Great update very thorough I vacuum my bags with the soft brush I hope that’s OK I also have two neverfulls one black epi one damier ebene I wear one in fall and one in winter and I always have them cinched tight as I can get them I hope it’s gonna be OK I store them open so far so good
I just bought one brand new in March! It’s holding up great 3 months in. I have the DE with red interior, just like yours. It’s my everyday work horse bag- but I vow to never put it on the ground unless I absolutely have to (ie. under the airplane seat). Literally my best investment in luxury so far and it’s my first luxury handbag purchase! I’m so happy and am glad others find longevity with the bag!
I love cinching it in both sides if I’m not carrying my laptop. But I do notice slight wrinkles so I ensure that I undo the cinch once it’s not being used. My straps still stand upright which is amazing considering how much I’ve been using my bag daily.
I am looking forward to my next LV bag purchase... but that won’t be until next year!

My mono neverfull mm is a 2011 I bought it preloved in 2014 it only has a little darkening on the handles but other wise it’s in good condition and I haven’t had any issues with it
Great video 👍🏻 I used to have problems cleaning dust at the bottom of purses, but since I purchased “Dustbuster Flex lithium from Black and Decker ( small handheld ) problem solved. I’m very careful because its strong but it does the job without having to turn the inside out of the purse preventing any damage.

Hi, I bought a monogram Neverfull MM in January, brand new. I love the bag but don’t carry it much since it bigger than other bags. My only brand new bag, 5 other preloved and many small leather goods. All monogram.
Love!! I have my neverfull mm damier ebene on reserve on fashionphile. I don’t usually do that but it was such a fabulous deal I couldn’t risk not making it mine! Lol thanks for the wear and tear video just boosts my confidence in my choice even more!
I have a neverfull mm mono and the canvas has done wonderfully over the years but the vachetta is getting pretty dark
My Damier Azure is about 8-10 years old, hard to remember and I can't go check the date code at the moment because I have visitors in the guest room. I carry it often, and I don't baby it. I now use Apple conditioner on the vachetta when I think about it, or if I notice it needs it, probably 3-4 times a year. Before that I used regular saddle soap and conditioner, same that I use on my horse tack/saddles. The leather is about a honey shade now, very supple and pliable with no issues. As for the color of the vachetta, it DOES tan and darken in the sun. If you sit it on a seat of your car the same way all the time, you will eventually notice one side getting darker than the other. I just broke a buckle on the long shoulder strap day before yesterday while I was cleaning/conditioning that handle. It snapped in my hand. I also then noticed the other buckle on that strap is a little warped/twisted along the vertical axis. I guess I'm going to be visiting the LV store (I'm in the DFW area, so luckily we have those) to have those buckles replaced. The interior is fairly clean because I generally use slg and bandannas as liners. The canvas looks pretty pristine, with not a ton of wear, no cracking, and no major marks I have noticed, even being light colored. In all honesty, considering how often I use that bag and how often it gets VERY heavily loaded, I'm pretty impressed it has been so trouble free and lasted so long. I have heard the quality of LV bags has gone down recently. I've had mine for a while, generally, with only a very few newer additions over the years. I looked at my only Abend bag, my Sunshine express purple sequined one, and it has 2 small shallow scratches in the dark finish, some cracking of the finish and wearing of the leather on the zipper pull tab where it loops over the metal zipper pull. I don't use that bag really often, as it is rather huge and VERY sparkly. I think the coating on the Abend leather dries it and keeps the conditioner from penetrating enough to keep the leather supple, contributing to wear and weakness of the leather. Over time, the dark coating (that seems to be like a glaze and not a penetrating dye) sill be likely to crack, flake, and otherwise fail. This is not an issue unique to the color or to LV, but in my experience, happens to things like horse gear and footwear where a colored glaze is used in lieu of a dye that actually penetrates the leather.
I decided against a preloved Neverfull because looking at the wear on dozens online it seemed that they just don’t hold up in quality compared to the 30 year old Alma’s and speedys I was also looking at. I did however buy a lockit horizontal just because of a great price but my next one will definitely be one of the older gals

