My childhood phase was full of trauma, abandonment and abuse. It has colored my entire life. I’m 44 and just now seeking therapy as I’m in a dark night of the soul. I’m hoping the rest of my life will be better.
Well, l had very badly childhood which effected next stages of my life. As far as l do understand from Buddhist, none dualism and so on spiritual practices the main point is grounding in present time however in my experience doing regular meditations are substantial. I noticed this video awhile back and became hesitant to watch/listen to it. Some time after having my spiritual awakening I realized that potentially it could be driven by midlife crisis. For some reason this thought seemed to cheapen or lessen the experience for me and I didn't want to accept that possibility. I am glad to have finally listened to your perspective on the matter. It has only served to deepen my understanding and for that I thank you Aion!
