Great video, thanks you for uoloading. I'm 6 months into ownership if my 104i St Sa (beautiful grey sunburst/H-link) and I completely agree with you: Sinn is like a "secrest handshake" between watch ppl. If you know, you know. Its perfect *for me* and I couldnt be happier. The ONLY real problem is this: now I want a white 104i, and a 105. The 556i RS is on the way to me now. Good problems 😏💸💸💸 Great vid, thanks again. 👍
Watched this video when you released it. Convinced me to go with a Sinn for my one watch collection. Just received a 556A for its legibility, simplicity, and utility aaand love it to bits! Great vid!
That's awesome! The 556 has been on my short list for a while and it was a tough decision between this and the 104 when I bought it. Enjoy your new watch! :)
Got my 556i two weeks ago and love the watch it is built like a tank with great dimensions fits my 6.75 inch wrist perfect. so far extremely accurate at -2/+2... only issue would be the clasp it’s tinny and a little big for bracelet .
Yeah that's what makes me like it as well! Pilots watches usually don't have good water resistance, but this pilots watch has the resistance of a divers watch!
I enjoyed your video of the Sinn 104 I St Sa. I also recently purchased the limited edition white dial all Matte version and couldn't be any more happier with it. I added it to my collection of Keepers. Which are Rolexes, Omega and other fine luxury pieces. It fits right in.
I’ve just stumbled across your channel today, I enjoyed the review so much that I’ve subscribed. Possibly my next watch, competing with an Oris Divers 65. Also, great choice with the Barbour lightweight, I own that same jacket and it’s excellent.
I really like the syringe hands, really makes it stand out from comparable models

Just ordered the same model from Chronomaster UK . This is a great looking/designed quality German watch and my Rolex Sub is taking a holiday from my wrist in favour of it. The price is great also for the quality. German engineering .. 👍
I have many watches from Sinn and they all have been great. I usually chose one to wear if I'm doing some kind of outdoor activities. I did actually have a problem with my 356. I somehow cracked the acrylic crystal the SECOND day I had it. Sinn fixed it free of charge. I also asked them to regulate it. They said they personally like to regulate the watches a little fast +5 to +10. Their reasoning is over time the watch will gradually slow down as it ages and requires servicing. This has been true to my experience because all my Sinns and I have 4 of them all were like +5 fast. My only gripe with Sinn is I do not like the AR coating on the top of the Crystal as it gets scratched easily and there's really no purpose for it. And they should have more configurations for their watches. Like I wish I could get a 103 with a display back and non screw down chronograph pushers. It's only available with the solid caseback version which is dumb. Anyway enjoy your watch hopefully you explore further into the brand they are great value for money.
Interesting, thanks for your comment!. The Sinn 356 is very high up on my list and among the watches I might buy this year. I love Sinn as a brand and they have many models I am interested in but the 356 is just such an attractive watch. Breaking the acrylic crystal is however also one of my fears since I am not one to baby my watches, so I might just get the sapphire edition instead. With that being said, I do think that the acrylic crystal is part of what makes this watch so charming in the first place. :)
In my opinion Sinn should be praising you because I had never heard of this watch until you featured it. Then I bought it. I have no regrets buying it. It is a wonderful watch that I will keep in my collection. I just wanted to point out that a similar quality and priced watch brand is Ball. Check out Ball watches with Tritium gas. I think I like my Ball watches more than the Sinn because they have the 24/7 glow.
I enjoyed the video. I wish you would’ve showed how you can adjust the bracelet and also if the crown screws in. I also wish you said what color the dial was. I know there’s several different ones. Despite all that I appreciate you filming this.
I have a 104 as well which I've had for almost a year now, never had any problems with accuracy and it usually runs +1 or 2 secs a day. It really is a great watch for the price range and I've enjoyed it a lot. Though with the new U50 release I might have to let it go for an upgrade.
I've worn a Sinn EZM3F as my everyday watch for nearly 3 years now. From day one it's been +2 seconds a day, and, like you, I use the countdown bezel all the time. Did Sinn explain why yours stopped?
Hi, gutes wording.
Good review that, and a watch I've been eyeing for a while. It has a luxury feel about it without being luxury brand money. There's an old world feel about it, but it also feels contemporary somehow. Shame you didn't offer some insight on the bracelet; most people seem to like it but I hear the buckle is a bit basic? Enjoyed the review, thanks.
I recently bought a Sinn 556i on the H link bracelet as my every day tool watch but I am tempted to get the 104 as well ! TBH I think if Sinn created in-house movements that would be a bad thing because one of their selling point is they use Sellita & ETA movements which can be fixed basically anywhere and they use a top grade which they regulate within COSC parameters. People who buy these watches are after pure utility without the luxury stigma and going to an in house movement moves away from that utility as it not as easy to get your watch service when you need to and will cost a lot!
Wit the price increases this isn't quite the jump it used to be from the 556. While do not really like the shape of the 104, it has a lot more character, than the 556 and is if i'm not mistaken an original Helmut Sinn Design.

