Exactly. I still play Elden Ring more than any other single player game. If the DLC is about the size of Limgrave, then that's another minimum of 20-40 hours-ish (at least for me)
I dont think anyone expected there to be multiple. Question was just asked for the sake of confirming expectations. The only FromSoft game that didnt multiple DLCs well was DS3, and while both DLCs had plenty of great moments, many mentioned the pacing of that memorable content to be off compared to main game. Also Armored Core may be getting DLC too (hopefully), so looking forward to that
I'm sure Bethesda will say "You all complained, we listened, we're strongly interested in making the space travel more realistic. Unfortunately we were unable to redesign the universe. So in order to make the travel time more realistic we've added space ships with propellers.

Valkyrie profile was a good series with a lot of fans but hey let’s make a new one that has nothing to do with the series and make it linear and boring to boot. Oh then we can make FFXVI and remove any possible customization of jobs or weapon types just a FF-DMC hybrid that has no challenge with basically unlimited potions. Let’s throw in mmo fetch quests for subpar loot too while we are at it.

3 huge DLC's would have take years. Development of games takes a lot more time nowadays, DLC's too. Triple A games that start development now, will be released on the next gen console. Elden Ring's DLC(expansion) is gonna be released after 2-3 years of game's initial release, you can see that there would be no point of releasing 3 DLC's when it would have take almost a decade to have the complete game. Better move to a sequel or new IP.
If they would just remake Final Fantasy 11 keeping its integrity so it's different than 14 then Square Enix would be golden. Having two hit MMOs instead of one.
You get the time and content of 3 DLC's in 1 big expansion, probably more than 3 DLC's. Seriously no one has played Dark Souls(1-3) DLC's? They were great DLC's, but most of them were like 5 hours long.

This is classy AF (and what they did with Bloodborne). Myazaki’s team (FromSoftware) created such an immense amount of quality content that he didn’t want to split up for story integrity- and ended up saving us gamers money on multiple installments
I like Hades in terms of gameplay, but my god studio decisiom to make it unecassarily woke is so frustrating. The studio that made Hades did some other good games, when it comes to gameplay they know what they are doing.

When devs were asked about it, they answered - "we don't really know what color gods had". As if there were no depictions through art. Their answer basically dodging the subject while also condescending. I don't have issues with gay people but I hate when politics are forced into the game.
how is it woke? the gods are personifications of concepts and their appearances have varied widely across different periods. a lot of characters in greek myth would also probably be lgbtq today
