Moriah, our Pinterest Manager, visited me in the Bay for a few days from Houston. We decided to do a weekend Pinterest project! I'm so busy booking myself with clients that I haven't had time to transform my work space. Join us on our journey as Moriah and I take down my old Ikea desk, install a brand new one, go shopping at HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Target, and more to create a functional AND cute, inspirational work place for me.

Cuteeeee! I like the light colors of the office. A Lumiy Lightline LED desk lamp would be perfect for it. Modern, compact, and super bright on light.

Sure, I will... But I guess it will take me another month or two, cause I'm looking for a larger apartment and am in the process of packing up and deciding what to take and what to toss:) Thanks for replying! I'll keep in touch! By the way, I'd been in San Francisco just once for two days and one night and liked the colorful houses and the trolley-buses :))

Looked through about 30 different youtube videos to find a neat compact desk plus organiser shelving which would go well in front of a large window in a home office. And this was by far the best one. Im literally going to IKEA to buy the Kallax desk combo right now with the insert drawers and insert door. This was a fabulous video. had my favourite colours in it too! Thank you!
Great video! I would say all you need is a nice humanscale chair and a Lumiy LED desk lamp!

how do you like the table? is it sturdy? I'm planning to buy this for my salon and was wondering if it's sturdy. i don't want customers to stand up and the table just collapses. lol
Hi Cherry. The table is stable, especially since it is attached to the Kallax storage system.

Hi, I just came across this video today! I'm really glad you got this, because I've been wanting to find a bookshelf/desktop like this for some time now. Could you please put the measurements? I don't know if it's too tall for my wall, cuz I have an a/c unit up top. But it seems ok though. Thanks again! I hope our Ikea here (Taipei, Taiwan) has it.

Sorry but it looks disorganized. My little kid said it looks messy and that’s what I thought too. You just basically transferred everything to a new desk but everything still looks cluttered. I was expecting something a lot better than this.

YUCK!!!! Mariah should have stayed in Houston. It still looks clumpy, messy with little space to even work.
E' Lisa Fisher I thought so too, surprisingly, the previous setup provided more storage. It looks ill suited for the space and the cubes are messy looking.
