    I've got my white dial 104 on the fine link. I bought a couple of other straps (distressed brown leather and canvas) when I first got it but still haven't swapped anything over two years later.

      White dials always look good on brown straps as do cream ones , I have some myself

    Hi Mr Spring (or can I call you Click?), you're quite correct, that bracelet really does elevate the watch to a superior market segment. The question for manufacturers is whether they cut corners and costs by compromising on the bracelet or whether they take advantage of the positive effect a good bracelet has on a watch. How is your course going? Are you bushing and machining now? Are you still on clocks or have you started on watches now? I'm glad you still have time to post new videos... 👍😀

      Barry is ok Robert :)
      As for the bracelet I find most people prefer the H-Link but I like the fact there is an option,
      The course is going great I'm going to do an update soon, we starting working on clocks now and using the machines .
      As for the reviews I may only do 2 a week now as the is so much course work to be getting on with and the reviews take up so much of my free time chap

      It’s another reason I think for the 104 as a great one watch collection , H link it’s a cool tool watch fine link more classy and leather strap dresses it up some what and after all that you have 200m of WR to boot

    Hi Mr Barry, like that cool Fine link bracelet, but missing the micro adjustment not for me rather have my H link from Sinn or the Silicone strap living in hot weather country it’s almost a must have a quick adjustment, I’ve got a question for you, when would you do a full review on the new Sinn clasp that are present on the newer T50 BronzeGold 125 models? Plus the newer grey silicone straps waiting for your review’s Barry, about Bergeon tools what can you recommend the aluminium versions or the ones with kind of rubber or silicone thank you very much for your nice reviews please show us the new Sinn models T50 titanium or the BronzeGold 125 ( very expensive but…) all the best mate ! Keep up with your good watch Vlogs

      Hi again Jose, do the new Sinn's have different clasp's ? as for the Bergeon tools do you mean the screwdrivers ? if so I really not a fan of the type with the silicone rubber around them they just feel cheap Sir

      @@ClickSpringReview hi , thanks from what I’ve seen in new models T50 Titanium, BronzeGold 125 ( 😳💰) Sinn’s video shows a new grey Silicone/Rubber strap quite cool looking actually and from what I’ve saw it looks new clasp ! Maybe be fooled by the small butterfly clasp but … , as for the Bergeon screwdrivers I thought I’ve seen those in your “desk reviews 🧐” have bought one 1,20 mm Tri-wing red tip at top and it didn’t last nothing was trying to adjust steel bracelet ( lots of loctite ) and it bend 😳 almost din’t made too much force anyway was asking you just your opinion thank you for the input Mr Barry!
      Got a another question have installed a rubber strap Borealis and today was trying to remove it from one of my watch’s impossible have trying different spring bar tools doesn’t came of can’t believe on that I think or I’m sure it fitted ok plus have already removed it and last summer leave it on the watch can you please have any additional advice how can I remove those spring bars stuck in the lug holes almost want to grab a metal saw 😠 ? Bent my spring bar went to another one nothing it’s stuck I both sides I guess these are Sinn’s spring bars my mistake! As you know Borealis doesn’t send any, and the Sinn ones are bit larger diameter… my fault.
      Sorry for such huge msg! ☮️

      If there is a lot of loctite on it one thing to try is placing the bracelet in some hot water for a few mins to soften it and then try and remove the screw ,
      Did you use the right spring bars? some are made for drilled lugs only and so don't have a shoulder to allow the tool to remove them and rely on a pin pusher pass though the lugs , there is a trick were you can use fine cotton to remove the bar or being its a rubber strap a set of cutters can be used , as for the screwdriver here are my two favouritesruclips.net/video/kblLH_y3PC0/видео.html

    Fine link really does look good on the 104. Thought about doing the same for mine but I need micro adjustments.
    May I ask where you got the steam punk themed watch stand in the background? I'd like to find one for my son who's in the watch rabbit hole now as well. Cheers

    I thought the fine link would be great but not so sure now. I found one boxed like yours (unworn) for £200 on ebay. I have a large wrist so didn't need to remove any links and it's very comfortable. It just doesn't suit me, so It's currently on a black bund strap not getting much wrist time unlike my 358 on a dark grey zulu with matching hardwear.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi the best way is to apply some pressure on the bracelet after you release the spring bar. most importantly is not to allow the bar to go on top of the lug because if you do it may scratch it

    I have the fine link on my 104 ST SA A. Will probably add a good quality vintage brown leather strap soon though.

  • @goodwolf152
    @goodwolf152 9 месяцев назад +1

    I think the fine link looks best, primarily because it matches the shape of the lugs. It very nearly makes it look like an integrated bracelet, the lugs transitioning into the outer links, and the butterfly clasp keeping the aesthetic unbroken all the way around the wrist. Definitely less tool-y, but perhaps even more in harmony with the original design.

  • @markenlightenment7101
    @markenlightenment7101 Год назад +1

    Isn't it possible to swap the clasp in the fine link bracelet for the clasp in the other bracelet? I am really considering getting the sinn, but the lack of micro adjustment in that bracelet is a big eff for me.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  Год назад

      Hi Mark , no it isn't but remember you do have a half links I've never found it a problem myself . I'd say 90% of all butterfly clasps are the same as this , once I set my bracelet thats pretty well it for me I find 👍🏻

    I hear what you're saying in the vid, the 104 looks great on that 5-link. But my preference (and of course it is subjective) by far is the go-to H-link. Second place by far would be a quality NATO (with the keeper cut off) in black/grey/blue. Everything else is 3rd.

      @ClickSpringReview  Год назад +1

      Thats fair enough Sir, I've mine at the min on a fine link but I do like to swap it around with the H-Link it came with, It also looks good on the Sinn silicone strap

      @@ClickSpringReview I bet the 104 *would* look great and wear comfortably on a nice fkm waffle or (and I feel like this would vibe great with the watch) a retro tropic strap. I'd never considered that for some reason, just really *not* feeling the watch (or really any watch) on the thick leather strap Sinn provides, so kinda mentally disregarded all 2-pc. options.
      I think subconsciously that's what I admire & desire about the 104 I St Sa: it's "strictly business" aesthetic lends itself to versatility. It's a great watch that would look and wear well on anything.
      In other news: Think I'm ordering mine in anthracite & H-link tomorrow to reward myself for 5 yrs at my current job + 5 yrs clean & sober life. What's all that hard work for if not the occasional indulgence? 🤷🏼

      @@ClickSpringReview 👍 Thanks for saying so. Five years ago, I'd have thought five years might as well be a lifetime! Making grownup choices, I've learned, allows one to spend money on grownup things. It seems like a proper splurge - also, 40th b-day present to self. I am really feeling the anthracite (🤷🏼 but can't beat the clean, classic black! I have similar dials in black already though [62MAS is pretty close, also clean/legible & function-first with a slim black bezel], I'm going grey sunburst for the 104). Those Borealis straps are 🔥 BTW, thanks for the heads-up. 👀

    Sinn used to be great, but they are living in the 2000s. I think the H-link bracelet they use is from 2005 and that clasp is horrible. Also, Sinn needs to start using "ceramic" bezels.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  Год назад

      I'm a fan of the H-Link its a solid design the clasp I've never had a problem , I know some would like on the fly micro adjustment but the cost of one of these clasps from many other brands cost around $200/350.
      I do agree I'd like to see more ceramic bezel inserts like that on the103 classic in the line up 👍🏻
