    It’s is what comet called them when they first came out. Also by definition they are a torque converter. Just not the same as the one when you think automotive. I’ve actually had good luck with them.

      That's what I had always heard them called.

    Centrifugal pulley system, not a torque converter, (variable speed by engine RPM & centrifugal force!) It is not true on the shaft, and destined for failure!

      That is 100% a go kart/mini bike torque converter LOL. Google is free.

      They call them a torque converter when you buy them and that's what I have always heard them called. It is true on the shaft. That lock washer is a little wonky and makes it look that way while running.

      @@rockman49er I sold that go kart. I could probably find out from the current owner how wide it is though. Or I have another one now that I could measure. It’s in one of my RUclips shorts.

      @BlackLabGarage I ordered a 30 series tourqe converter so I need an axle with the right sprocket to match it

    • @BlackLabGarage
      @BlackLabGarage  Месяц назад

      @@rockman49er if you mean the right sprocket to match the chain size, the torque converter from Vevor comes with two sprockets depending on what chain size you use. Mine had both #35 and #40 sprockets with it
