better than ''Hold On,” what a fantastic song!) (Heat 1)
3: Somebody Wants (10/10) (I don’t know why but I really thought they were gonna be my favourites from the heat even before I listened to the snippet, I’m not disappointed) (Heat 3)

I don't think we'll win, but I also don't think we have any Eurovision winners in the line-up this year. I can see a top 10 placement with John, but I can also see a top 10 placement with Hanna Ferm & LIAMOO. Those two are probably our best bets.
