That’s a tough question ‘cause both places have different charms ☺️ Beppu if you love to see the onsens and nature, lots of walking, less street foods ♨️ Yufuin has more activities, restaurants, street foods, shrine and has a great view too! ☺️
If you were to stay for 1 night, between beppu oita and yufuin, please choose one. 😊 thank you
@@rick11228 I went to yufuin last February and it was great. I'd definitely suggest Yufuin as it has a lot of tourist attractions

Hi. Did you make reservations prior to your trip to Beppu? I also purchased a 5day jr pass and I plan on copying your itinerary. Also, can we do the Yufuin and Beppu in one day?
We did not reserve our seat, there were lots of seats on the non reserve cars, we took the first train btw ☺️ You can do both Yufuin and Beppu in one day, but its gonna be tiring. Lots of walking in both places ☺️

Hello, In what station did you board the train? May I know the train type which you used to go to Beppu?
We boarded at Hakata Station in Fukuoka, and took JR Sonic Nichirin. It is covered by JR Kyushu Northern Pass, highly recommend getting one ☺️
How much is the ticket for the hells of beppu tour?
Entrance is 2,200yen for all seven hells ☺️

Hello po! You may use any travel IC cards (PASMO, SUICA, etc.). In our case we used our PASMO which was added to our Apple wallet. But take note once you add it to Apple wallet, the physical card gets disabled. ☺️
