Thank you for making this exceptionally simple, especially with the on-screen highlights for buttons and sections. Coming back to this game having completely skipped the majority of the Entrenched update this video has inspired me to try a simple facility next war.
That is good to hear. One last thing I have to add, facilities (even small ones) are prime suspects in a lot of cases of Foxhole burnout so do not let your facilitie determine your life
I bought this game two years ago and I still make sure to watch every tutorial of his just in case something is new / changed. I can confirm every single one of his tutorials are PERFECT for a from-nothing-to-something.
regardless of what he says. do NOT build a fuel runner to refill your power plants. you only get 1/4th the total fuel per run if you were to get a flatbed, and put a fuel container on it. They hold 100 units of fuel (instead of the fuel trucks 25). Build or find a flatbed at a garage, build the fuel container at a construction facility, and use the crane next to the refinery to move it. It's a touch more involved then clicking a button in the refinery.. but, you will only have to re-fuel literally a quarter the amount of times.
@@FreerkHoltes i mean no disrespect - but, even teaching this method to new players is a waste of their time. i look back on how much time i wasted running fuel runners before flatbeds, and it makes me sad.
@@bobhope2380 Learning is rewarding for new people too. I spent quite a while using trucks while I was learning and once I got competent swapped to using flatbeds. The extra complexity of cranes and packaging/unpackaging put me off using them at first.
@@tugman1234 i completely get that. but once you start using flatbeds, you will realize how much time you waisted, and how inefficent it was doing whatever task you were doing.
Be advised, the facilities have seen an overhaul so it might be slightly outdated. I will get around to a new one but for now this does cover the basic ideas.
16:30 Note* That you do NOT need to be inside of the vehicle to get the gas into the power plant. The fuel truck needs only to be close enough for its hose to reach the building and you can refuel the power plant by selecting it while on foot. This works the same for most other things as well.
You are welcome! Bear in mind that things might be slightly out of date so do not hesitate to ask questions ingame, pleny of ehlpful people runnign around there
Most faciltities end up cursed unless you're willing to do a lot of redesigning/pre-planning. With time and experience we all will egt better at setting them up
I would agree that (frontline) logi players are getting too many commends compared to for instance midline repairman, medics, trenchdiggers, arty loaders etc. But I think that's more an issue of not commending the other roles enough instead of commending logi players too much
Not to mention there is a prompt to commend logi players when they submit goods and supplies to their destination. No one else has this sort of prompt, not even medics that just healed or revived you!
The general rules and game mechanics for the most part still apply. The production panel changed quite a bit in facilities and I suggest you hover over the different icons in the production panel to figure out what's what, or just ask around in game if you're stuck
Not sure what you mean by "mass stock". The fueltruck can be amde in the garage, and the mass production factory, and can also be put away into a personal stockpile
It's tough to check that without being there. First and foremost; you have to be the original builder of the facility. I also think (but am not sure) you have to reserve it within a certain timeframe otherwise you wont be able to squad reserve it. If you had it previously reserved and the reservation timer lapsed (52hrs) you can never reserve it again, only refreshing the reservation within that time frame works. Facilities these days are changed; and squad reservation will only prevent people from upgrading it, not from using it's stockpile or recipes.
Man you are the best at tutorials, I’m trying to get into logi and you are helping sooo much
Since you are trying to get into logi it seems that you will be helping sooo much as well! Keep it up and happy deliveries!

The true hero of the Foxhole community. Thanks a lot Freerk!

Thanks for the tutorial! Looking forward to part 2!

part 2, deals with this :D. I started this way cause not everybody has a flatbed at the ready at the beginning of a war

I appreciate doing something inefficiently because its a dopamine boost to learn something that is more efficient
Like, without watching - thanks for your hard work!
Haven't played in a while, I'm trying to get back into the game, this is really helpful.

Logi commends feel so broken. I’m a sgt with 2 logi runs under my belt and 10 hours of play (maybe 15 after today)

I feel like it's because the soldiers are so thankful for the weapons kits and all there other needs at the front

My only question is, if i can trust a blueberry?!
Still new to the game (maybe 80ish hrs) but am interested in learning logi, is this info still pretty current and up to date?

Do the foundations snap together, or are you just really good at placement?
They snap together.
@@FreerkHoltes wow thanks. Wasn't expecting it to get answered so fast 🤣

so you can not mass stock the fuel truck like before?

Thank you so much for this! Played a ton of foxhole back in 2016. Getting back into it and there is so much new stuff, this helps old farts like me.
why cant i press reserve for active sqwat?

@@Snowmando_TV Ah yes, if you are not in a squad it won't work.
@@FreerkHoltes thank you, now it works
Oh yeah, let's reserve EVERYTHING for squads. Not like it is a team game and all that decaying facilities could be needed.
Blueman bad.
