- It’s been nearly 4 decades since it burst onto our screens from the US and now chat show King and comedy legend Graham Norton is here to fill us in on what we can expect in a brand-new series of the cult classic ‘Wheel of Fortune’. From the wacky stories the great British public bring to the wheel to hosting his own very competitive version over Christmas, Graham will be telling us all about the game show that can make contestants £50,000 richer.

Graham is so consistently likeable and low key. He doesn't give me fake "nice" vibes - his face is a roadmap of all the good humor and laughing he's done his whole life. There's no mask there, it's just him. Lovely human.

People call Jimmy Fallon fake but he's a genuinely nice person from people who have met him. He does talk over his guests too much though and Graham is good at letting them tell stories.

I firmly believe Graham is the greatest talk/chat show host in the entire world and has been for 25 years.
He has that lighting fast, Irish wit. The gay part only super-charges it. He never fawns over his guests as though they were unapproachable. He has a gift of bringing out the human in everyone.
He is showing his competitors how it should be done.

Stephen Colbert is easily as charming, well loved and even better at physical comedy and timing, but his interview skills aren't as good as Norton's you're right, he has god tier charm and rizz

To her credit, the female host gave it a bit of a twist with who would you like *together* - because its not just that the two are interesting people but you think they'd have an interesting chemistry.
@@aekelly That's a really fair challenge - and I am not trying to be disparaging about the hosts, who I think have a much harder job in a magazine show than people think. It was much more a positive comment about Norton, who is always so charming :)
I live in America, and I watch your segments from time to time, because This Morning, was one of George Michael’s favorite shows. ♥️ And Graham Norton, is always the best☺️

I was on the WOF when John Lesley was hosting and I agree with Graham that it’s much harder when you’re there.And there was no studio audience either. I answered a question so incorrectly that they restarted it to save my embarrassment! Naturally I wasn’t able to buzz in again on that round.

Maybe i live under a rock or I haven't seen this show for a while. But is that Cat from So You Think You Can Dance? Gosh I love her charm. Grown up had a crush on her on that show . Such a warm funny gorgeous human. Well done darlin'. And Graham is a treasure as always

I just adore Graham as a person and how he runs his show. I love his repeat guests like Greg Davies, Hugh Grant and Sir Ian McKellen. Always interesting and always hilarious. Can't say I'm interested in Brad Pitt tbh, but I understand he'd be a big fish to land.

Oh Cat, £50k is in no way a life changing sum of money. These days it’s not even 2 years salary. It’s a deposit on a house, but it doesn’t mean you can give up work, change your day to day life, it just means you’re not gonna be living payslip to payslip for a while. £500k on the other hand would be, as you can spend it to buy a house outright and then rid yourself of the biggest expense people have, rent/mortgage.
Why are you so focused on the house? You could invest the 50k and making more profit instead of spending them for the deposit of a house
@ a house is an investment, and far more likely to make you money long term.
Of course 50 grand can be life changing. You seem to be of the impression that if you are not setup for life, it cant be life changing. It might be the difference from being short of getting on the property ladder, or easing debt you are stressing about. These are not small things, and that would indeed change your life.
@ that’s life improving, not life changing. Life changing means something you wouldn’t ordinarily be able to do unless you came into a fortune of money. Getting on the property ladder and easing debt are not life changing things, they’re everyday things we ALL aspire to.

Graham Norton is Irish, and that is nae part of the UK. The cardigan appears to be cashmere which puts it out of price range for most. Contacting Graham directly via social media would yield an answer much quicker than asking an anonymous international streaming platform such as this one. And finally, Graham may not know due to either being gifted to him via his husband or family, or he has a stylist.

We’ve watched his chat show for many years. The most Diva person has got to be Madonna. Arrogant, obnoxious, with clear distain for everyone, almost to the point of being an over-the-top parody of a Diva.

I get that the Graham Norton Show is about celebrity interviews and they want to keep the guests happy. However, I don't care who it is, there's no way any guest is worth 9 dressing rooms and then a 10th to charge their freaking phone. Give me an effing break. They should have been asked if there was a problem with the outlets in in 9 dressing rooms they already had. Why would anyone need more than 1 dressing room?
I think it's Jennifer Lopez who wanted nine dressing rooms and then a 10th for her phone.

I don't think Barbara would ever be on a chat show. She is extremely private and a very serious person

Wheel of Fortune has died in the ratings - how ITV gave it a second series begs belief. It just doesn't work. I doubt it will return for a third series. Their 2024 Christmas special hasn't made it into the Top 50 shows over Christmas week.
