All OTF’s except for just a handful has Blade play.
Medford, Axial, the new Ultratech on the way, to name a few.

I have several Microtech OTF’s, especially some of the new ones and they are all fantastic knives!

im thinking alot about getting one of these hera 2 minis. I wonder how slicey it is behind the edge. I had an ultratech before and that blade is chunky as heck. I prefer my edc knives to be more thin at the edge. does it seem to be thick at the edge like an ultratech or utx 85?

Yeah I wouldn't call it thin. It's not as slicey as a lot of my other edc knives. The blade is not very tall. It is pokey and sharp not to mention pretty cool. Don't have either of those but it's not a super slicey blade. Knife is smooth and high quality. The deployment is much easier than other microtech knives I've tried

@@nicksknives7777 that's what I was expecting. All the retailers show the blade stock thickness at about .07 or .08 but considering the grind is so short it has to be steeper. That's too bad. I'd really like it if they did these with a hollow grind

@@mcsquirgle the only double edges that Microtech put out that I would say are truly sharp out of the box are the Combat Troodon and the Dirac Delta. Like you said, the blades are just too narrow to get a good edge on them from the factory. Now their single edges and their Tantos have never disappointed. They’ve been amazingly sharp for a factory edge right out of the box. At least in my experience anyway.
