This whole channel is a hidden gem. Such a unique visual style to these brick films. What kind of lens do you use to achieve that hazy-bokeh type of look?
Thank you very much! I use diffusion filters to achieve that type of look - typically a different stack each scene to fit the mood I'm going for. Good diffusion filters can be a bit pricey but they are fun to play around with and can achieve very unique results.
I was at first expecting it to be a tad more serious...but then that nod to American Psycho came. Funny, good animation, a star cast, and the typical Q-Brick cinematography: What more do I need?
As beautiful as per usual! I love that it's available in 4K too, in all its bokeh glory. The sets are really something too 😄 Unfortunately it looks like there are some dead pixels in the upper corner that are visible with one particular lens, I would guess. I had the same problem in my new video and had to paint them out in Photoshop and After Effects 😊
Thank you! Yes, I'm aware of the dead pixels. They start to show when I close the aperture to f10 and beyond. I probably should start to paint them over.
Turned out brill! Knew it would be a banger from the script and you did not disappoint. That sound design really is on point too. The mix of background noises and non-diagetic effects leading up to the heartbeat and music near the end definitely take it to the next level. Mixed the voices in a charm too, despite having no control over recording conditions for each of us.
I've had most of my Castle figs for a very long time. I was a little too young (not even born) when the Forestmen first released but I remember buying a bunch of them used on Ebay in the early 2000s. You can still pick up Classic Castle figs on Ebay but the prices vary greatly.
⚡️⚡️GREAT STUFF⚡️⚡️I’m glad I found your channel I look forward to seeing more of your videos📺 I do mostly TRANSFORMER Stop Motion 🎬📸🎞️ I hope you enjoy my animation‼️ 2:12

This was immaculately lit! I'm curious how you managed to pull off the beads of sweat on the bowman's face
Thank you! The sweat beads are water drops which I "controlled" with a very fine paint brush.
This is definitely my favorite brick film of the year! So simple yet so well animated and hilarious!
Thank you!
Very Nice!

Hi, beautiful brickfilm,
what camera and lens do you use to get such quality?
Thanks! I'm using a Canon 650D (T4i) and native Canon lenses.
Oh my goodness this is amazing! How did you make that sunset look so real?
Thank you! The sunset was a in-camera screen composite.
@@StanleyQBrick oh cool, thanks!
Lmao, this was fantastic 😂
Hehe, thank ya!
Impressive, very nice
Question where do you get your castle figs from besides Pick a brick?