I. Have the mono Neverfull from 2008. Beautiful condition. I Bought some “ love handles” for the straps where your hands grab the leather. They’re for protection from dirt and patina wear. I got them on Epsy .
Great review, I love Neverfulls Autumn 🥰! I have 5 total lol! I bought my first Mono GM brand new as my late Christmas 2016/ late January 2017 birthday gift that I purchased in February 2017. So far it has a beautiful medium honey patina and I have a few spots that are darker to me from wearing baby oil 😬(I learned the hard way lol). My next 4 were all pre-loved from the FB group. I got some amazing steals. My second neverfull was the (2017, no pouch, no receipt )DA MM, I never would of thought to get a DA but the price was amazing around $1050 I believe because it had some water marks. When I got the bag those watermarks were barely noticeable, no other wear in excellent condition and it’s like I had a new bag. My third was the (2017, receipt, no pouch) LE Kabuki neverfull. It’s actually a go to bag for rainy days lol and I get so many compliments as it’s so different. I live in NYC so everyone has a bag. My fourth was the (2017, no receipt, no pouch) DE GM neverfull, I only got it because of the price literally a 2017 bag for $1000 no wear in excellent condition, I had to grab it 🤦🏾♀️🤣🤣. My last was the (2016, no pouch, no receipt) LE Neverfull Bay Chains for $1195 in excellent condition no wear, this matches my LE Speedy Bay Chains from that same collection. Everyone head turns when I walk in or around lol.
I usually only buy bags with receipts but for the neverfull I seem to be okay without them as long as their condition is up to par. I don’t need the pouch as I have one from my first ever LV of my neverfull and I don’t even use it. I used it twice (wedding as a clutch and run to store). Autumn I love that FB group, I never would of thought I would own one let alone (14 LV bags smh). I first was babying them and now I’m like “nope, I’m wearing this bag with whatever” ! No more Neverfull’s, five is enough or is it lol 😂😂🤣🤣
I had the red show up on the corners of my Neverfull show up quite early on but they never really got worse xx

I also had the pulls split on my Neverfull DE in 2 about 3 years j and I never, ever touched them so they could never explain why it happened. I was lucky enough thet each time I had to have them fixed it as within a year and they did it for free which they normally only do once for free. They haven't split again since the last fix. They also had to fix the handle bwcuser the part near the purse cracked. They just switched the handle I think and it hasn't cracked since.
Hi Autumn, I own many vintage LV pieces (thicker canvas & real brass HW). When it comes to totes; I went with a Large MCM reversible Liz in red. The straps are stronger & attached better, you get two bags in one and a pouch for under $900.

Your Neverfull looks really good, I know you said you don’t baby your bag but she looks well-cared for....I’ve seen Neverfulls in much worse condition over less time.
Better check the NF Pouch, the glazing tends to come off on the edges. Mine shows this issue and I only wore it four times and I really babied it 👎

I was sad that after 7 years the red is starting to show through on the bottom outside corners. Never noticed until about a week ago. Broke my heart but it's becsuer I use it everyday and it is always heavy.
I always love the azur when they're brand new, once the vachetta starts to patina, it just doesn't look as good to me. I'm sure that sounds terrible, it's just an aesthetic thing to me.....
I’ve been disappointed in the wear and tear on my mm in damier ebene. I bought it at the boutique at the galleria and not even at the 3 yr mark my straps began major wear and tear and then by 4 ye mark the gold has started wearing off the d rings on outside. I bought strap covers in the damier ebene coated leather off a shop on Etsy to cover up the largest areas of wear but considering how expensive it is to initially purchase and then now have to pay hundreds to get the d rings and straps fixed I’m thoroughly disappointed.

Do you find the untreated leather to stretch? I just bought the neverfull mm and I feel the straps are awfully tight. I do have larger shoulders - so I’m not sure if I should return or expect them to stretch. Even a half inch would be good haha. Thanks!

