    Excellent video!! Wondering... if I have white filled letters, outlined in color, and plan to put on a white shirt, could I skip printing the white altogether?

    • @elegant_edits

      For this, you would need to remove the white in your image, with your graphic editing software, such as Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop. I demonstrate how to do this in my DTF Printing Mastery Class.

    Hiii, can you tell me how to change the color setup on the printer? I saw you said you’d want to change it but I’m not sure how. Thank you in advance

    • @elegant_edits
      @elegant_edits  Месяц назад

      Are you referring to the setup on the actual printer, or through AcroRip? If you want to change the ink configuration on the printer itself, it will really depend on the specific model printer that you're using. If you're using the Stylus Pro or SureColor Pro series, you would have to remove the chips from the refillable ink cartridges and swap the carts to the appropriate channels, while ensuring that the chips stay in the original channel, as each chip is flashed to correspond to that specific channel. If you need further help with doing this, please schedule a consultation with me and I will assist you personally. Here is my services page: www.popdtf.com/book-online

      You can do it in photoshop, but I would have to see the image, in order to guide you through it. I also have a prerecorded Master Class on how to do this in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Please consider joining the Class. Just go to popdtf.com and create an account. Next, you'll receive an email confirmation with a link to join the Mastery Class.

    Under Color Management, what setting do you use for "Print Setting?" Do you leave it at User Defined Print Setting? There are DTF settings should I use one of those? Thx

    • @elegant_edits
      @elegant_edits  7 месяцев назад

      If you're using the printing preferences option, you can leave color management at the default setting. The AcroRip will override the settings in the dialog box.

    Just out of curiosity,
    If i had a sheet of A3+ film 13"x19" or what wver it is. What would be the max print area. I have heard that people have problems printing full page or near as. I wouldnt expect it to be borderless

    • @elegant_edits
      @elegant_edits  3 месяца назад

      From what I remember, I ended up having to leave around two to three inches of empty space at the end of the sheet. This is because the guide rollers have to be able to push the sheet through. So, around two inches represents the length of the print track, from the guide rollers. You'll just have to run a test print and see where it bottoms out

    • @elegant_edits
      @elegant_edits  5 месяцев назад

      Well, it would depend on the type of inks you're using and whether or not you have an ICC profile, for color management. You can also try to play around with the ink limit percentage values. How this will work is if you notice that the colors appear darker than you want, you can lower the ink limit percentage for color. If you want to schedule some hands-on training via video call, I also offer that as a service, here: www.popdtf.com/book-online

    How do you add multiple images to 1 template to print? Or how do you make a gang sheet in actorip 10.3?

    • @elegant_edits
      @elegant_edits  5 месяцев назад

      In order to import multiple images into one job, you will need to upgrade to AcroRip 11, since it has the image nesting feature. We sell AcroRip v11 at popdtf.com. If you want to build a gangsheet for use with AcroRip v10, you will need to build it in your design software. I show you how to build a gang sheet in Adobe Illustrator, in my Mastery Class, found here: www.popdtf.com/challenges

    • @elegant_edits
      @elegant_edits  7 месяцев назад +2

      You can try increasing the ink limit percentage for the white layer. If that doesn't help, you likely have partially clogged white nozzles and the printhead will need to be cleaned. You could also be experiencing ink starvation, which means that there is air caught in either the cartridge, ink lines, or dampers.

    • @redgeminipa

      I'd start by doing a paper towel and Windex soak under the printhead for a minimum of 30 minutes. Once that sits, floss (shoe shine) the printhead, followed by a power clean - or at a minimum of 2 regular head cleans, waiting about 5 minutes between cleanings.

    How do you make the white darker on the back of the image when it’s printing ?

    • @elegant_edits
      @elegant_edits  5 месяцев назад

      You will need to go to the color tab, on the lower-right side of the screen. Near the top, where you see the ink limit percentage, in the white field, increase that percentage by a few percent, for the white to appear heavier. If your white layer is very thick, or the ink is pooling, you can also lower that percentage for white, and the printer will lay down, less ink.

      You would need to find out which print head your printer uses and then find a printer on the list of compatible printers for AcroRip. Once you have that, it's probably certain; that they share the same driver. This is the only way to sort that out.

    what version of acrorip do i buy for epson 7890 dtf?

    • @redgeminipa
      @redgeminipa 6 месяцев назад

      10.5.7 is the current 10.x version. If you do 11, you'll need Wide Format. If you ever end up with a smaller desktop printer (R3000 etc.), you'll need Standard. Wide Format will only work for Wide Format large printers. 10.x covers all sizes, so it's now twice as much to do all printer sizes with 11.x, nearly $1,000.

    • @elegant_edits
      @elegant_edits  7 месяцев назад +2

      My guess would be that you have to map your color channels out, so that AcroRip knows where your colors are assigned, on the printer. In the color tab, under "Print Settings" there should be a button that says "Setup"; there, you will be able to tell AcroRip what your color configuration is, for the printer. After you save your configuration, you should see the check boxes appear.

    So I just got acrorip v11. I was using an older version before and never had this issue. All my settings seem correct I’ve looked over everything I can think of. But basically when I print it’s stretching my image out like twice as long vertically and it looks distorted. The width seems to match up correctly with how I have it sized but not the length. I’m using an L1800. Any advice what could be causing this?

    • @elegant_edits

      All you'll have to do is right click over the current image select "Open"
      If you import a new job this way, it will open the new image with the same exact settings as the last job. When you close the program, go to file and exit. This will also save all of your settings, just in case you shut your computer down.

      You MUST use an Epson printer with a minimum of 6 ink channels. You'll need CMYK plus 2 white channels. It's best to use printers with 8 or more channels, because if you end up with a completely clogged white, you can always start using a different channel.
