I'm a barb primarily, 2950 reso mostly PvE. Fang stacks very fast in pvp thanks to wrath fire and bile, and sprint if you're using the essences for that, as well as 4pc grace if using that. In addition I decided to ditch my 4 star rank 5 concentrated will for a rank 10 cutthroats grin. I find it far less situational for me as a barb than Will was, as I'm not constrained to dash skills. In PvE it's A to S possibly due to barb mobility with sprint and whirlwind, and for pvp maybe B tier for the same reasons. My biggest issue in pvp is staying stunned for a long time, so some of my gems will be temporarily useless in pvp anyway! Great video, thanks for your opinions!

You did say you did mostly PvE, I really like Gloom Cask for PvE on Barbarian. But yeah Starfire is better for pvp. Maybe in the future swap cutthroats out for Starfire.@@dreadapocalypse2010

I'd say the resonance is worth it at my level, but I'm the rank 13 barb on Lida's server, and for spending a grand or less I'm pretty happy, from the PvE based perspective I have! That was the rationale for replacing gloom. I'd have to think hard about what I'm replace grin with, because I do find it quite useful. Obviously you know WW allows way positioning, but sprint may be overlooked for the same as it prevents the body of the mob from blocking movement. Very useful on queen, ongori, perdition, leoric, ashava, especially siegebreaker. So if I'm weaving the only thing I look at (outside of the queen boss' red bat spam) is which way the mob is facing and what attack pattern I am on, so I know without thinking how to reposition and keep DPS as high as possible.

Should I replace them with 2 star gems?

Well I would just get a Bloodsoaked jade for the 10% permanent movement speed you could swap out the Chip of Stone flesh! Just rank the blood soaked up to rank 2 is fine.@@patrickhidalgo256

Yeah you would want to Rank 10 the Berserker and swap in the Bloodsoaked for the Carsen. You would also level up the Painclasp , fervant fang and mother's lament to rank 9 first if possible. Power and command isn't that great and can be swapped out
For the Same amount of Gem power that a rank 10 2star Legendary (815 gem power) The Value that it gives for certain A and S tier 2 star gems the loss of 150 to 200 Resonance is worth it to me.
gem effects are 100% better than raw resonance within context of sub 5k players. a Pain Clasp gives 15% dmg in PvP at rank 10 after strife debuff, at 4k resonance with 24,000 dmg thats the equivalent of 3600 dmg or 1690 resonance but even more to the point Resonance debuff in PvP scales WITH your resonance meaning the higher resonance you have the higher the penalty like a progressive tax, at the top end 9k+ its reduced by 48%. the point is if your not on your way to 5k+ resonance than you should be using a mix of 2* and 5* gems and specifically going for the strongest effects rather than raw resonance, Especially if you can awaken those 2* gems namely Power and Command, Pain Clasp, Mothers Lament, kir Sling, Fervant fang, blood reach because awakening outside of being a significant power gain are not effected by Strife. and not to mention PvE where mixing 2* gems with 5* gems is already proven stronger than just going all 5* rank 10s. The default 2* gems everyone should use is Pain Clasp #1 and Mothers Lament/Fervant Fang #2

New Viper 2star is Rank A Gem you could get to couple with PainClasp. So be sure to get a viper if you have a painclasp

Hellfire fragment is about a C tier gem. There is much better gems, and new legendary gems are coming soon!

I have not tested, but Condemn and Consecration should proc Grace of Flagellant?

Looks pretty good, but you will need a blood soaked jade for the movement speed. Even a rank 1 blood soaked jade gives you alot of movement speed.
