    Thorough as always.
    My only possible complaint is that it is TOO thorough. You explained how factories, crates, and garages work when that probably should be a distinct video. On the other hand someone who might be struggling to FIND a radio back pack or LUV would appreciate the extra info.

      It's my eternal struggle. How much in depth do I go. I'd hate for somebody new to watch a video and having to watch 3 others to find out how to get to the point of making something. On the other hand I don't want to be overbearing with all info.
      It's a decision that is done on a gut feelin during editing, not really any clear rules for myself.
      I always hope that at least the chapters give people an easy oppurtunity to skip to a relevant new part if it becomes to "basic".

    Once I have approached Listening Kit and didn't know if it was my allies or enemies, how can I check it?

    • @goostafo9817
      @goostafo9817 Год назад +3

      If the Listening Kit is facing toward allied bases, then it's most likely the enemy's, and vice versa for friendly ones. If I find an enemy kit, I usually just take it apart and turn it around.

      I wonder if you would pick it up and deploy it again if it would count as yours afterwards. I mean if you can steal vehicles why not equipment.

      If it is the enemies it will emit a beeping sound. You can disassemble it and use it yourself, they are not faction locked

    As an ex-EVE Online player, i can say that the building and upgrade mechanics in Foxhole are really damn complicated and convoluted.

    • @FreerkHoltes
      @FreerkHoltes  Год назад +6

      I really want to disagree with you, but I can't ;).
      It is convoluted and complicated (less so when you're more hours in but that should not be an excuse)

    I realy like the "corection" on 7:35. Also all of that can be usefull for partisan prevention since exposed enemy can't do much guerila warfare. Still upkeep of intel network is real headache. Obs. towers and save houses are rare with only bunkers and watchtowers seeming to be viable to protect supply routes but still watchtowers need hammering every day or two in the middle of nowhere and with bunkers you get up to 420m diameter but after quite some effort, maintenance and fuel.
    Watchtowers could realy use inventory for 30 bMats or garrison supplies to sustain themselves for 30h or so.
    Listening kit could be great toy for artilery if you have enemy watchtower close enough to bunker core or other point of interest. I wonder if it can be hidden in bush and if it's visible on map.

    • @FreerkHoltes
      @FreerkHoltes  Год назад +1

      Ah good point about the listening kit. No it is not visible on the map, it does however emit a faint beeping sounds that can be used to find them. And yes, you can hide them in a bush (but that didn't seem like a great idea for the video ;) )

      @@FreerkHoltes That's for sure. Just imagine if someone would make video about stealth then large part of footage would be bushes and landscape with fences :D

    My small chimp mind is overwhelmed. ;-)
    Damn, this is why I just get a gun and die endlessly at the frontline.
    All the best.
    Cheers.

    • @ayylmeo146
      @ayylmeo146 Год назад +2

      No, you can use it by hopping into it with Q and point it at an enemy location using the azimuth and distance. Once you did that you left click and it will give you enemy intel in that area where you pointed it to

    • @FreerkHoltes
      @FreerkHoltes  Год назад +4

      Intel centers "fire" an interception at a certain point (you can set azimuth and distance in the intel center). It will intercept all enemy map intelligence in a 120m radius for 15 minutes (or so)
