Was such an interesting experience driving this DB7. I was expecting wooden dynamics hidden under a stunning shell and interior, and instead found genuine athleticism and sporting prowess through the neutral chassis, communicative steering and excellent brakes. That engine is an absolute masterpiece too with a noise perfectly suited to a powerful GT. The DB7 is an excellent blend of the muscular Astons of the past and the delicate sporting ones of the present, wrapped up in a package that can now be called 'retro'. What more could you want...

Great review. DB7 still looks great today. Brilliant homage to the earlier DBs whilst also allowing Aston to move towards larger scale production and a new svelte design platform. Still with a plate on the engine to show who carried out the final inspection. Great GT car and well suited to the ZF gearbox.
