Great commentary on the bolt thread issues! In my younger days I worked at a local hardware store, and occasionally had to explain to customers why the bolts or screws wouldn't go in easily, often after they'd forced them in far enough to do damage. I'm sure your warning has saved several people from needing to replace the cover plate on their engine, or the whole engine if they couldn't find a replacement cover plate.
Thank you! You just got a new subscriber, my engine is a 212 with 9+hp and I’m planning on buying a green spring with a higher quality juggernaut driver due to the rpm being 6000, so I just needed this cheaper one to modify so I can save money
Needs to be a 3/4” crank shaft and the primary clutch bolt needs to thread in the end of the crank. These are made for the 5-6.5 hp brigs and like engines. Don’t know if it will work on you 49cc FS.
This same issue took me 2 weeks to fix i had the same issue i got the cold bolts lol but my spring on my converter came in black and not red green or yellow so what is a black spring/ by the way i ordered my stuff from monster scooter parts so be careful
I got frustrated with my predator engine so i installed a briggs 3hp im thinking about trying one of these torque converters to help the little motor out. Have you had anything fail dangerously?

Thanks for watching.
That washer is also used to secure the snap ring behind the nylon nut just in case it was to wear over time of use
Lock tite or similar is good insurance on all those fasteners even the nylock.
Blue threadlock for the win!

Thanks for the sub
Watching after I put it on I used the bolts that came with it and it was not that easy to bolt on
Any reason this shouldn’t work on a 49cc 4 stroke? Would the only variable really be there hole mounting pattern?

Nope. It is still running strong.
Can you please remake this video as an endurance/ reliability and tell everyone it works great a year later …. Jerk
I had it for 8 months then sold it. To my knowledge it is still running good.