Hey, may I ask what your wrist size is? I usually wear much smaller watches but I'm looking for a good everyday watch which is also water resistant. (The sinn 104 is, isn't it?) I'm just afraid that it would be too big on my 6.5" wrist. Nice video btw! LG

I haven't tried the fine link bracelet but I generally prefer the foldover clasp of the H-Link over the butterfly clasp of the fine link. Also I think the H-Link looks a bit more tool-ish and less like jewelery, which in my opinion fits the 104 better. :)
I wish the Sinn 104 had ceramic bezel and better clasp. The Sinn H-link bracelet clasp used on many of Sinn's watches is garbage and feels cheap (stamped metal, doesn't match the rest of the watch).
beautiful watch, half year ago i wondered myself..., to buy and oris, a sinn 104 blue, a steinhart ??? yes, is not chronometer certificate, good accuracy 1,2,3 sec/day, is cosc. what a lot i like is the day, date complicacion. no only a date, as almost of nowadays watch have. finally i bought an tudor black bay, blue dial. here yes, they gave me an cosc certificate. it runs 0,8.......0,9 sec/day. bat sinn is sinn.... eine deutsch präzisionen maschinen, all my respect (maybe some mistakes in my english an my joke in german). wear your watch in food health.
Not a fan of the day complication (pointless in watches imo) clutters the simple dial, and prefer a smaller bezel which shows the case more. Seems to wear quite large, would be better around 39 to 40mm. Also that much $ for a Selita..... Ouch. I've heard some horror stories about Sinn QC.
I own numerous Sinn’s including the 104 white dial. Out of all of my watches, my Sinn’s hold a special place my heart.
As a watch guy I think the 104 remains one of the best values in high quality watches. Sinn is a way under appreciated brand IMHO. Nice review!

I prefer watches with the numbers on them. not just notches where the numbers are suppose to be. I just think watches look better with the numbers.

Hey, may I ask what your wrist size is?
I usually wear much smaller watches but I'm looking for a good everyday watch which is also water resistant. (The sinn 104 is, isn't it?)
I'm just afraid that it would be too big on my 6.5" wrist.
Nice video btw!

The 104 is offered in the H-link bracelet or the fine link version. Is there a reason you like the H-link more?
I haven't tried the fine link bracelet but I generally prefer the foldover clasp of the H-Link over the butterfly clasp of the fine link. Also I think the H-Link looks a bit more tool-ish and less like jewelery, which in my opinion fits the 104 better. :)

half year ago i wondered myself..., to buy and oris, a sinn 104 blue, a steinhart ???
yes, is not chronometer certificate, good accuracy 1,2,3 sec/day, is cosc.
what a lot i like is the day, date complicacion. no only a date, as almost of nowadays watch have.
finally i bought an tudor black bay, blue dial. here yes, they gave me an cosc certificate. it runs 0,8.......0,9 sec/day.
bat sinn is sinn.... eine deutsch präzisionen maschinen, all my respect (maybe some mistakes in my english an my joke in german).
wear your watch in food health.
in GOOD health. that touch screen kill me.
Sinn is never under ze radar
The Mnandi stole the show...
haha glad you cought it! That thing will get a lot of pocket time in the summer for sure! And its own review video 👌
what makes this watch great is only "2 lines of text"... Sinn and Automatik. It's not like Tudor or Seiko Prospex.
I agree, its beautifully simplistic
It would wear better if you didn't wear it over your wrist bone.
2023 and that watch is now $1,740us
Not a fan of the day complication (pointless in watches imo) clutters the simple dial, and prefer a smaller bezel which shows the case more. Seems to wear quite large, would be better around 39 to 40mm. Also that much $ for a Selita..... Ouch. I've heard some horror stories about Sinn QC.
Worlds most expensive SW200 !
Actually not. Oris take that prize.......
