- Two brand new mods have stormed onto the scene in Path of Titans! One is the Yutyrannus, an apex predator that flips the script on what an "apex predator" should be. The other is Quetzalcoatlus, who is great at following you around and being mildly annoying.

You mentioned that the quetzes should be more able on the ground like other Azhdarchids. Turns out they kind of are. They're actually fast on the ground, and even have attacks that can only use while grounded.
Doesn't stop them from abusing their flight though.

I play quetz it’s actually pretty good at fighting mid tiers aside from sucho and mega
the problem is they shouldn't be able to hover in the air, a pigeon cant do that so how can a giraffe height pterosaur? In real life they couldn't hover and in the air they would have been able to reach very high speeds, possibly over 100 miles per hour when high up. Hovering takes serious adaptations and a small size, pterosaurs could take off and get going even faster than birds though. Basically birds cant get as big or take off as fast as pterosaurs could, but in exchange are more durable since feathers can regrow easier than wing membranes could heal.
it looks like they have nerfed the heck out of quetz, at least when it comes to when its flying XD
it cant attack in the air unless it uses a new move that costs a lot of stamina. If it wants to use its normal attacks it needs to be grounded

The quetz takes and gives so much damage. When you sleep as a quetz, u can heal completely within a minute.; Its actually insane.

@@RECarms_Galia Well I wasn’t being exact. I was exaggerating a little bit. But its still a super fast healing creature. Im always tackled by them in groups. They just fly away and come back completely healed in a few minutes.
The healing thing is just broken comoletoy within the game itself, among other things like damage output and input where large dinos take so much damage from smaller ones and cant kill within 3 bites something that is the size of its head.
Some servers (mostly the realism ones) edit their stats to make pvp last longer or something, but this server you guys played on probably had edited stats and thats why babies were tanking so much. Tic rate also effects how laggy a server is, obviously, so ur hits are harder to land and fast things appear to teleport around.
why tf are realism servers are making fights last longer when most engagements in real life last seconds, most of the hunt is just watching and waiting

That quetz is the least bored path of titans player
The only noticeable differences between Triceratops and Eotriceratops is the size difference (Eotriceratops was a bit smaller than Triceratops) and head size compared to body (Eotrike has proportionally larger head while Trike has proportionally smaller head)

The video is great, but the title is a little corny, but I guess that fits the pesky aesthetic so its fine. also the azhdarchid pterosaurs would have two notable abilities, they probably took off very quickly by pushing off with their wings and some were as tall as a giraffes so would be pretty capable on the ground. Id say mid tier damage but low tier hp pretty much, they also could not hover or anything they had to fly forward and were likely able to fly well over 100 miles per hour but it would have been balanced by the fact they were not agile flyers and could not hover also they would not really have been able to attack on the wing very well.
They were like giant marabou storks which can tussle but only on the ground, however since pterosaurs used the same muscles to take of as to fly they could take off faster than birds and even large ones launched themselves upward.
Pesky titles are either really shitposty or really cringe and clickbaity and there is no in between
The Quetzal actually has really good hp ( 600 ) with 2750 cw ( combat weight ) the only thing that makes it feel squishy is that it takes damage when ramming into the ground, mountains, rocks, trees etc. ( like litterly touching a mountain with you're head would do like 10% of you're hp or even more )
@@zearosss759 it shouldn't have good hp considering that they only weighed like 450 lbs (like 200 kg) which is insanly low for a giraffe sized animal

@@zearosss759 well just because it does doesnt mean it should, i mean they weigh the same as a gorilla and are basically made of popsicle sticks with how frail they would be. They would be capable of damage and taking off like 20 feet in only a couple seconds which is more than enough.

Am i literally the only person who plays quetz like an actual azdarchid, like hunting on the ground? It's way more effective than flying above something and pecking at it, i've killed suchos, spinos, megs, utahs and other stuff SOLO.
The reason the baby giga lived a while is because you were biting him from behind, if you went to bite its head it'd have done significantly more damage
Yutyrannus desperatly needs buffs asap because rn its unplayable unless your in a pack
thats how its meant to be played.. in a pack. if you cant fight on your own then your dino is designed to work in a pack

Pesky saying that this game is fun when you kill people and Z just responding with but you can't kill people because you do no damage is the most true statement I've ever heard about path of titans, the entire roster has twice as much health as it actually should, the hit detection is abysmal to the point where any hit you do land lucky, and bleed does nothing and the base roster has next to no bone breaking dinos, so if someone does get low they can just run away

Pachy is not really that fast or at least when I play it doesn’t feel that way I got chased down by Albertas before and couldn’t get away, I think that player was double speed build or something

You know what would be a complete banger? Making a video in which you compare BoB, The Isle and PoT. I know there are already some videos like that, but it doesn't matter that much as the games are constantly developing (xD) so the videos become unreliable. Such video would probably be a bit time consuming but man would it be something amazing and informative. I would be satisfied even with a low-effort a video where you summarise your attitudes and opinions towards these games. Please dude. Would be awesome.

Quetz is really good on the ground it has 700 ho which is the same as allo and sucho and has over 3000 combat weight which is more than half of the carnis. It claps on the ground people just like abusing the flight capability they should nurf the flight stam and make it drain really fast but buff the flight speed

Maybe they changed it but if the stats that your saying are right he is still really strong more hp than pycno and is heavier than most of the 2 slots which is op when u think about it having a crazy amount of land stam and being fast enough to move out of the way of most things it can also fly away from stronger things. Ima check the stats again and see

1. Those who enjoy both isle and POT
2. Die hard isle players
3. Isle players who tried evrima, got very disapointed and now exclusively play POT
Sadly I'm the 3rd oHo evrima ruined isle for me
4. Console players who have never played the isle
5. BoB players
6. The isle players who were disappointed in the slow development and moved to BoB who later moved to PoT
7. The isle players who played BoB to see if it was better then went back to the isle then went to PoT

@@DiavalGar I know it isn’t really but it is still a dinosaur survival game and it kinda is a bridge between both games since it has a skill tree system which is worse than PoT ability system

hate quetz so much, i got followed by one for 30 minutes and just spammed 1 call and poked at me when i tried doin my quests (i was a rex)
Idk how I feel about you joining a community server and just not knowing the rules. Love the videos but as someone who stays to community server people just randomly joining not knowing rules and doing whatever is super annoying and disruptive to everyone who is involved with people like that. Play as a Theri if you want to do damage lol, they can three shot a rex. Also you have to aim for head or body shots, tail hits do basically nothing
With the precise movement and different attacks the combat in this game is way more fleshed out than any other Dino sim currently. Hopefully pouncing will also be added soon because I feel like that’s a pretty important method of attacking for immersion, also the most important thing that they need to fucking fix is the lag and ping between console and pc players, it’s horrendous. Even if you have good wifi, if you play on switch you are teleporting for everybody else

@@TheOneTruePesky I haven't delved too in deep with the rules but its more so a case of the admins don't moderate the semi realism servers so therefor no one follows the rules even though there *are* rules. That's why if i actually want to play realistically you go to places that are hardcore realism servers [eg; WWD]. You could honestly go on a killing spree on that server and i don't think anyone would care enough to report lmao. plus alot of the meso realism rules are pretty mid compared to other realism servers.

Honestly most things are bad in some way like the hip boxes and combat is so bad and most dinosaurs are over powered so I see what Z means but every thing else is decent just needs a few changes.