Your Neverfulls are in great shape especially considering their ages and use. It isn't a style for me because I'm uncomfortable carrying an open bag, but I do get its appeal for most people. They are both lovely! xoxo

Hi Autumn new sub :) happy 4th, i have a never full i got it last year same one my older items just really feel better quality kinda curious why some newer lv bags feel flimsy for the price of these bags aren't cheap so i wondering why the canvas changed ? really enjoy your videos.
eyelashalot hey girl I saw your comment and knew Autumn wouldn’t mind if I answered your question , so many are wondering the same thing about LV’ and the newer, softer canvas . Here’s what you most likely won’t find out from anyone working at LV , sometime in 2014 ,LV removed an ingredient from their man made canvas ,it was found to be harmful to the environment . Although it was a good move on their part considering it was a harmful ingredient , it was the ingredient that made their canvas feel thicker almost and for sure much more durable . I just purchased a very vintage LV bag and can’t wait to actually see the comparison to my newer model bags . While I think the softer canvas works and may be a great thing for some style bags ,for others it just makes it seem flimsy and cheap . I don’t know if my newer model bags will truly last the amount of years their vintage bags have . I guess all we can do is wait and see . Hope that helps . I agree I prefer their older quality to their newer quality ,probably why I have been looking at vintage LV so much more , this will be my very first vintage LV bag , I think I will have to come off of my hiatus and do a video on it for sure and talk about the quality changes . 🥰🥰
Lee Lee LV i have noticed that too.. i have a vintage speedy and just bought a brand new neverfull and the difference in texture is wayyy different. the vintage is thicker and even the grain on the vintage is larger.
i went vintage on the speedy because the new canvas on the new speedys feels just as light as the new neverfulls.
thanks for sharing that info.. good to know lv changed the formulation for good reason but im so wishing they could go back to something that feels like the oldskool bags lol

I think people overload the neverfull as they feel they need to stuff it up. These are luxury bags and not workhorses 😊

Do you feel like the interior red has faded any over time ? I ask because my mini DE mini pochette while still in awesome condition with some normal wear and tear , the red interior has surely faded some . It’s not as vibrant red as when I first purchased it I believe in 2012 or 2013 I think ,so a bit older than your DE neverfull ,but I was curious ! For my DA bags I did notice that LV has in fact revamped their DA canvas ,the white/cream squares have been made brighter and the blue squares have been made a bit deeper of a blue . Very hard to pick up in photos or on video. I heard another RUclipsr Mention it ,so of course I went to look and compare ,sure enough it has been brightened up a bit . If you want to condition your vachetta ,try loving my bags Autumn ,their products are PH balanced ,have no strong smells and work great for Cleaning and conditioning . Thanks for sharing

No not use a magic eraser. If you're cleaning ebene straps I would use a fragrance free, alcohol free wet wipe or just a clean, soft, damp rag. If you're cleaning vachetta I haven't found a great solution so I can't help you there, unfortunately, but I ruined a vachetta bag using a magic eraser so don't use that.

My Azur Neverfull is a couple of years old, purchased new. The only wear on it is very slight change of the lighter color... Only noticeable when I put SLG's next to it. I have purchased items that I wore a few times that got wear around the corners. ....it really bothered me and usually I just sold them. I know I can't have them redone, reglazed at best, but I am very careful with them. Thus the selloff began. So now I just have the Eva and Neverfull in Azur. Purchased a Coach black Rogue. Had it before, saw Wendy'sloving life on Instagram and her video, and love the pockets and coin purse inside so purchased that. Oh...no wear and tear on my straps yet, just the patina. Not even on the chaps but not strap related. Some of the corner wear did happen on my Speedys over time too.....I said I'd never saw the Ebene one but my SLG's are azur for the most part and don't want color transfer. you don't store in dust bag??
I used to but couldn't always remember what was in them so I now I keep them visible, out of dust bags. I keep my closet door closed so the bags get almost no light or dust. Even if I wanted to keep the Neverfull in the dust bag, the one LV gave when when I bought it only fits when the bag is folded flat...and I don't want to store it folded.
The quality is going downhill! The ebene handles will peel over time. The clear coating will peel so I'll stick with the original vachetta leather.
