The main problem I see with Paul’s approach is constantly spiking insulin. I think this ages people quicker regardless of what Paul thinks. His hair has greyed severely and I noticed same in myself over a year. I’m going to switch into a less frequent feeding window.
I am hoping Carnivore will put my IBS into remission. I had peanut butter and strawberries lastnight and it tore up my stomach big time and was bloated all day.
have you done the lion diet? just beef and salt and water? I would imagine someone with serious stomach problems would need quite a lot of time to heal. Just a note, my wife has ibs and she absolutely LOVES a meat based diet. Zero problems for her. However.........When she goes back to foods, accidentally or otherwise, her reaction to these is worse. It appears that time away form the irritator does make your stomach heal, and you will likely feel great, but I would say, find a way to make it a lifestyle. Find those foods that are repeat offenders and just dont ever go back to them. For me I cant do chick peas, onions, mushrooms, but things like blueberries, avocado even spinach is absolutely fine with me. Whilst you have this diet, carnivore, find outt which foods are the offenders and find out the foods that you could swap back in there that you enjoy. That way that can become your lifestyle. Meat based with a selection of well chosen other foods that agree with you.
@@Edgycoo That's pretty much the carnivore diet which I have done but not completely eliminating dairy. It definitely helps and I've slowly reintroduced certain foods to see what bothers me. That's great it works for her. When I first tried it and cut out fiber it's like all the sudden my digestive system went to feeling normal.
@@Edgycoo It's all a learning experience. Even now I will include something back and regret it. I still eat "animal based" mostly. But a ton of carbs and fiber together is a recipe for disaster for me personally.

It's definitely worth a try. I think I had the least amount of stomach discomfort in this diet overall.

@@studentofphysicalculture totally agree on fibre. For me pineapple, papaya, mango, dream fruits. Such good smooth fibre
