EXCELLENT, excellent, excellent!!! This was wonderful!! Great story, great acting, excellent camera work, and from beginning to end nobody got shot! Please, . . do it again.
So good! Potentially my new favorite of your Brickfilms, along with the Pickpocket of Steam Central. :) Also the music choice is so perfect, really adds to the feel of an old noir film. Great work once again man!
Another incredible work! I can't wait to rewatch this 100 times over the next few days. As usual, your lighting work was absolutely brilliant and really elevated the film. I can't even begin to imagine how you made the scene at 1:00 with the binoculars move so naturally.
This is such an awesome tribute to the noir genre! Was that soft glow effect something you did in post? Or did you pull a Greig Fraser and use a really dirty lens? Whatever you did, it added so much character to the shots. Superb work! "We will watch your career with great interest!"
Thank you! My favorite film noirs are Pickup on South Street, The Maltese Falcon, The Third Man and Casablanca (if you count it as a film noir, which I think you can)
You know the feeling when something is PERFECT and you just want to yell in the streets that you just saw one of the greatest brickfilms of 2024
Thank you!!
dude, exactly what I'm feeling right now
"You're in the wrooooooonghhhh part'o town, pal!"
Stellar job!! I really enjoyed it. One of the best brickfilms I've seen this year. Bravo! 👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you! I used Tiffen diffusion filters to achieve the glow - and enhanced it in post when needed.
This is so cool i love it
